Ok someone probably already has a thread about this. In fact there are probably several.

I was looking through my tackle box and for the first time I picked the U. Lex Luthor up and really looked at the piece of junk.
Can someone please tell me how this utter piece of carp can be 69 pts.?
I ran it through a dial generator using Retarrdog's point formula and it came up to 48 pts.( and thats about 20 too many if you ask me)
I've run other clix through his Pt. formula before and it seems to usually be accurate within a point or two.

The only expalnation I can come up with is that there is no point formula and that WK just guesses at it and sometimes comes up really wrong.

Any ideas are welcome.

I think Wizkids have point guidelines. I imagine that they first decide how much the want a figure to cost, then they begin plugging in stats and powers until it reaches what they think is appropriate for the value. Then the playtesting begins. After significant testing they change values and point costs. Then they finalize the figure.

Luthor was probably a case in which they arrived at a point total that was too low. This could be either from having too many powers, or at his lower point value he had no one to mastermind to. At the last minute they had to increase his point value, but in doing managed to overcost him so that his stats and powers weren't worth the new point total.
