Didn't want to hijack the play-off thread with this question, so:
As a Red Sox fan, I was wondering if the Red Sox were a heroclix fig, any character with a clickable base, who do you think they would be?
Black Manta was my first thought, but he's largely useless accept for walking terrain features.
The IC/Universe R Hulk comes to mind, being a Green Monster and all, and rollercoaster of stats certainly reminds me of games, series, heck entire seasons of Red Sox play.
What do you think?

They would have like one good click and then one really good and then one all zero's to represent them losing in the the play offs.

LE Catwoman... a very playable clix that not many people like... and a couple clix at the end to represent her being dead. With the possibility of coming back strong.
Of course, I'm a Cubs fan...

Dude, we agree on absolutely nothing...:p
The Yankees would be either Cosmic Boy or Livewire...because A-rod and Jeter dress each other before each game.

firelord! they will fall apart and (as much as i hate it) the yankees will win again.
btw im an angels fan and while the angels of 2002 were really like anaconda(a fig no one expected to be good) this year they have been like a thor hooker bomb team. very tough but nothing a little barrier and some pulse wave cant stop!

Great. There goes my response. Oh, what the ####, I'll post it anyway.
Wizkids would have to create a Battlefield Condition card for the Bo Sox clix. The condition card must be played when fielding the Red Sox clix.
Battlefield Condition: when the Boston Red Sox have victory within their grasp, your Sox clix turns into Bill Buckner. Regardless of the result of the dice roll, treat all results as critical misses, and treat all oppenent’s dice rolls as critical hits.

Hmmm...
If the Red Sox were a heroclix fig...
It would have to be long haired and bearded fig, to represent the present look of the Red Sox...
It would have to have a dial that comes on strong, fades, and returns to strenght, to represent their performance in the playoffs...
Hmmm...
If they pull it off tonight, I'm going with Ult Thor.

Like Judge Death.
Or I could be mean & suggest the Con Artist because, ...um..um..they perplex their fans.

They would be Deadpool! I was the one who earlier sad something really horrible about them but man, they have regeneration like it ain't nobodies business!!!!
I don't really like baseball, but since i was born and raised in New York, i was rooting for the Bronx Bombers, but I gotta tell you, I really don't care who wins.
So all you Sox fans out there, may the curse of the Bambino die in 2004! or not... :devious:

Like I said fellas...Galactus.
The Sox are playin' with the Yankee fans...it's their turn to put up with agonizing disappointment (Good chance you won't hear from me at all tomorrow if they lose btw;) ).

I don't really think a dial exist of this, but I think a dial should be created just for the Bo Sox.
1st click:
OK numbers, no powers
2nd click:
Little better numbers, maybe toughness
3rd click:
better numbers, toughness
4th click:
terrible numbers (charge click type), maybe two powers
5th click:
numbers go up a little, one power
6th click:
numbers plumit again, no powers
7th click:
numbers go up dramatically, 2 powers
8th click:
numbers go up a little, same powers
9th click:
Attack rises, Defense falls, same powers
10th click:
Attack falls, Defense rises, same powers
11th click:
Same as first click.
Don't really know what powers to have, but I definitley like the Battlefield Condition card

Ah, but what comes after that second wind for Ult. Thor? That's right - KO. Personally, I think it'll be fun to play "spot the Buckner". I know that butterfingers Jeter seems committed to claiming the post-season error record, but I'm sure that someone on the Sox will come through in the clutch. My money's on an RBI walk or wild pitch...
(in this series playoff)
Hulk.
A huge comeback fig!
