what happened to the moloid clan? i'm a member, i'd like to discuss all things moloid with people who think like i do. i've noticed that it had to be restarted a few times, maybe its time to restart it again. so, if anyone knows where it went, post!!! thanks!!

From what I've heard from our leader the clan was banned due to a moderator claiming no one cared about moloids so the clan wasn't necessary. Kinda hard to understand that when there is a Rotting Corpse Clan and in the ultimate in no one caring there is a clan based on the Clone Saga the single worst comic event ever! I agree that the clan should be restarted since it seems one mods bias is the only reason it isn't on here still. Anyways I'm all for another try as a clan.

Well this once again proves that mod incorrect that no one cares about Moloids. However I doubt that will change his mind. My customized moloids are growing in number and thanks to everyone who submitted ideas and joined the clan in its' past forms. The Sniper Moloid and Galactoid turned out really good. Current project is customizing Morlocks to join the army. Still trying to find a better leader than Rupert for my army so any input would be welcome. But to answer previous questions the clan is still alive but any attempt at a thread is shut down instantly whereas other clans with no merit whatsoever are allowed to thrive. As for mod bias I agree it seemed ridiculous but then again so does phasing on the dial of a person who's team ability is auto-phasing. That is all.

For instance: Did the 'moderator' know that Moloids make the absolute BEST 'meat shields' in the game!? They're cheap, they're stealthy, they're can sing - they've got it all!

I can't wait for MODOK to come out in a Clix version, so I can see a MODIOID mod (great big head, little bitty body)!

i personaly like it when they all sing "rain drops keep falling on my head" its so harmonic, and throws me off my game, so much so that superman critical misses when attacking one!!! can't wait to see the ghost rider one.

As for the Ghost Rider one I'm debating whether I should leave the moloid head on it or put the skull head or the moloid face on the front of the flame head? Wondering which will work best. Finished up my first M-Unit Morlock last night and it's looking pretty good standing behind 50-Point.

Just figured I'd toss my fun little Moloid story into the clan.

A few months ago I recieved a great gift in my Judge rewards. I opened up a LE3 box and saw Val-or awaiting me inside. I already had one, but thought it was cool since I could mod him to look like his first appearance in the X-Factor Annual (sash across his body and a slightly orange tint).

I look at the dial and he's got all these colorful squares: Orange toughness, Yellow Phasing, Red RCE. Sure enough, someone had stuck a Moloid fig on a Moonstone/Meteorite LE base.


I love my Dr. Val-or Sofen LE. ;)

Moloid battle story: I have the monstrous Despero POUNDING the tar out of my opponent's Silver Surfer from range. My opponent bases me with a Moloid Mod that's painted red and called... (wait for it)... The Moloid Without Fear.

This move keeps me from making any ranged attacks for a turn and Silver Surfer escapes, only to thwart me later in the battle. A master-stroke by my opponent! D A M N HIM!!!!!!!!!:classic:

Moloids are tough cookies when that opponent uses them! Gotta watch out.

It's 50-point but pronounced fi-dee point. I started working on the M-Unit Morlocks yesterday and was trying to put a Morlock head on an Abomination body so I could have a tough enforcer piece for the crew. Not sure if it's gonna match up well or not. If not I'll just steal the hands from Abomination and put them on a Morlock. Gonna see about borrowing a friend's digital camera to post some Moloid photos online. We shall see.

Since we can't have a clan and all I think we should start a Moloid Hall Of Fame for great Moloids in history. Our first inductee will be chosen by a vote on this very thread. Our candidates are:

The Moloid Without Fear: Took on Despero to help save Silver Surfer and save the victory for his teammates.

Kryptonite Moloid: Distracted OWAW Supes by singing causing Supes to punch a wall and hurt his hand.

50-Point: By himself took out a V T.O. Morrow and a R Major Maxim in the Great War of 1000.

Cosmic Moloid: The Silver Boogie Boarder took out LE Hawkgirl, V Hawkman, R Zatanna, and V Deathstroke all in the same tourney.

Ninja Moloid: Was captured from water by a Doombot Sentinel and valiantly stabbed him in the hand causing him to short circuit.

Moloid Called Horse: Was on the Con Artist/Sentinel team that took down a full power Galactus in three turns in a three way battle.

In last night's Crisis Of Infinite Clix the V Green Lantern of Sector -1(Moloid head on Hal body with Manhunter lantern in hand and repainted suit) was the last clix standing at the end of the finals. Fighting to redeem the deaths of his proud teammates, the rookie Hal Jordan and the two V Hawkeyes, the moloid was still on his first click defeating the Captain Marvels, Beasts, and Wolverines. Proud night for the Moloid Clan. P.S. A small reminder that Hall of Fame voting will end on Friday. VOTE NOW!

So Dr Molenstein had insomnia last night so several new creations poured out of his laboratory. The Moloid Biker(A repainted Moloid holding a chain while riding a repainted Ghost Rider motorcycle), Batmoloid(A repainted Moloid with a repainted Clayface III cape), and the Flying Moloid(A Moloid on a flight base with Hawkman's mask, wings, and axe.) Also a quick reminder that Moloid Hall of Fame ballots are due tonight.

So the two Hall of Fame inductees are the Moloid Without Fear and the Kryptonite Moloid. During the inaugural Moloid Hall of Fame game the moloids took second finally being defeated by a R Ultron and V Batman. The Moloid Without Fear took out a E Mandroid Armor and in the shock of the game Moloid X defeated a V Ulik. Overall a great game and still anyones game until the Sniper Moloid fell. Overall a fun game and a proud day for the Moloid Clan.

Sorry I haven't been updating in a while. Been trying to track down several new moloids to convert over in the lab. Should have at least three new ones by next weekend. Should have been more but what can you do? Right now MoE the Evil Moloid is next to be created and possibly the Symbiote Moloid which will either be Venom or Carnage influenced probably depending on how good I can do the paint. Other leading candidates for creation include Aquamoloid, Skeletoid, Predatoid, Moloidette, and possibly Captain Moloid or the Amazing Moloid. All depending on what comes to the mad Dr. in his dreams. In other moloid news the Green Lantern of Sector -1 has been doing well in tournament play and the awesome might of the Moloid Army may be released on the masses soon. Also hopefully the Cosmic Moloid takes another step towards the Moloid Hall of Fame by gaining the power cosmic in a scenario game on Tuesday. Wish the Army luck.

Predatoid is complete and in his first tournament he took out two vet Scourges and had the power cosmic twice. The joy of the E Scarab dial he's on auto stealth, super senses, and b/c/f. Also the Cosmic Moloid held the Power Cosmic for about 3/4 of the game until a Scourge army descended on him. A bunch more moloids are on the way so MoE, Archer Moloid, Symbiote Moloid, Moloidette, SuperMoloid and many more are on the way.
