Well, it's on issue #5! What do you all think of this great comic? I really like the ending of #5.
LMK!

Best book of the year.
It beats Identity Crisis hands down. It simple bends the rules of comics.
I can't wait for the movie

It is better then Identity Crisis, it takes it to the next extreme. The movie will rock! It is one of the best comics I've read yet.

I think Wanted is a great book it is a cool story! I think Millar goes a little overboard with the language sometimes but I love just about anything he writes.
I didn't know they were making a movie, who's gonna be in it?

If you think the language is bad try reading one of Marvels MAX titles. The Punisher is pretty stupid with some of the comments, it's just for shock value. Supreme Power is awesome though!
I don't know much abou the movie just that it's going around it's in the making.

And you say this comparing it too Wanted?
Have you READ either book?
Really, I have found Wanted to be enjoyable, but I have a sinking feeling I figured out the ending by the time I had finished #2(Wesley has to bring back the Super Heros in some way in order to a) save his butt, and b) give his life as a supervilain menaing)
But I really hope Millar hasn't telegraphed his punch that badly...
But the Punisher is 'stupid' and 'just for shock value'?
The whole series of Wanted is about shock. That's the sum total of the point of the book! It's the insane, angry, PO'd adolescent response to being given power. Wesley is finally starting to realize that there is actually more to life than ####, murder and mayhem. Not to say he is or could ever become a good guy, the the extreme is the entire point of Wanted. The Punisher in Ennis' hands is actually a far deeper psychological piece.
Wanted is fun, but the Punisher is a better read.
And the ending of 5? Saw it coming a mile away. Really, the shock is the only thing Wanted has going for it. But I'm not gonna say that's a bad thing.
However, you like Supreme Power, so I am content to agree to disagree with you. ;)

As far as a Wanted movie, it's not 'in the making'. It's been optioned. Meaning it will be a few years, if ever, before we see it. And Eminem is NOT interested in doing it at all.....

I like Punisher and I do read them both. Great books.
This is what I meant about Punisher being stupid. The first few issues of the MAX run had stupid comments about his "tool", getting wet, and others I can't bring to mind right now. What the heck did that have to do with the book?! I just felt they were trying to shock readers with the use of language.
I agree one of the things Wanted has going for it is the shock value. But it runs throught the entire book and it fits with the rest of the book. I do think it has a heck of a lot more going for it then the shock value.
I guessed the good guys had to come back as well. Thought the Killer might turn out to be one. Who knows?
You can't imagine how glad I am that Eminem isn't interested in the part. He's way over rated.
Glad to see someone else likes Supreme Power!:devious:
