BroMags, there's an inconsistency in the FAQ and tournament rules.

The updated FAQ says all WK published maps are legal, but the tourney rules still have that comment in 1.5.2 declaring them illegal.

I think a clarification or at least a response is in order.

Well, we originally put that line in the Tournament Rules because of the strange size of the Universe map. But then we got to thinking how cool it would be to do a cage match on it - but it wouldn't be fair to have some players on a map of one size, and other players on a map of another size. Ergo, the entry in the FAQ.

I'll make sure that gets fixed in the next comprehensive tournament rules update. Until then, play it whichever way you'd like. You won't see any small maps at any of the big, important events, like Worlds.

You know I thought it would be funny to pull that little map and try to claim it in a tourney. :)

Actually, I was concerned because I am considering starting a venue for quick play where we would play 100 point teams every week on the mini-maps.

I have played quite a few 100 pointers on the mini-maps and they are fast and fun!

I'm still in favor of mixing map sizes whenever possible. Playing in an MK dungeon, or on those wonderful tiles, certainly adds a new challenge to a standard Clix tourney.

The “Path to Glory” World Championship Tournament Rules still say that the first round is a draft. But at WWC, the DC Championship was sealed with no drafting. Both methods are a lottery so I'm not sure I care but how will this actually be done at WWT? And which expansions' boosters will be used there for the Open World Championship? I'm guessing Euro Indy, Unleashed and Ultimates, right?
