DC 200 point all rookie team...

Tourney this weekend... help me decide which team to play!!

Team 1
R Black Adam 102
R Cyborg 44
R Death Stroke 40
R CheckMmedic13

total: 199

I tried a simmilar version of this team w/o cyborg, but I just couldn't afford to have Black Adam sitting around picking his nose till the 4th round... There for Cyborg pulswaves Deathstroke outwits... BA picks up every object he can find, smacks people and runs... kinda cheesy but effective, unless my opponent has multiple outwits.

R Camelion 30
R Robin 17
R Intergang Medic 20

Total:300

I think this would be a more ballanced team, plenty of range... outwit... mind control... medic... anti stealth sniper, plasticity to hold a big fig in place. and mystics TA to give feed back to who ever damages the plasticity guy...

Can any one please give me an example of a team that would destroy either of mine??

I know all rookie DC characters, don't leave you with many options... but im actually enjoying, thinking on another level.
As oposed to the normal Open Hero clix 300 pointers.

I started looking at this last night, but I got sleepy and went to bed. :)

Well, as far as an all Rookie team goes, either of these is pretty good.

On Team 1, if you're going to use activation click characters and Cyborg to Pulsewave, why not use another? How about R Hawk? :)

Also, against an all rookie squad, I think someone like Solomon Grundy or Swampthing would be really tough to deal with.

Team 2 I like, but if you want the Outwit you're talking about, you'll need to swap out Chamelon for Brainiac. ;)

As far as what you'll be facing, you're going to have to watch out for R WonderWoman, R Circe, R Batman, R Huntress, R Two-Face, R Flash, R Green Lantern (Hal), R Dr Fate, and R Black Adam.

The only way that I can see for you to really protect against some of those threats is to either rely upon Impervious, rely upon SuperSenses, or add someone with Barrier.

I actually play tested the 2nd team last night,and completely annihilated it with another rookie team that I just threw together. This was the team...

Team 3:

R Cosmic Boy 45
R Deadshot 41
R Deathstroke 40
R Aquaman 27
R Lexcorp Battle suit 27
R Huntress 18

Total: 198

This team really surprised me... with 1 TK, 2 taxis, 2 sources for outwit, plenty of stealth, leadership, and the ability to pop some one for 5 damage with Auquaman + heavy. The only thing I'm missing is free movement... which gave me the idea of switching R Zatanna 29 points for the Lexcorp Battle Suit. I loose one source of outwit, but I gain 2 free moving taxis, along with Force blast, which may come in handy!


You're idea of using R hawk with my pulswave BA team is something I really wanted to do... unfortunately, I'm lacking the R hawk.:(

Mmmmmmm .... this is a much more dangerous team, IMO. Aquaman is seriously one of my favorite pieces in the game. And both Deadshot and Deathstroke are really good pieces.

Yes, you're right, this All Rookie team is far superior. :)
