We all know Jim Lee is the nicest guy in all of comics.

I'm begging you Jim! Forget Batman. To Heck with Supes.

Pick the next writer you want to work with most, or get a hold of Brandon Choi's secret diaries. Then take a full year to save your children.

It's time to put THE WILDCATS back on top.

Yes they are a solid concept, and have done well under all the many interpretations, but now is the time to return. The Cats have fallen on hard times through no fault of the creative teams (But I believe going Mature cut off a lot of potential readers), but everyone needs help sometimes.

Surely Lee has some love left for Grifter (one of the ten greatest characters of all time), Voodoo, Spartan, Void, Maul, Zealot, and Warblade. Maybe they could come back under the leadership of Mr Majestic?

JIM LEE'S WILDCATS.

Lightning could and would strike twice. Come on Jim. I know you want to.

i usually agree w/ most of the things you say, but i LOVED Wildcats 3.0 and hate to see it go. JoeCasey made it one of the best books out there. Grifter was the $#!+ in that book! i would love to see a new Wildcats book, but Maul and Warblade would have to take a back seat. its were they belong. looking forward to Intimates though, Lee, Casey and i forgot the artists. it looks fun.

I agree that WILDCATS is a solid concept that needs to be re-launched in a big way.

You misunderstand me Candy.

I love 3.0 as well. I just think the only chance for a succesful revival will have to have Jim associated in some way. Even if only on covers and coscripting.

I'm no prude. I've collected Heavy Metal for eons. But some scenes were just uneccessary to the plot and story and only served to keep away a larger audience. The nude scenes just meant no one under 18 could buy the book, when many 15 and up could easily understand and get something out of the story.

At the end of the day sales talk, and I'd rather see Wildcats continue in some form, than dissappear from the shelves.

All the themes discussed could just have easily been done in the parameters that vol 2 functioned under with the same writer.

In interviews, Jim could really push Wildstorm books as well as his current projects. It's been so long many younger readers probably don't know he created the Cats. Just mentioning that could have helped sales.

Just looking for solutions.

I've heard rumours that Wildstorm will be disolved and the characters ported into the regular DCU. I'm wary. The Wildstorm Universe has been my most favorite since it's inception.

To see Wildcats, Storm Watch, Gen13, and The Authority swept under a rug like the Ultraverse is unacceptable.

We all know how often we see the old Charleton and Fawcett characters outside of small guest appearances. Including Shazam. Hardly ever.

I really liked Stormwatch back when image put it out. I never read it after DC bought out Wildstorm so I can't say much about it after that though.

Wildcats is solid... but am I the only one out there who would rather see solid, good, new work being done, than constant relaunches of things?

Wildcats was the most solidly written book out there, but sales have been in the toilet. I truly believe this is due to a misuse of DC's advertising, but going mature readers only also deprived the book of a lot of readers unneccesarily.

I'm not just saying let's reboot. The book is already cancelled. I'm looking for ways to keep it alive.
