I've recently gotten some comics I'm thinking have done by CGC. Just wanting to see if anyone has any comments about this.

I'd only do it to comics valued in the hundreds of dollars (low hundreds is fine) at least, and I'd get someone who knows comics well to vouch for its condition as a second opinion as it's obviously not worth doing if the comics are in bad condition.

My friend sent in a copy of Hulk 181 he purchased for $800 at a convention and it came back as a 9.4. (Worth about twice what he paid for it.) So in his case it worked out great!

These are the ones I'm looking at getting done:
Batman/Superman #1 rrp variant*
Wolverine #20 dealer incentive variant

and I'm working on getting, hoping to have by the end of the month.
Astonishing X-Men #1 dealer incentive variant
Superman #204 rrp variant*
Identity Crisis #1 rrp variant *
Batman #608 rrp variant *

Do think they would be worth getting done? The ones with the * by them I'm sure it's a good idea.

Sweet about your friend and the Hulk #181. That's one I'm going for in a year or so.

I think if your book is significant, rare or old and in nice shape, you should CGC it. Make sure you're finished with everything except the cover, cause you'll never get to read it again(talking about the older ones, newer ones you can get another copy at a fairly reasonable price). I'm waiting until I have 10 that I believe are worth having done before i send them and I'm up to 6.(One being the Ultimate Spidey White I posted about on your other thread). I think your dealer incentive wolvie is a good candidate as well, if it's in great shape, but remember, with all of them you should be super-critical in your appraisal of their condition before submitting them. If not you will be very disappointed in how much you had to spend vs how much value was added to your collection.
