New line Cinema is currently writing the script that will see the rematch of Freddy Vs Jason. But what is this? Ash from the Evil Dead Series wll be added to the mix as well! Groovy Baby. Do you know what this is Freddy? This is my Boom Stick.

As if that wasn't enough, Dimension Films is in Development for Michael Myers Vs Pinhead from the Halloween and Hellraiser films. I can only imagine what sort of bad @$$ Michael Myers would be if he happened to get turned into a Cennobite. Yowsa!

As a hard core Horror fan, this has certainly got my attention. I can't wait for both films!

Helloween (temp title for Pinhead vs Myers) was just an idea which never panned out. nothing more then that. The fans were not to keen on it so its not being made.

FvsJvsAsh is only going to happen if they can sign Bruce Campbell, and he will only agree if he wins in the movie.

Dont expect anything withing the next few years at least. (freddy vs Jason 2 may come out first)

According to today's news, "Helloween" is still in development. It seems the popularity of matching up big screen villians, as well as their box office take (Freddy Vs Jason= 82.2 million not including DVD), is changing the minds of executives who poo-pooed on the notion a few years ago.

Lets hope that AvP hits 100 million this weekend!

Eh Freddy Vs Jason was kinda stupid, i think it would of been better if it was Jason Vs Mike Myers so they could have avoided the whole dream thing for Jason which was stupid. Im sure kids would know how to wake up Jason and get freddy into the real worlds etc etc. Would of been cooler if it was just Brawn against Brawn while they kill people alltogether.

Pinhead Vs. Myers? I don't know about that...some witty zombie from the shadows might not fair too well against the general of hell's army.

I agree that Myers Vs. Jason would've been better...just a hack and slash thing...a Freddy Vs. Pinhead showdown in hell would've been awesome though.

The current Owner of the Halloween franchise has denided time and time again that Myers Vs Pinhead WILL NOT happen, he refuses to do it, and he won't sell the rights. Myers Vs Jason on the otehr hand is a possiblity but I think it'd be a lame movie. Neither one of them can talk. And what would be Myers reasoning at all? At least in Freddy Vs Jason the plot made some sense. The best thing they could od is say that Jason is 1/100th Myers or something like that. Or Myers just happens upon Camp Crytal Lake? I dunno both of those ideas sound dumb to me. And Ash Vs Freddy Vs Jason. As much as I like Ash, and would go see the movie. I don't think it'd work as well as everyone says it would. The Necronomican was in Jason Goes to Hell so It's do able plot wise. But if Jason gets that clsoe to Ash. . Ash is done. Unless they somehow Pump Ash up liek they did Freddy.

Anything can be done in good hands....Freddy Vs. Jason was a stupid idea that was pulled off about as good as you could do it. It wasn't afraid to poke fun at the subgenre the characters created and then destroyed. Ash getting involved is a great idea and there is probably something they can do. Evil Dead 2 is the perfect quasi-parody of horror films...it's also a masterpiece in my opinion. Ash entering those films is a perfect fit for fans of the genre and for the pace and mood of the film.
