Well I had a terrible morning, late to a meeting, people bugging me to death, just a bunch of garbage. I come to the Realms hoping to get cheered up only to find BudPalmer, Mr. Pilkington and others talking about their awful days.

Let's hear it: who's having a real bear (friggin' swear filters) of a day?

Luke B. lookin' forward to gettin' home and reading Captain America and Identity Crisis #3. After I go to the gym........grrrrrr

BudPalmer
08/11/2004, 15:51
Oh great now YOU'RE talking about me! That's all I need! LOL.

I found out that work was going to become more difficult and I just can't get around the fact that I need a new job.

Yeah, as a matter of fact I was supposed to leave on a West Coast(Left Coast) run this morning(I'm a long haul truck driver)but my load got cancelled so instead of being on the road making lots of money to buy cases of Mutant Mayhem I'm sitting here PO'd about it.

Today is better. Monday was bad. An issue came up that threatened to de-rail my travel plans for heading to Chicago this weekend (WWC). Things worked out, but it was still stress inducing.

Let's see... where to start? I know!

1) June's car payment check bounced
2) July's car payment is late
3) Rent is due on the 15th
4) Last night, my wife told me she wants to quit her job
5) And oh yeah... I'm at work in a job I am beginning to hate. My project is never gonna end... seriously

It's warmer in Alaska today than it is in Michigan. Coldest 8/11 on record 63 in the middle of summer. lets all go for a swim. On second thought lets watch the leaves change fricking colors.

I had a rather nice day.
This morning I could help my Dad out by printing some labels for him. Then I met some friends at our local venue and had a Blood Bowl match that was great fun. Afterwars I invited a friend to dinner.
I can't complain.

I'm here in Alaska and I gotta tell you, this has been the hottest summer ever [least in my 16 years being here]
We don't have air conditioning so the heat is nothing nice!!!

But it ain't "that" bad....

I just recently joined this Forum and I spelled my name wrong [should be bootkneelee] and I don't know how to change it.... now that puts a crimp in my shorts!

I'm doing better today. I was in a foul mood this morning when I posted about the Justice League Unlimited from Saturday, but since then I *finally* found a store in the greater Triangle area that got some PotSM in and bought a ton of it. Unfortunately now I wanna open it all, but I have 3 friends who wanted in on the game. Ugh! Must... have... willpower!

Oh, and I randomly bought *another* of the big giants boxes of D&D stuff and finally scored a Behir! So my day got a lot happier, even if I am still at work!!! My lunch break rocked. :)

Well, just to throw another one out there... at least you guys HAVE jobs. I'm applying for a grad school program, but won't know if I'm accepted until next Tuesday - which wouldn't be a big deal, except classes start Wednesday. Until that point, my life is pretty much on hold because I can't job search until I know my class schedule (assuming I get accepted, of course.)

But hey, it's not all bad... I think I'm going to see "The Manchurian Candidate" with my girlfriend tonight, and if it all works out then by next week everything should be great... :cheeky:

Okay well my ####py life is getting slightly better, but here's where I stand

1. My current job has gotten to the point where I need to leave because I am mistreated.
2. I need money to pay my phone, power, and water bills
3. I need to come up with 90 bucks to go to a wrestling event with my friends next month.
4. Something is up with my freezer in my apartment.
5. My power bill is 10 bucks more because I have been running the Air Conditioner.
6. I have this huge and rather painful corn on my little toe on my left foot, and I've tried everything from abrasive soap to filing and it won't come off. I've never had one of these things before.

Now the money thing should be no problem. I get paid on Friday, with the advance I got last Monday I will have enough for the tickets and then the following week I will have enough for my bills.

I have no clue what's up with my freezer but for some reason my otter pops aren't freezing except for maybe 2 at a time and my Ice cubes keep evaporating. I don't suspect mechanical failure yet but you never know.

When summer finally goes away my AC problem will go as well.

I have no freaking clue how to get rid of this thing. It looks like my baby toe is trying to grow another baby toe. Anyone know how to fix this?

As for needing a new job. Guess what, no one is hiring. I refuse to go back to the Starbucks where I am told I would be "welcomed." I need to get the F out of here. I've been applying and sending resumes and even sitting down for interviews. No dice. However I am going to wait until my money problems vanish before I take another job. sigh I got some work I have to go do. See ya later.

He's a heroclix playing gamer geek. It not in the natural order for him to have "hot totally sweet ninja sex" If he had, the space time continuum would have collapsed and we all would be dead. (Except for me, I'm super smart and live outside of the continuum and am just observing)

Hey, I've been off the grid in Southern California for the past four days - hiking in Laguna Beach, resale shopping on Melrose, meeting with aquarium staff in San Diego. I'll live with the double w's...

Just finished it, it seems to me that the DC Universe is stepping it up a bit. The ending is most sad, but I do not have any close ties with either of the 2 who... are no longer with the DC Universe, so I'm not sad or PO'd, but it'a a great story! And Ollie is still the man!!!! :devious:

compared to how the last 6 months or so of my life has gone... today wasn't so bad.

1 car reposessed
3 months late on the morgage (mom bailed me out, thanks mom :) )
bounced multiple checks in a row (bank error, but they wouldn't admit it)
car insurance company dropped us
remaining car broke down (p.o.s. gmc)
replaced broken car with used car... at double the monthly payment (thanks honda  )
roof started leaking (fixed it myself)
dog got sick (got better)
ferret died (didn't get better)
i have a doctor's appointmet tuesday to find out what wrong with me. (i hurt)
and a hurricane is supposed to hit us friday. (but it's only a category 1)

sometimes its a shame i don't drink.

My days lately have been going...moderate. School in less than a week, so I'm mad about that. But here's something bad that happened a few days ago:

My sister had a dental appointment. However, she needed to take some drugs, and she couldn't drive herself, and it was going to last 3 hours. I'm very impatient (I'm 15, I'm trying to help it so sue me), so I was trying to get out of it, and we ended up arguing and yelling, right? Well, I apologize and stuff, and I already have a HUGE guilty conscious.

But, to add insult to injury, she buys me a new GBA game for entertainment. Now I feel like I'm not only STEALING from her, but I also mad her feel bad!!!! I just wish...I wish I wouldn't put my foot in my mouth so much. Oh well, Christmas for her will be good, she can bet on that ;).

Moneywise, I never have any. No job yet (2 months and then FINALLY 16!!!).

I broke one of the legs of the computer chair, so now it wobbles.

Basically, it's nothing too terribly bad. Found a Venom shirt in an October order catelog for 17 bucks, so I decided to reserve it. That'll be fun paying off.

Something I really HATE, but I can't bare to admit it because a lot of people think it's stupid that I have this fear of this movie....well, this movie has another sequal coming out in November, and I'm really jumpy and superstitutious, so I'm jumping quite a lot lately now that I've heard about this movie. NOVEMBER WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN AWESOME, HEROCLIX MONTH!!! NOW IT'S GONNA BE HECK!!!!!

Friend doing lots of drugs, I'm losing him everyday.

Yep, I guess I am kinda having some bad days. Oh well, I don't really like to look at the negative, so to me it's average :D

Hope everyone else has good days!!!!

Lets see this year.

The altenator on my Van dies on the MA turnpike while im still 115 miles from home. Total bill with towing? (You dont want to know.) I got laid off of my manufacturing job rehired a week later then laid off again a week after that. (Absolute truth.) Now i'm working on a blueberry farm as a picker. (Back breaking insanity.) The breaks on my van die a week before state vehicle inspection. (Don't ask how much it cost you will get a nose bleed) Does your state have annual vehicle inspections? No? Boy are you fellow losers lucky. Fortunately my recent groin pull injury is starting to heal just in time to see Marvel ruin the Avengers. After Critical Mass (The worst set they have made) At least I can smile with satisfaction when I look at Ultimates. (So far a Very, Very, Very, Underrated set.) The LEs for this set are some of the best I have seen in a long time. Oh well enough of my Kvetching and complaining it's some other poor sods turn. Shuting up now and all my best.

The day really bites. Pissed at my girlfriend for some stuff she's been asking other people. On her site she made a survey and it had some questions that just really pissed me off. Asking other GUYS(!!!) if they would kiss her, touch her, love her, date her, marry her, intercourse with her, while being taken. Me being her so called "boyfriend" reading what other guys had to say, well...I'm pissed!

I wish I could remember what that was like. I spend so much money on comics that my bank account somehow stays in stasis. I somehow spend my complete check every week. I pay my bills sure but after that I buy comics and clix.

I'm always pissed off. Quintessentially pissed off. And usually over the pettiest-@$$ stuff. For example......

I'm 22 and have no life. I work for minimum wage as a waitress because my high school diploma isn't doing carp for me.

I can't get back into school for nursing because the business office continues to screw me over.

My phone bill is overdue.

My medical bills are overdue.

People are b*tching at me for aforementioned bills being overdue.

And I'm still pissed about getting fired for some carp I didn't do.

Aaaaah. I feel better. :)

Anyone need a hug?

I'm pissed too! I was having a pretty good week. I was worried about going on strike at my work but that didn't happen. Actually we got a raise and don't have to pay health care for 5 years. I took my girlfriend and her daughter to kings island and had lots of fun. Played tons of Madden with my buds. Played in 2 heroclix tournaments and had lots of fun and won a curtis conners le. Here's the bad part. My cousin calls me on Wednesday and says he needs a place to crash for a few weeks before he moves to Oregon. I have my own house and work third shift. I love coming home to my nice quiet house and being able to do whatever I want. After working all night i had to help him move a bunch of his carp in because he needed my truck. We didn't get done until like 1:30 and i had to be back at work at 9. Plus he woke me up 3 times moving some more of his carp in. My cousin's a pretty cool guy and you have to help out your family so maybe it won't be that bad. But today definitely sucked. Two more hours of work then i can go home and crash. I'm tired as hell. Three weeks and counting....
