n00b 300 point team

Alright, here is my noobish 300 point team. Please critique it constructively (i.e. no flames), thanks. :)


V Ult Captain America 102 (killer defense, what can I say? It's HARD to take down the Cap)
V Ult Hawkeye 73 (5 clicks of damage from 8 spaces away, and if need be can hit three figs for 1? Not bad.)
V Black Cat 36 (Mainly used for probability control)
V Scourge (Stealth and RCE, nice!) 21
V Hand Ninja (BCF and Stealth for 17? I'll take it) 17
E Paramedic (Healing) 10
E Jean Grey (TK :-) ) 39

It all adds up to 298. Post thoughts and suggestions please.

Well, if the Ultimates is your bag, then go for it. I would say to downgrade V Black Cat to E and save 4 points and then she can copy Ult. TA with her Spidey TA, this could make her a good Stealthed support killer even if it makes her L/C semi-redundant. If using Jean Grey on E, why not downgrade her to R and save 8 points and lose nothing except 1 click of life, and 4 clicks of TK instead of 3. Using these 12 points can happen in many ways. If you were planning on TKing the ninja, use 4 points and upgrade to a V Typhoid Mary, who doesn't have the stealth, but does have a ranged option with a better AV to go with that BCF. With the extra 10 points left (8 from Jean downgrade and 2 from your leftovers) You can either upgrade Typhoid Mary to a better BCF character. or, upgrade your medic to a V AIM Medic, which gives you back your Hydra TA which the E Black Cat can copy, plus it keeps people from groaning at you for using a paramedic. It even has a range 6 for a 1 damage attack in a pinch. So my variation on your team would be:

V Cap 102
V Hawkeye 73
E Black Cat 32
V Scourge 21
V Typhoid Mary 21
R Jean Grey 31
V AIM Medic 17

297 points.

Actually E Black Cat gets a great boost from the Ultimates TA. She can PC Characters in stealth for starters. Also her LC is not wasted. The Ultimates TA only allows you to ignore Hindering Terrain for Movement and LoF. So you can move from stealth at full Range. But The TA does not confer the following: the ability to get on Elevated Terrain, or the Ability to not need to roll breakaway. Those are given by LC. So the Ultimates TA is good for certain things but LC is better for movement. The combination of the two is just wrong.

In a good way. The real winners are the Spider-man and Daredevil figures with Spider-man Ally TA's. When combined with Ultimates/Superman TA and Batman/Kabuki TA, they become incredible machines are death. The only thing better would be a wild card grounded figure with LC, 10 Range 2 arrows and Outwit to start. That would be SWEEEET!

V Klaw fits some or that and might see some serious action soon!

Could you guys think of any way of placing Unique (Ultimates) Xorn in this team and still keep it 300 points?
