AFTERMATH! Defex #!

i tried the new MarvWolfman book DEFEX published by Devil'sDue imprint AFTERMATH. i thought it was a good read, the art was solid, and im lookin' forward to issue 2. along w/ Wolfman they have ChuckDixon, JoeCasey, and RonMarz. im tryin' all the titles 'cause those are most of my favorite writers. i think these are some books worth checkin' out. a lil' FYI. just read ChuckDixon's Breakdown, and liked it as well. the story was solid. the art though could use some help. i have always wondered what would happen if a publicly known super hero would get attacked on the personal level. this book answers that. IMO another book worth checkin' out.

just finished the rest of AFTERMATH's lineup and am quite please. Infantry #1 by Casey was awesome and Breakdown #2 & Defex #2 were also good Blade of Kumori by Marz is slow startin', but #2 just came out so i'll see where its goin'. all and all some good reads commin' out of Devil'sDue.

I picked up Breakdown #1 and 2 and Infantry 1 last week and I am impressed. infantry looks like it could be very, very good and Breakdown certianly has an interesting concept at it started rather fast paced. Blade of Kumori didn't interest me and I didn't really think Defex looked all that great, maybe I'll pick it up next week though.
