I'm going to give it to Vader here. D&D wizards are dependant upon concentration and casting time to get off their better spells, and a master of the Force can interfere with that. Teflon Billy also strikes me as fairly corruptably temptable which is another trick of the Dark Lord. :) Meanwhile, a paltry Burning Hands spell isn't going to do squat when Vader "decloaks" (having used mental invisibility) and swings that lightsaber at Teflon's head.

Besides, Teflon's player will be too busy geeking out over Vader. ;)

Are you guys serious?! Teflon Billy's player probably knows the stats and abilitys for Vader in every rpg interpretation that has ever been written, heck being the uber geek he is he might know Vader better than Vader himself, and that means Billy knows all this too. Billy works in huge explosions, which are particularly hard for jedi to deal with, so Teflon has the tools to blow Vader up, he can breach the Sith Lord's defenses. Honestly Teflon Billy would know every single thing that Vader has ever done in any media format ever, his player is that level of geek, I don't see how Vader can prevail in circumstances like that since he won't know anything about Billy, especially with the potential arsenal Billy has at his disposal.

Yeah, Brian would have figured a loophole through which he could ultimately steal Vader's power. He's more ruthless, and more ambitious, and he's got moxy. Teflon Billy in the hands of Brian is a lethal weapon.

In addition Teflon Billy doesn't have the same cast time constraints standard wizards do, all Hackmaster battlemages can "prep" spells a little before hand so that they can throw them instantly (this is what Brian is talking about when he says "fireballs coming online"). Furthermore he is hardly susceptible to being tempted to the darkside because he is already there.
