Cable's X-men

I am writting this and am posting it on another site. I saw this site had a fanfic page and thought I would post it here as well I hope you all like.

Cable knew that he did not have much time. He worked as fast as he could to complete the machine needed to win this war. His agents of The Mutant Freedom Army had stolen the parts needed now they were fighting for their lives outside against overwhelming forces to give him the time to finish. Cable stood up. He was finished at last. He grabbed the control panel fron the floor and got ready to activate the machine. Just then he heard a loud explosion behind him. He turned around and saw the doors to his lab blown open and a body laying on the floor. The man had his chest blown open and was dying Cable ran to him. When he looked down he was horrified to see his father Cyclops laying there
" Father, oh god father." Cable held him as the man died. Cable heard another man walk in a looked up. Standing there with an evil grin on his face was Bishop the head of this attacking force and the man who just killed his father. Anger was building inside of Cable just looking at the man.
" You have killed to many mutants Bishop, now I am going to avenge them." Cable stood and faced Bishop
" You are a fool Cable to think you could have beaten us. Your army is dead and your plan failed."
" Cable, my son don't risk the mission. Get to the machine avenge me by finishing what we started."
" Shut up fool!" Bishop yelled as he shot the dying Cyclops in the head. " Now where were we Cable?" When Bishop looked back to where Cable was standing he saw that he had a small object in his hand. The controls for the device or that what Bishop thought it was until Cable threw it at him. Bishop jumped out of the way as the object hit the ground at his feet and exploded. The shock wave threw Bishop into the wall where he fell in a daze. Cable ran onto a platform by the machine and hit a button. In a blinding flash of light Cable had disappeared. Bishop stood up slowly, he had taken his eyes off Cable for only a second and had paid for it.
" Self destruct in 35 seconds." Bishop heard a computer voice say. He ran for the door and up a set of stairs to the outside. He heard explosions behind him and once again the shock wave threw him away. A few minutes later he stood up and looked back at the compound it was now a pile of rubble and many of his men lay inside dead. Things had gone very wrong for Bishop and he was sure his boss would make him pay for it.

Cable looked around the alley that he was now standing in. he looked down at a newspaper at his feet and checked the date on it. The date was June 14th 1992. He had done it he had gone back 30 years to the past. Now he can complete his mission and he would make Charles Xavier pay for his crimes..

Bishop stood in front of a large metal door and placed his hand on a small scanner.
" Identity conformed. Mutant A10 Bishop." The computer voice said as the large door slid open and he stepped inside. After walking a few feet down a large hallway he stopped and looked outside of a window. He looked down at the large open air hold pens for the human slaves waiting to be sold to mutant masters that would do with them as they pleased. Some would be sold as workers, or to be hunted down for sport. Bishop saw a separate cell for the woman they would be sold off as comfort women and breeders to make more human slaves. That was the great thing about living in a world run by Charles Xavier no humans had any rights. When the great war between the mutants adn humans started 20 years ago Xavier rounded up all the humans that would not join his cause and put them into pens for slaves. Most however were killed. Soon after he took over America he launched many of the nuclear weapons at the major cities of the world. The world attacked back with their nuclear weapons. Thinking that they had killed Xavier and his followers they moved ground troops in. Xavier had moved all his mutants onto his hidden base Asteroid M saving all of his mutants from death. It was easy for his troops to kill off the humans. He than took over Europe, Africa and most of Asia. Now only small pockets of human fighters where left free. Now mutant leaders rule over rebuilt cities and countries under the rule of Charles Xavier. Bishop started to walk again he had to report to Xavier. He had put it off long enough. Besides the man could read minds he probably knew everything that happened at Cable's compound.
" That is right Bishop I do. Now get up hear to my office so we could talk about this." Said a voice inside of Bishops's mind. He hated it when he did that he could never get used to having someone in his head. He walked to an elevator and steped inside. He placed his key card in the slot and pushed the button to Xavier's office. One of the security measures taken by Xavier was that you needed a key card to get to just about every place in the building.. Bishop stepped off of the elevator and into a small room. There was a man sitting behind a desk.
" Master Xavier is waiting for you sir." Bishop walked past the man. He was one of Xavier's human trustees. A man that did not fight Xavier he just gave up right away. The man was a coward he made Bishop sick. He walked in to Xavier’s office and saw him sitting behind his desk in his wheelchair. There were two other people in the room as well. Standing to his left was his wife Jean Grey a 5 foot 7 inch tall redhead with the power to read people’s minds and she can move things with her mind. To the right was the head of Xavier’s security forces Logan or as he liked to be call Wolverine. He was shorter than Jean standing only 5 foot 5 inches. Despite his small size he was one of the most deadly people Bishop had ever met. He had three different one foot long claws that extend from his wrists. Bishop looked at Xavier as he started to speak.
“ So Cable is gone and time machine has been destroyed?” Bishop did not know why Xavier had asked the question because he already knew the answer.
“ Yes sir, but we did kill what was left of his team so where ever he went he went alone.”
“ That is small comfort Bishop he will no doubt get a new team where ever he goes. The only good thing about this whole mess was that you did kill that traitor Cyclops.”
“ You should have sent me Chuck I would not have failed you like this fool has.” Logan said
“ If I remember right Wolverine Cable beat you good a few months ago.” Bishop snapped. He did not like Logan and he hated to hear try and put him down.
“ That is enough both of you! Fighting each other with each other will not solve are problems.” Xavier had always stepped in when ever the two men snapped back and forth at each other, Bishop just wanted to kill Logan and one day he knew he would get the chance. “ Bishop I want you to come with me to the sub-basement.” Bishop followed Xavier as Jean pushed his chair out of the room
“ What is in the sub-basement sir?” Bishop asked
“ Something that may be able to help us fix this mess of yours.” Xavier replied dryly. Bishop looked over at Logan who had a smile on his face. What ever was going to happen in the next few minutes Bishop did not think he was going to like it.

Cable stood inside of an old farmhouse in upstate New York. He had first heard about this 2 years ago form a disk stolen form one of Xavier’s computers. It did not look like much on the outside, but on the inside there was enough living space for 15 people, and underground computer rooms and traning rooms. This place was a dream of a mutant named Magneto. A place for mutants to come and understand their powers and learn to cope with them. His dream however never happened, Magneto was killed by Xavier before he could make it happen. Xavier paid the price in that battle. After Cable fixed this place up it would serve him well. Stopping Xavier was only part of his plain he would also stay behind and train other mutants and make sure that any evil in the world would be stopped by Cable and his X-Men. The X-men name came form Magneto.
“ Rest easy Magneto your dream of mutants and humans living in peace will happen. The world I cam from will not happen. I will see to that.”

Bishop stepped out of the elevator and into a large room filled with computers and workers running around. He had never been to the sub-basement. He had heard rumors of the underground lab where Xavier did his experiments on humans and mutants. He never believed that the lab was right under his nose.
“ What is all this?” Bishop asked
“ That’s right you have never been here. This is where you will fix you problem.” As Bishop walked forward he saw a platform like the one that Cable disappeared on. He looked up and saw a large man walk up to them. He was covered in blue fur and Bishop knew it must be the Beast. Bishop had heard about this mutant form time to time. He was once a great doctor with a promising career before Xavier came to him and asked him to join his side. Beast or hank McCoy which was his name at the time had said no. Xavier hated to be turned down and in his rage he wiped McCoy’s mind clean leaving only the skills he would need to serve. He had also been victim to Xavier’s gene splicing giving Beast his animal look. A grim reminder of what happened when you say so no to Xavier.
“ Everything is ready sir.” Beast informed them. Bishop and Xavier followed him to the platform that Bishop was looking at.
“ How is this possible? I thought Cable destroyed his machine.”
“ He did Bishop but he was not the only one with a time machine.” Xavier told him “ After I heard about Cable’s plain I had Beast and Forge build one for us.”
“ How did you find out? I thought that Cable had devices that blocked your mental scans.”
“ He does but when you have one of his men in an interrogation room with Mr. Logan they talk.”
“ May I ask who this person was that talked?”
“ Yes Mr. Bishop it was Spider-man. He held out for awhile from what I understand but Logan loves a challenge.” Bishop was shocked he thought Spider-man was killed in a battle about a year ago.
“ With this machine you will go back in time ans stop Cable, and if you get the chance you will kill cyclops as well.” Xavier ordered Bishop.
“ You know where he went in the past?”
“ Yes Forge tracked his temporal shift. He went back 25 years. Back when I formed my original Brotherhood team. He means to set up his own team and stop me there.”
“ Should I seek you out in the past sir?”
“ Yes I will leave a message for my past self in your mind detailing your mission to me.” Xavier placed his hands on Bishops head and placed his message. Bishop stepped onto the platform and Beast pushed the start up button. Three seconds later Bishop disappeared into the past. Xavier heard Wolverine walk up behind him.
“ You should have sent me Chuck, Bishop is a weak fool, I don’t want to leave my fate up to him.”
“ Relax Logan Bishop knows what is at stake here . I don’t think he will fail. Besides if he does we will not be around long enough to know about it.” A smile worked itself onto Xavier’s face. No matter what the outcome was he had taken steps to ensure that he would survive the madness that was happening in the past.

Cable stood in one of the computer chambers underground the farmhouse. He had worked the past 8 hours to get the computers back on line. He had uploaded some data disks that he had hidden in a small compartment of his metal arm. Most of the computers were up and running. He had also spent another 3 hours working on the cars that were in the garage. Now that the base was in somewhat working order he need to get his team together. He walked over to a machine that he had spent a good time working on, a machine that would help him find the mutants he needs to help him. With the limited power the machine had it only had a small range so he decided to look for the one mutant that he knew would be close by.

Spider-man landed on a roof over looking a small alley. He watched as two men slowly walk out of a back door of a small store. The store must not have an alarm because one had not gone of. Spider-man lept down from the roof and landed in front of the two men. Both men looked at him in surprise. The two men held up guns at Spider-man Spider-man shot out webbing from his hands and grabbed the guns from the would be robbers hands. One of the men threw a punch, Spider-man docked it with ease and hit the man with a sharp upper cut putting him down. The second man turned and started to run. Spider-man was about to jump after him when a blinding flash stopped him. When Spider-man looked up he saw a very large man standing there. The man was 6 foot 8 inches about 250 pounds, had white hair and a metal arm.
“ Who are you?” Spider-man asked
“ My name is Cable and I have come for you.” Spider-man tensed up at the sound of that. He was think that the man had come to fight him. He had never taken on more than small time hoods and a very old bird man who called him self The Vulture. This was going to be tough.
“ Relax Spider-man I am not here to fight you. I came here because I need you help.”
“ Help with what?”
“ Help in stopping the greatest threat to man kind. Charles Xavier.”
“ Ha just what I though a nut job. Charles Xavier is a great man, one of the best minds on the planet. Not even a parking ticket. That man is no more a threat to me than that punk you let get away.”
“ If that is true than why did your Spider-Sense do crazy when he came to you and asked you to join him?”
“ How did you know that.?”
“ You told me ten years form now when you joined my army to free mankind from his evil.”
“ What? Ten years. I don’t understand.” Cable walked over to Spider-man and grabbed his arm.
“ You will my friend. I will show you everything. Computer body slide two to hq.” In a blinding flash they were gone.

A large man sat behind a desk watching a group of monitors. Each one showed a different time line and world. It was his job to watch each one and make sure that each time line remained intact. One monitor however was growing darker, something was happening to wipe this time line clean. Never before has a time line been lost in his watch and it would not happen now He was Umbrui. Head of the Watchers of Time and he would see to it that he would not lose one now.

Bishop walked down the street in Mid town New York. He was told that Xavier owned a penthouse apartment in this part of town. Cable had a head start on him so he needed to hurry. He saw the building he was looking for and walked up to the door. A small man walked over to him.
“ Can I help you sir?” he asked.
“ I am here to see Xavier. Tell me what floor he is on.” Bishop demanded The man looked up at him. Bishop knew that the man would never let a 6 foot 6 250 pound black man with a tattoo of an m over his right eye into an upscale building like this.
“ The professor is not in at the moment but I will give him any message you want to leave.”
“ I will not leave ant message I will see him now!” Bishop picked up the man with one arm.
“ Put him down now!” a man behind him yelled. Bishop knew right away the voice belonged to Cyclops. Bishop put the man down and turned around, standing there was Jean Grey Cyclops and Xavier in his wheelchair.
“ I have come a long way to see you Xavier Sir. I have a message only for you.”
“ Well it seems you have drawn a crowd with your little display. Let us move this inside.” Xavier said to Bishop. The four people went inside and up to Xavier’s penthouse.

Xavier sat in his study alone with Bishop probing his mind for the message the future self had left for him. He removed his hands from the sides of Bishop’s head.
“ So it would seem that in the future I was able to talk the world. The only problem is Cyclops betraying me.”
“ That is why he should be killed now.”
“ No. He will not turn on me for a couple years yet. I will use him to help me kill his own son than kill him.” Xavier called in Jean and Cyclops
“ My students it appears that a man has come from the future to stop our little plans. His name is Cable. I will not allow him to stop us. Scott call in the rest of The Brotherhood and tell them to meet us at my Westchester mansion.”

“ Let me get this right 20 years from now I join you in a fight agaist Xavier?” Spider-man asked
“ That’s right you were one of the first to join with me.” Cable replied
“ I’m guessing we did not fair so well if you had to come back here to fight him.”
“ No we did not. Tell me what you know about The Brotherhood?”
“ A mutant terrorist group that started about 6 months ago. They claim to want to help mutants by attcking normal humans. They tried to kill Senator Kelly before he could run for president. The Avengers stopped them”
“ Who is in The Brotherhood right now?”
“ Mutants named Blob, Pyro, Colossus, Wolverwine and their leader is a kid named Joseph.”
“ Joseph, I did not think he jioned yet.”
“ I thought you came from the future how do you not know this?”
“ Many records are gone in the future. “ Cable walked over to a computer, flipped a switch and a large map popped up
“ What is that thing for?”
“ This is a computer that will help me find mutants that I need to help me battle Xavier.” Cable looked at the map “ Blast I can’t find him.”
“ Who?”
“ Joseph if I can get him on my, Wait a minute. There is a part of New York that is blocked to me. Only Xavier has the power to block this machine.”
“ Why is that?”
“ He helped Magneato build it. Magneato stole it, and hid it away when he learned of Xavier’s plan.” Cable turned off the computer. “ Joseph is his son. I hope to turn him to our side when he learns that Xavier killed his father.”
“ Now that we know where they are what are we going to do?”
“ We? does that mean you will jion up?”
“ Yes I’m onboard.”
“ Good. Before we attack we need more team members.”
“ When and where?”
Cable brought up a map of Africa. “ Here, there is a mutant here with a power that will come in handy.”

Bishop stood in the front room of Xavier’s Westchester mansion. He could not believe his eyes. He was standing in the same room as many of the heroes he heard of growning up. Blob, Pryo, Colossus , Wolverine,and Joseph. Jean Grey and Cyclops are their as well but they are not part of the fighting team. They are the two people that Xavier introduced at different events as part of his public image to help further the mutant cause. Cyclops pushed Xavier’s wheelchair into the room
“ Team I have a mission for you.” He said to the group in the room. “ A man named Cable is putting together a team to stop The Brotherhood from taking over the world.”
“ Like The Avengers?” Asked the Blob
“ Not like them. They stopped the team once last year when we tried to kill Kelly. The worst part about this Cable fellow is that he knows that I lead The Brotherhood.” Xavier continued.
“ And when do we go after this man. And who is that man standing over there?” asked Pryo pointing at Bishop.
“ This man is Bishop. He is the one that told me about Cable and his plan. In fact for the rest of this mission he will lead The Brotherhood.” Joseph who had been sitting on a chair listening to Xavier speak spoke up at this point.
“ No” Was all he said
“ What did you say to me?” Xavier looked at him
“ I said no. First off you bring a man in here that none of us has even seen before. And then you tell us that he is now in charge. I have lead this team from the time it was formed two years ago. I am not handing it over to someone I don’t even trust.” Joseph stood up from his chair and walked over to Bishop
“ You are not getting this team. I don’t care, Arghhhh!” Joseph grabbed his head and dropped to the ground
“ You will do as I say. I trust him and have seen that he has told me the truth. He will lead this team and you will listen to me. Is that clear?!” Xavier was using his mind to inflict pain into the mind of Joseph. Wolverwine laughed at this. He loved seeing the son of Magneto brought down a peg
“ Yes sir I understand.”
“ Good. You may stand up now.” Xavier released his hold on Joseph “ Now listen why I tell you what I want you to do. Bishop I want you to take Blob and Pryo and Colossus to Africa I tracked Cable and Spider-man heading there after leaving the safety of the farm house Magneto built years ago.”
“ Why to Africa?” Bishop asked
“ I don’t know. I was hoping you could tell me.”
“ Well, one of Cable’s mutant soldiers named Storm came from Africa. He could be trying to get his team together.”
“ Well you go stop them. Kill them all.”
“ What about me Sir?” asked Joseph
“ You stay here with Cyclops and Jean just in case someone comes here.” Joseph looked upset but he did not say anything about it. The men left the mansion and took off for Africa
“ What about me Chuck?” Asked Wolverwine
“ Its seems to me Logan that Parker has chosen a side despite the fact he told me he would not get involved. I want you to head to his house and show him he joined the wrong team.”
“ Gladly Chuck.” Wolverwine smiled as he popped out his claws.

Umbrui sat at his desk watching the monitor. It was very troubling to him to watch this time line fade away. But the one thing that he found even more so is that no matter how dark the future became one man stayed in the light. Xavier had some how found a way to take himself out of the time line, so that even if Cable was able to rewrite history he would stay untouched. It was bad enough that these men were toying with the timelines, but for Xavier to take himself out of the time line so he did not have to deal with the after effect was awful. He heard footsteps behind him and he turned to see who it was. It was a fellow Watcher of Time Uhtu.
“ Sir, it would apper that you were correct. Both men have made contact and are tring to change the time line in their favor.”
“ Yes they are. As soon as the harelds get back infrom me.”
“ Are you sending them to stop this?”
“ I have to. I will not lose this time line.”
“ Well sir Firelord has returned.”
“ Good. Bring him to me I will send him on his way.” Uhtu left the room to get Firelord. He should be able to handle Xavier and his men in the future. Cable and Bishop in the past will be delt with by the greast hareld of all, The Siver Surfer..

A small jet plane landed in a large clearing outside of a small village in Africa. Cable and Spider-man got out of the plane.
“ Maybe I should have left the mask at home.” Mused Spider-man
“ Take it off, It’s not like anyone will know who you are all the way out here.” Spider-man reached up and took off his mask
“ That feels better.”
“ I have no idea why you wear that foolish thing anyway.”
“ Not everyone is from the future like you are. I have family here to protect.” Cable and Spider-man walked into the village, people stopped and looked at them. One man holding a spear walked over to the two men.
“ What do you want here strangers?” He demanded Cable stepped forward
“ We have come to talk to Storm.”
“ We have no one here of that name.”
“ Great Cable I spent hours on that cramoed plane and you took us to the wrong place. I would not be so mad if we had a better inflight movie.” Spider-man joked. Cable rolled his eyes at the comment
“ You do have her here I’m sure of it.” Cable said
“ Wait we do have her here!” Yelled a youth from the back of the crowd that had grathered
“ You do?” Asked Spider-man
“ Yes a man came her today looking for her. We call her Godess though.”
“ Another man who was it?” Cable sounded worried
“ A dark skined man like myself. Had a strange marking above his right eye. He had others with him funny men in costume.”
“ Where did they go! Tell me!” Cable yelled. The youth looked scared at this raise in voice.
“ The hillside. She lives at the base. They went there.” Cable looked over and saw where he was talking about. He started running toward the base of the hill.
“ What’s wrong?” asked Spider-man as he ran after Cable
“ The Brotherhood is here. We have to get to Storm she may be in trouble.” He left out that Bishop was there, Cable was not sure how though. He may be able to stop the Brotherhood here and now and kill Bishop. Somehow though he knew it would not be that easy.

Wolverwine stood outside of the back door of the Parker home, it was time to teach Peter a lesson on what it means to say no to Xavier. He sniffed the air, his enhacned sense of smell told him that only Ben Parker, Peter’s uncle was home. Wolcerwine poped out his claws and cut though the lock of the back door,and walked inside. He was in the kitchen he knew that though the closed door in the living room was Ben. He started walking and as he stepped down a lose floor board made a creaking noise.
“ Peter is that you?” Wolverwine heard form the other room
“ Great he heard me.” He thought to himself. He heard Ben get out of his chair and begain to walk into the kitchen. Wolverwine backed up agaist the wall on the side of the door so that when it opened he would not be seen. Ben walked into the kitchen and turned on the light. Wolverine walked up behind him and grabbed him by the shoulded and drove his claws into his back at chest level.
“ ARGGGG!” Ben screamed in pain. Wolverine removed hin claws and Ben fell to the floor dying.
“ That is for your nephew turning down The Brotherhood.” Wolverwine spat on Ben’s body. He walked into the other room and sat down on a chair in the living room and turned on the t.v. He hoped that old bat aunt of his came home soon he did not want to be here that long. It did not really matter Chuck wanted this Parker kid to pay and pay he will.

Bishop stood at the base of the hill where he was told Storm lived. After a quick look around the small house that was there and saw that it was empty.
" Pryo, burn it down." He ordered. Pryo stepped forward and raised his arms. He had two small flame throwers attached to his wrists.he fired and two jets of flames shot out and stopped a few feet from the house. Thanks to his mutant power he could control any fire that he saw. He could not make it, but he could control it. The two jets mearged with each other and flew to the top of the house and stopped. They formed the shape of a bird and flew right down onto the roof and the building quickly brust into the flames.
" Stop showing off will you. We came here to kill this Storm person not make a show for the locals." Bishop snapped. Colossus stepped forward,
" What do we do now?"
" Now we go to the village and kill everyone there." Bishop repiled
" You will have to get through us first Bishop!" Bishop turned around and saw Cable and the now masked Spider-man standing about 50 yards away.
" Well Brotherhood there is the man who has been sent here to stop us. Let's do Master Xavier proud." Said Bishop. Colossus turned into his metal form, and Blob and Pryo lined up next to him ready for the upcomming battle.

" Bishop is mine Spider-man!" Cable yelled as he ran off
" Wait! I can't take on all three of them on my own."
" You will not have to just hang on a few minutes." Spider-man did not know what he ment, but he did know that three members of the Brotherhood were wlking to him. Pryo fired off two jets of flame at Spider-man who jumped out of the way and right in front of the metal form of Colossus.
" I'm going to crush you bug boy." He punched down and Spider-man jumped back and Colossus hit the hard ground. Bits of dirt came flying into his face.
" The name is Spider-man." Spider-man said as he punched the chin of Colossus. " Owww! Holy **** I think I broke my hand." Pryo used this chance to fire at him once again, and once again Spider-man jumped out of the way. The flames hit Colossus and engolfed him.
" You fool! Hit the Spider-man not me." Spider-man landed behind him and was barely able to plant his feet before The Blob punched him in the back of the head. Spider-man flew into the ground hard. Colossus walked over to him
" You dare hit me. For that you will pay with your life." Spider-man could not move let alone put up a fight as Colossus reached down to grab him. A blinding flash of light lit up the sky and hit Colossus in the chest
" Arggg!" Colossus flew into the side of the hill that than fell down on top of him. Spider-man felt a gust of wind pick him up and put him on his feet.
" I'm guessing your Storm."
" We can get to know each other later. For now we have others to stop."
" Right." Spider-man lifted his hands and sprayed out webs clogging Pryo's flame throwers
" Nooo! My flames." Spider-man jumped over and punched Pryo in the jaw knocking him out.
" What about the fat man?"
" Leave him to me masked man." Storm said.
" Right bring it on little lady. You can not move the Blob." He stood there waiting for Storm to make her move.
" I may not be able to but my winds will." The Blob felt the winds starting to pick up
" Is that all you have got. HA HA HA!" Just as the Blob finished his taunt a funnel came out of the skies and pick him up.
" Hye let me down!" His cries were drowned out by the sound of the wind. As quick as it came the funnel went, and as it dissapeared it threw The Blob into the Colossus just as he was able to dig himself out the the rubble pile he was trapped in. They both fell to the ground. Colossus turned back to his human form.
" And that's that." Spider-man looked over at Cable who was still fighting with Bishop. Spider-man ran over to help his new teamate, than he was going to beat him for leaving him alone.

Cable ran at Bishop at full speed. Spider-man was right he could not take on three men alone, but he would not have to. Using his cybernetic eye he saw Storm flying to tham fast about a mile or so away. Hs ewould help, he hoped. Bishop fired energy blasts from his hands at Cable. He jumped out of the way. He forgot about Bishop's power to fire stored energy though his hands.
" I don't know how you got back here, but I'll make sure you never get back."
" Fool you think you were the only one that had a time machine."
" I'm getiing a team together, there is no way you can win this."
" Thanks to me Xavier knows of your plans to stop him. I'll kill you just as I did you your father. Who by the way works for us." Cable lept at him in a fit of rage. Bishop fired a blast at his chest and hit him. He fell to the ground. Bishop walked over and stood above him. Bishop smiled as his hands begain to grow. Cable opened his eyes and kicked Bishop's legs out from under him. Before Bishop could recover cable jumped on top of him and punched his chest many times with his metal arm. He felt ribs snap with each punch.
" You are a dead. I'll beat you with my bare hands." Bishop fired one last blast at Cable making him off balance enough to kick him off to jump away. He looked around and saw that his team had been beaten and Storm and Spider-man were running towards them.
" I have to retreat, I just hope this Xavier is more forgiving than the one I know." Bishop started to run to the plane he had come in
" Next time Cable, next time."

The Sliver Surfer stepped down off the transporter platform of The Watcher's Tower and saw on of The Watchers waiting for him
" The master wants to speak with you it is of great itportance."
" Yes sir I shall go at once." The Surfer begain to walk down the hall of the tower to Umbrui's chamber. He saw his master sitting there watching the monitors as he always did
" You sent for me my lord."
" Yes Surfer. First I want to tell you good job on stoping Reed Richards and his Frightful Four from killing Von Doom in the past so he could not create the Fanstic Four." Umbrui said to him.
" It was you will that he be stopped my lord. And where you lead I follow."
" Now it seems Surfer that we have a new group that wish to change time."
" Point them out my master and they will be delt with."
" Here is the first on his name is Cable." he brought up a picture of Cable on oneof the monitors " And the other one is called Bishop."
" What are they trying to do?" Silver Surfer asked
" The man Cable is trying to kill a man named Xavier so that his future does not happen. Bishop is trying to stop him, but along the way kill a man named Cyclops so Cable will never rise up to try and fight Xavier."
" What has this Xavier done. Why is Cable trying to kill him."
" It does not matter. You are to stop them and allow the timeline to proceed. Bring both men here so I can mind wipe them and send them back."
" What of Firelord?"
" He has been sent to this timelines future to deal with another problem. You will be on your own. Do not change the timeline by killing anyone. Just bring them here."
" Yes my lord. I will leave right away." Sliver Surfer left the chamber and begain to walk to the transporter pad to leave once again. He wished that his master told him why the men were trying to change time, but as it has been pointed out before he was only to obey not to ask. That is however the deal that saved his world all those years ago.

Spider-man, Cable, and Storm all sat in the small jet on the way home to New York. Strom had agreed to come along and help stop The Brotherhood with them after the fight in Africa. Now the team was up to three and Cable had said that more were going to join up. He passed out a small folder to Storm and Spider-Man.
" Who is thos?" Storm asked
" This is Quicksilver. A mutant that right now works with the Avengers. He is also the son of Magneato."
" Man that guy gets around. I have worked with him before about two months ago, I ever knew he was a mutant." spider-Man added
" I have already talked to him. He will be joining us in a couple of days. I talked to him befopre I tracked you two down. With his help I can get Joseph on our side."
" We have already beaten The Brotherhood with ease. Why do we even need him? " Storm asked
" Not all of The Brotherhood was there. And besides now that they know of our plans they will fight back that much harder. We all have to be on gaurd. Paker now that they know you are involved you should not go home."
" Why is that?"
" Xavier may come after you there. It would not be safe." Spider-Man jumped up at hearing this
" I have to go home. If they come than my uncle and aunt are in danger." Cable said nothing at first than turned the plane as quick as he could toward the city
" We have to get back there now"
" What's wrong?" Storm asked
" Woverwine was not with The Brotherhood in Africa even though he was part of the team. And Peter said he told Xavier no to joining him a few months ago."
" So. Is that bad?" Storm did not yet understand the problem
" Yes Xavier has was of making people pay who turn him down. The Parkers are in grave danger." Peter sat back down in his seat
" get me there as fast as you can." He ordered Cable, but deep down he know what they would find.

Logan walked into the study of Xavier's mansion smoking a foul smelling cigar.
" Logan put that thing out, you know I don't allow smoking in here." Logan put it out in an ashtry Xavier had on his desk
" Did you get the job done." Xavier asked
" The old bat took awhile getting home, but I got them. Paker is going to have a rough time when he gets back."
" Good. He needs to learn his place. Soon all those who do not join us will die. As soon as Bishop gets back we can get the rest of Cable's team one by one."
" At least we got this Storm chick."
" No we did not. Bishop and his team failed."
" I knew you should have sent me and not the B team after tham."
" Well for the most part they are young Logan. Not all of them were part of my Weapon X progarm like you."
" Maybe not, But now Cable has three on his team. You have to teach tham a lesson."
" I will. When they get back they will learn what it means to fail me."
" Good Who you want me to off?" Logan let hs claws come out. He was never as happy as he was when he had just killed or was about to kill. That is what made Xavier look at him for his Weapon X program. The greastest known killing machine and he was Xaver's to do with as he wanted. That suited Logan fine, he got to kill. And if Xavier ever stepped out of line he would handle him as well.
" We will get Cyclops." Xavier went on to say
" Why he was not even there?"
" Yes but he is the father of Cable in the future. By killing him we get rid of both. And without a leader the other two will fall. Two birds one stone, Mr. Logan." Logan smiled at that. He hated Cyclops. And with him out of the way he could have Jean all to himself.
" This was turning into a good day." Logan thought to himself with a smile

Cyclops put down the headset that he had been listening to. He was now glad that he placed that bug in Xavier's study. From the moment Xaver had meet with Bishop things have changed a great deal. Xaver put Bishop in charge over Joseph and he was becomming more cold to Jean and himself. Now he learned that not only was Cable his son, but they were going to kill him for it. He wondered if he should tell Jean then thought better of it. He had to plan fast and the less people that knew about what he was going to do the safer it wold be. He had to act fast if he was going to turn this around and kill Xavier himself.

Peter knelt down over the bodies of his aunt and uncle. He saw that his uncle had been stabed in the chest and his aunt had her head cut off. He sat down on the ground and started to cry, his family who had raised him form the time he was 5 are dead. Dead because he was to busy playing hero to protect them. Cable walked up and put his hand on Peter's shoulder
" I'm sorry for your loss Peter. I wish I could have stopped this." Peter grabbed Cable's arm and threw him into a cabnit that held Aunt May's good dishes/ " Don't tell me how sorry you are. Your family is not lying here dead because of some freak. You were from the future why did you not tell me about this!" Cable stood up and grabbed Pter and slamed him agaist a wall
" Listen to me kid your family is not the first to die by this madmans hands and they will not be the last. The world I come from is full of death. All you can do now is avenge the death of your loved ones."
" I swear that I will kill Woverwine for this."
" He is yours to kill my friend. For now though we have to leave."
" Spider-Man! May, Ben! You killed them!" Peter turned around and saw that the voice belonged to Anna Watson his aunt's good friend. She turned around and ran down the street
" Help me! help Spider-Man has killed my friends!" Cable grabbed Peter's arm

Pryo knew as well as Bishop what happened to people who failed Xavier. The newer members like Colossus, and the Blob were not around the time they got beat by The Avengers. Avalanche was the victim of Xavier's anger on that day. Pryo never really got over it, they were good friends and had grown up together. Who knows who would go this time. They all stood there why Xavier talked about how the team had let him down. Wolverwine had been walking around the room as Xaver talked.
" A lesson must be learned here. This cannot stand." He paused and looked around the room bishop stood up
" Sir this was my mission. I was the one who failed the fault is mine."
" Yes it is." said joseph
" At least he lived up to it. That is more than you have ever done." Pyro said with anger in his voice
" Yes he did. And that is a very honorable thing to do. However Bishop is not in my view to blame here. This is the fault of one man in my view. And that is the father of Cable." Wolverwine walked behind Cyclops. He knew what was about to happen and he did not intend to wait for it. He thrust his elbow back into the face of Wolverwine. He than brought his hand up that controled his visor that held back his deadly optic blasts. Xavier knew what was comming. He had found the bug in his study before he talked to wolverwine that day and after a mind scan he knew of the paln to kill him. He jerked to the right and tipped over his chair. The blast missed hi mand made a hole in the wall behind him. Cyclops's plan had faild. He had to get away. He turned around and blasted wolerwine in the chest ripping it open. He would heal in a minute or so but he would have a headstart to get away. He jumped out of the hole in the wall and tried to grab a branch but it broke and he fell hard to the ground. He felt his right arm and leg brake on the fall. Wolverwine jumped down right next to him
" Chuck is holding the others back. It is just you and me punk." Wolerwine wanted to kill him form day one. Cycolps tried to stand but could not.
" Lokk at you. You can not even fight back you have no chance." Wolerwine jumped at Cyclops but stopped in mid air.
" He has a chance if he has help." Joseph was using his magnetic powers to hold Wolerwine in mid air. He jumped from the hole and floated down to the ground. He took Wolerwine and flung him to the hole blocking it. He than picked up Cyclops and started to leave.

Firelord stepped out of the time portal and looked around. He saw destroyed buildings, and a very dark landscape. He had no idea what part of the world he was in. That was the problem with the time machine, it had a habit of placing Firelord away from the target zone. He flew into the air to look around and try to see where he was at. In the distance he saw three large robots flying his way. Firelord was told what these robots were. They were called Sentinels the robot fighters of Xavier. He did not want to fight the robots, but he saw something that changed his mind. Two people were running as fast as they could from the Sentinels. Firelord knew they did not have much of a chance. One was a child and the other an old man. He flew into the path of the Sentinels. The three robots stopped and looked at him.
“ Unknown super powered being. Sentinel 10-5 engage.” The lead Sentinel ordered The robot broke away from the group and fired a blast from his hand, Firelord ducked it and fire a fireball from his staff hitting the Sentinel’s arm melting it on contact.
“ Sentinal 10-5 damaged. Returning to base.” The robot flew off, leaving two others to fight. Firelord faced one of the other Sentinels.
“ Where did the other one go?” He asked himself. He got his answer in the from of a blast to the back. He fell to the ground. He cursed himself for allowing one of them to get the drop on him. He stood up And fired another flame ball at the Sentinel missing it this time. The Sentinel shot out a steel wire and warped it around Firelord.
“ This can not hold the Firelord!” He yelled as he melted the wire. He flew up and rammed his flame staff into the chest of the Sentinel behind him. He than flew up even higher running his staff though the robots head. He pulled out his staff and the robot fell to the ground. He looked and saw the third one getting ready to make his attack. He would not give it the chance. He dove to the ground and drove his staff into the ground. A large line of flame shot out across the ground and under the Sentinel. A large tower of flame shot out of the ground and blasted the Sentinel into the air. He fell to the ground about a hundred yards away, and exploded. Firelord had no time to rest after his victory. He looked and saw three more robots and about 50 men coming his way.
“ I did not come here to fight all of Xavier’s forces.” He looked an saw that the two people that he wanted to save to get information had left. He flew up into the sky. He would have to get his information somewhere else.

Two men watched as the man of flames flew into the sky. They had just seen him take out three of Xavier’s Sentinels like they where not even there.
“ Sir, the computer can not get a clear reading on his power levels.” The first man had said
“ Aim the gun. Get ready to take him down.” The second man pushed a button on his chair.
“ Ground team get ready to bring him back.” He said
“ Gun aimed and ready to fire sir.”
“ Do it. Fire.” The whole room shook as the gun was fired and a large ray came from the gun. It hit Firelord dead on. Both men watched as Firelord fell to the ground.
“ I’ll be in my chambers. When you have him contact me.” He stood from his chair and walked across the room. Two men who saw him coming moved out of his way and looked down as he pasted by. They were still scared of him. Good. He walked into his chambers and closed the door. He let a smile work it self on his face. He looked at his metal right hand and the smile went away. Years ago he found ten rings that he was going to use to take over the world. But Xavier had beaten him to it. In a battle with Xavier’s men he lost his right hand and the five rings that went with it. Only the power of the five on his left hand had let him keep control of lower Asia. Now if this fire man was as good as he seemed he could at last get his revenge on Xavier and take the world that should have been his. Fate may have given The Mandrain a second chance, and this time he would not fail

Cable sat in the front room of the farmhouse with Storm and Quicksilver. It was the first time in two days that the team had to rest. Cable was very tired. He had spent the last two days fixing up the farmhouse getting it up and ready. Now all the computers are on line, the cars and small jets fixed, and most important the mind blockers that he needed to hide them from Xavier were done. But the best part of the past two days was the fact that his father Cyclops and Joseph both joined him ready to fight Xavier. Quicksilver made that happen. Using his great speed he was able to get past the defenses of Xavier’s Mansion to get the disk holding the proof that Xavier killed Magneato, than when the time came he helped Cyclops when he was being attacked by Wolverwine. Now the two brothers were ready to fight along side each other to avenge their father’s death. But all was not good in the group. Peter had stayed in his room for the past tow days, coming out only to help fix something or move something. He had not spoken much to anyone when he came down. He also did not want anything to do with Cyclops or Joseph. Cable knew that he just needed time and he knew that when the time came he would come through. Joseph ran into the room.
“ The Brotherhood is attacking a small army base in Ohio.” He said
“ What? Why?” Asked Cable
“Xavier need some computer parts for some kind of base he wants to build in an asteroid in space.”
“ Asteroid M. I thought that it was a fake.” Cable said slowly.
“ What?” Asked Storm
“ Asteroid M was the place Xavier was said to have. He hid in there with his people why he launched the nukes at different countries. How long ago did he start this.”
“ He started talking about it 6 months ago.”
“ We can talk about this on the way. We have to stop them.” Storm said as she stood up and walked out of the room.
“ Right.” Cable stood up “ Quicksilver go get Spider-man.” Quicksilver ran out of the room. “Time to go team.”

“ I see that you are awake my friend.” He heard a voice say
“ Who are you?” Firelord demaned
“ I am The Mandrain. Ruler of Asia.”
“ Mandrain. I do not know that name.”
“ What do you remember. About yourself and your mission?” Mandrain asked
“ I can not remember all of it. I know that I must stop Xavier. His machine, a time machine.” Firelord could not remember all of it, only that he had to stop Xavier for some reason.
“ Xavier, Time machine? That’s right my friend we have to stop him.” This was better than Mandrain ever dreamed. Here was a man with much power who could not even remember his own name. All he did seem to remember was some mission to stop Xavier. If he played his cards right he could use that. Firelord stood up and walked over to Mandrain.
“ If you to are fighting to stop Xavier than perhaps we can help each other.” He said
“ I hope so. That madman has killed amny good people, and is one the verge of taking my homeland of Asia for his own.”
“ How have you held him off for so long?”
“ I am one of the last heroes of this world. When Xavier started to take over I freed many people and brought them here to band together to fight with me. I am one of the last ones left.”
“ Trust me Mandrain. Xavier will be stopped and you will have your land back.”
“ Thank you friend.” Mandrain smilled. Soon Xavier would be dead, and this time machine would be his. He would not just be the master of this world but over all of time

Bishop stood watching The Brotherhood loading up crates of computers and weapons. The computers for Astriod M, the weapons are for his small secrect army, with mutants that have very little power and humans that have been paid to fight or ones that Xavier controlled. The small base in Ohio was easy to take. With only 20 people stationed here The Brotherhood ran over them in full force. One of the soldiers was able to push an alram button however, but that was no problem. The computers there had been hacked and the message for help had gone to the computer of Cable’s team. The trap was going as planned. Cable was only expecting to find a small Brotherhood team of 5 people, Bishop, Blob, Pryo, Colossus, and Wolverwine. But in truth Xavier had a small back up force of hand picked mutants trained by Wolverwine. Three very strong mutants. The first was called Unis The Untochable. He is able to create small forcefields around himself making him hard to hit. The second man was called Golith. A former doctor named Henry Pym who worked with Xavier on the Weapon X program. By using the genes of a young mutant named Wasp. She did not survie the process but no one seemed to care. Thanks to that he can grow up to 25 feet tall. The last one was is a mutant who has been blind from birth. He had enhanced senses that compencated for his sight being gone. He used his powers to become a killer for hire and was very good at it. Taking the name DarkDevil he was on par with Wolverwine when it came to killing. These three men more than made up for the lose of Joseph and Cyclops, and give them the edge in the upcomming fight. He heard a small jet overhead and looked up.
“ Get ready boys here they come.” He said into a walkie talkie. This was when things turned around for The Brotherhood and at long last he would kill Cable.

Silver Surfer followed close behind Cable’s jet. He had been in this timeline for the past two days watching and waiting for the right time to strike. Now here in a lone Army base he would get both Cable and Bishop in one shot. Although he could not shake the feeling that he should be helping Cable and not trying to take him down. He could disobey The Watchers but his powers were not that strong. He had only been their servent for 25 years and his powers were not yet fully devoloped. If he did not obey than Firelord would be sent after him. And worse yet The Watchers held the power to destory his world. He would not try to save this one at the risk of his.

Cable landed the small jet at the far side of the base. The team files out. Alll five of them ready for battle. The only thing that made him uneasy was the change in Spider-Man’s costume. It had gone from the bright red and blue to an all blck costume with a lage white spider on the front and back.
“ Alrigtht team we need to stay on track here. Chances are this is a trap. Spider-Man you and Storm search the buildings on the right side there. Joeshp Quicksilver, and I will go this way.” The two teams split up.

Spider-man and Storm walked into a hanger.
“ Where are they at?” Storm asked.
“ Behind you babe.” Both turned to see two men standing there. One was dessed in a dark red costume with two double D’s on the chest. The other man had no costume, he was 6 foot 2 inches.
“ And you are?” Sider-man asked.
“ My name is Darkdevil and this is my friend Goliath.”
“ He does not look so big to me.” Storm mocked
“ Tell me where Wolverwine is!” Spider-Man demaned
“ You must be Parker. New costume, how very goth. Well Wolverwine is not here but he wanted me to tell you your uncle begged for his life.” Goliath started to laugh as he said that.
“ You Lie!” Spider-man ran at him as fast as he could. Before his eye Goliath seemed to grow larger and before Spider-man reached him he was 15 feet at least.
“ Come and get me little man.” Goliath puched at Spider-man hitting him in the face with his large fist. Spider-Man flew back into a pile of boxes with a crash. Goliath was on top of him for with three steps. He grow a little more up to 20 feet in height and picked him up and threw him out the large doors.
“ It’s just you and me babe.”
“ The name is Storm. You will remember it when I’m done with you.” She flew into the air inside the hanger. “ You will have a hard time finding me in the fog.” With that a large thick fog blew into the hanger blinding and hiding everything.
“ Foolish girl. What does it matter to a blind man if he is in the fog. I can hear your heart beating and that is how I will get you.” Storm did not belive him, she could sense where he was at using the wind and fog to tell her where he was at. She brought up a black cloud into the hanger. She shot out a lighting bolt at Darkdevil. He jumped out of the was very easy. She was shocked, how could have he had doged it.
“ You can not even hit me little girl.” He jumped out of the fog and punched her in the stomach.
“ But I can hit you.” He started to laugh. “ What chance do you have. Me a well trained killer and you an untrained girl from Africa. Give up now and I’ll make your death fast.” She fired off three more lighting bolts that missed each time as he jumped out of the way. Every few seconds he would jump up and hit her just to let her know that the fog did her no good. She knew that he was toying with her. She had to get away, find away to beat him. He did not give her the chance.
“ I can smell your fear. I can hear your heart beating faster and faster.” Darkdevil mocked. He reached down and pulled out a small billyclub that he had on a strap on his leg, and threw it at her. It hit her right in the side of her head. Not hard enough to kill her but enough to knock her out. She fell to the ground and the fog disappeared. He walked over to her.
“ Darkdevil to Bishop. One down.” He said into a Walkie-talkie. He smiled. Another win for Matt Murdock.

Spider-Man hit the ground, and slide about ten feet before stopping. He could not remember ever being hit that hard in his life. Not even by the Rhino. He looked over to the bunker and saw goliath coming out of it. He had to think fast if he was going to beat a 25 foot high giant. He leapt to his feet and stood ready, he tried going after Goliath before and it did not work. This time he would come to him. Goliath ran at him and was on top of him in two steps. Spider-man barely had time to jump away as two giant sized fists came crashing down on the ground where he stood. Thinking fast Spider-man shot out a large amount of webbing onto Goliath’s hands pinning them to the ground.
“ You think your pathetic webs can hold me.” Goliath raised his mighty hands off the ground tearing the webs from his hands. Spider-Man reached over and threw a large tire at Goliath who hit it back at him. The tire hit Spider-man knocking him off his feet. Spider-man watched in a combination of fear and amazement as Goliath picked up a small army helicopter and threw it at the stunned Spider-Man. Spider-man did a back flip off the ground, the copter hit and exploded sending large chunks of metal everywhere. Part of the propeller cut Spider-Man across the chest leaving a large gash. Spider-man fell down in a pool of his own blood getting weaker by the moment.
“ I can’t let it end like this.” He thought to himself. He tried to stand but he was to weak. Goliath stood over him.
“ A pity Spider-man I thought you would be a better fight than this.” He turned him over with his over sized foot. “ You are lucky Wolverine wants to finish you himself or I would kill you right here. Soon you will join you aunt and uncle little man.” At the sound of Goliath mocking his dead family Spider-man jumped to his feet. Still very dizzy he would try to fight on.
“ You will not last long if you fight me. If I do not kill you the fact you are losing so much blood will.” Spider-man Jumped up with as much force as he could and hit Goliath with both fists in the chin. With a sicking snapping sound Goliath fell back on to a fuel tank exposing the gas inside. Goliath looked up he was not dead but his jaw was broken and he found hit hard to stand. Spider-man walked over to the pile of flaming debris of the copter and pick up a small piece.
“ You will not kill me today Goliath. I’ll tell Wolverine how much restraint you had in not killing me.” Spider-man threw the flaming piece into the Gas
“ NOOOO!!!” Goliath yelled as the gas ignited into a fireball. Spider-man ran for cover behind a large wall. He used his webbing to stop the bleeding from his chest.
Spider-man fell to the ground feeling both tired and very ashamed of what he had just done.

Cable, Joseph, and Quicksliver walked into a large bunker on the pther side of the field of the one Spider_man and Storm went into. This bunker was used mostly for storage, it was clear The Brotherhood had been thoguh here. Four soldiers laid on he ground dead, and many of the boxes were thrown around the ground. Cable looked to the other end of the building and saw mant members of the Brotherhood on the other side of the compound thanks to his enhanced eye.
“ They are down there. On the other side of this place. We take them out here, I don’t wannt them to get away. I want this to end.” Cable told his team
“ Funny, Xavier gave us the same speech.” Cable looked up and saw a man stading on top of some creates.
“ Unis. I see that you and the rest of the B team have been called up.” Joseph said to him. Unis jumped off the box and landed in front of the team.
“ Yes he did. And the rest of your team is being taken out. Bishop wanted me to have help but I figured I can handle you on my own. In fact I’ll stand here and give you a free shot.” Quicksilver looked him over. He was about 6 foot 2 inches. 230 pounds of all muscle, he could take him. Quicksilver decided that one punch could take him down
“ Don’t do it Quicksilver that’s what he wants.” Cable warned
“ And that’s what he will get.” Quicksilver ran at him full force ready to take Unis down. He landed his punch right on target, or so he thought. With out knowing what happened Quicksilver found himself flying though the air, he hit the wall one the other side if the bunker hard enough to knock him out.
“ What happened?” Cable asked
“ His power that is what. I have never understood it but he has a field around hiself that prevents anything from hitting him. I don’t know how to break though it.” Joseph explained
“ great.” Cable set his laser gun on its highest setting. He aimed and fired it at Unis. Unis just stood there and took the blast. Joseph using hids powers raised three lage metal beams off the floor and threw them at Unis. They hit hid field and threw him back into the ground.
“ Looks like that did it.” Joseph laughed.
“ I think not.” Unis stood up unharmed “ you know what else I can do with my power. I can throw my field out ward. Like so.” Unis raised his arms and pointed them outward. Joseph could not put up a field of his own to protect them. Cable and Joseph were hit by an unseen force and thrown outside of the bunker.
“ I can not be stopped by you fools. Now watch what happens when some one else gets caught into my field. He walked next to Cable and moved his field around him. Cable felt his air running out. He grabbed his throat and gasped for air. “ I am the only one that can live inside of this field for more than a few minutes.” Cable dropped to the ground. “ But sadly Bishop wants you alive. So I just took enough air to knock you out.” He walked over to Joesph who was tring to stand. He put his foot on top of his head and drove it down into the ground. “ As for you, Xavier has something special planned for you

Silver Surfer hovered above the army base watching the conflict below. He wanted to learn more about the two sides before he engaged. He knew that Cable and Bishop were tring to change the timeline. Cable was tring to stop Xavier from taking over the world and killing millons. Bishop was here to help Xavier kill Cable and Cyclops. He did not want to stop Cable, he was just doing what the Surfer had done on his own world. Surfer saw that Cable was beaten. He had no choce, now was the time to get involved. He flew his board down and stood by Cable blcoking him from Unis. Unis turned to face him.
“ So who are you? Another one of Cable’s lackeys.”
“ The Silver Surfer is the lackey to no mortal.”
“ Well no matter who you are you will be dead in a few minutes.”
“ I think not.” Surfer raised his hand and it started to glow as it always did before he shot out an energy bolt. “ One bolt from me will stop you so I can compleate my task.”
“ That bolt will not strike me. My force field will protect me.” Surfer shot out his bolt, It went though the force field and hit Unis in the chest. Unis flew back hitting the side of a turck. Surfer bent down and picked up Cable and flew off. He had to find a place to activate his time portal to send Cable back to the Watcher’s Tower. Then he would come back for Bishop.

Bishop looked around, his team was done loading up the computers and weapons that they were after. He had heard a lage explosion a few minutes ago and had not heard from his team scence. He pulled out his comlink
“ Bishop to team respond. What is your statius?”
“ Darkdevilel here. Strom is tied up I am just waiting for Goliath to return.” That was the only member of Bishop’s team to respond
“ What happened to Goliath?”
“ He went off to fight Spider-man, I heard a large explosion and have not seen him. Should I look for him?”
“ Stand by.”
“ Unis come in. Goliath come in.” Nothing. He turned to The Brotherhood that had stayed with him. “ Get ready to pull out.” He pulled out his comlink again “ Darkdevil bring Storm and return here. Do not engage anyone else we are pulling out.”
“ What about Unis and Goliath?” Pryo asked
“ They can find their own way back. If they lived. Our mission is to get the stuff back to Xavier and I will not risk the mission going after them..” Bishop looked around the compound and saw smoke cominng from one of the buildings. He smiled, even if some of The Brotherhood was dead chances are so are some of Cable’s men. And with the computers and weapons Astriod X will be up and running soon. All of mankind shall soon feel the warith of Xavier, and all mutants everywhere would take their place in the world.

Joseph came to and saw that Unis had been knocked out. Quicksilver had came to and was standing onver him. He stood up and looked around. He saw a huge fire coming from the other side of the bunker that Spider-man and Storm went into. He had no idea where Cable was at.
“ Go and find Spider-man and Storm I’m going to get the plane ready.” Joseph ordered
“ We can’t leave, not with out Cable.”
“ We have to. This mission is a bust. We are defeated Cable is gone and who knows about Spider-man and Storm, chances are they ran into the same problems we have. Now go find them and meet me at the jet.” Qiucksilver could see that his brother was not in the mood to debate this. He ran off to look for his team mates. But even as he ran off he could not help but think that he and the whol team had been set up by Joseph. Maybe he did not really qiut after all. Perhaps a call to the Avengers on his comlink was needed. He would watch his brother close in the next couple days and if this was a trap, than he would make him pay fot it with his life.

Darkdevil put away his comlink, it was time to go. He took one last look around for Goliath but did not see him. Chances are he was dead, or at least hurt pretty bad. No matter he really did not like Pym anyway. He picked up storm who was still knocked out, that is what made Darkdevil so great. He knew just where to hit and how hard to keep a person out for at least an hour.
“ Well babe it looks like you are going on a little trip. I’m sure going to hate seeing you killed you are on hot little piece of…” Darkdevil stooped in mid sentence. Something was coming at him and fast. To fast for him to pick up on. He had no time to even think about what it was before something hit him in the jaw sending acroos the floor. He stood up and saw Storm laying there still out. It could not have been her. He once again felt something hit his jaw. He hit the ground.
“ What the..” He was kicked in the mouth this time. When he tried to stand he found he could not. He did sense Spider-man standing there, but he was not fast enough to do what someone had just done.
“ Let’s go Quicksilver.” He heard Spider-man say.
“ Of course. Quicksilver.” He thought to himself. He is the only one fast enough to do this. He pulled up a little bit and heard one of the smal strainds in the webbing snap. A weak spot. He pulled up as hard as he could and all the webbing gave way. He had to get back to Bishop but Quicksilver would pay for what he has done here today.

Cable awoke in a small room and looked around. He was no longer on the army base, and he saw no site of his team.
“ I see that you are awake.” He heard from behind him. He truned around and saw a man standing there.
“ Who are you?” Where is my team?” Cable demanded
“ My name is Silver Surfer. I am a hareld to The Watchers of Time. I have been sent here to stop you and the one called Bishop from changing the timeline. I have to send you to the Watcher’s Tower and send you to you rproper place.”
“ I will not let you. You do not know what it is like in my world. Millons dead, a tyrant who rules. I have to change my futuer.”
“ I know what your world was like. I came from a world that was ravged by war as well. I tampered with the time line to change it.”
“ So why are you tring to stop me?”
“ The Watchers saved my world, but in return I have to serve them. I cannot disobey the orders of my masters.” Surfer turned away from Cable “Athoguh I have never regreted any task more.” Cable was going to stand up and try and fight Surfer but something happened that made him stop. A small hlolgram appered in front of Silver Surfer.
“ Master why have you contacted me?” Surfer asked
“ Why have you not yet completed you task?”
“ I have had trouble finding my targets.”
“ Do not lie to me Surfer. I know what has been going on. I can see all. You are bot wanting to stop Cable. I never should have sent you for this task. I thought you could handle it.”
“ I can master.”
“ You can not. You will return here. We will speak of the more when you return.”
“ Yes master.” The head dissapeared and Surfer turned to Cable “ I do not have time to set the portal up to send both of us. You are free for now.” Surfer turned on the portal and begain to step though it. “But you have not seen the last of The Silver Surfer.” Surfer stepped into the portal and was gone. Cable got his comlink from his belt
“ Cable to team.”
“ Joesph here. We had no idea where you wnet. Are you alright?”
“ I’m fine but I need a lift come pick me up. Use the homming signal in the comlink to find me.”
“ Right Joseph out.” Cable stood there wondering what just happened, and worndering if he would indeed see the Surfer again.

The Siliver Surfer stood in the chamber of his master Umburi. He did not look pleased. Umburi begain to speak.
“ Years ago when you tried to change the timeline of your world we made a deal. You serve us and we will let you change your world.” He paused and looked at one of the monitors “ Now we have a timeline in real danger, I send you back to save it and you do not.”
“ I found out what Cable is trying to do. I can not stop him from it. Xavier will kill millons of people. If I can stop that I will.”
“ It is not your choice to decide that.” Umburi snaped at him
“ Why is it yours?” Surfer snapped back. Umburi sat down
“ It is mine. It is the job of The Watchers to make sure that each time line satys intact,” Umburi started to raise his force. Something Surfer had never seen “ NO ONE HAS EVER CHANGED TIME! EVER! AND I WILL NOT LET THAT HAPPEN NOW!”
“ No one other than me right master.” Surfer said dryly.
“ Right. Other than you.” Umburi said slowly “ Go find Ulhtu he has a misson for you. “
“ Yes master.” Surfer walked out of the chamber. He would go find Ulhtu, but not before he checked something out. He walked down a long hall and into a door on the right side. In there was another set of monitors. Sitting there was another one of the Watchers. Surfer walked behind him and fired a small energy bolt into the back of the watchers head knocking him out. Now he would get some answers.
“ Computer this is Silver Sufer show me my planet.” A monitor turned on and showed a planet destoryed by war, crime and sickness. “ Computor does this planet match my timeline?”
“ Afrimative.”
“ He was, right no one ever has changed time. Not even me.” He fired a bolt at the monitor. “I may not have saved my world but I can help save Cable’s” but first he had a to get somethings from The Watcher tower. It was time to bring the war to The Watchers

Firelord walked with Mandrain into his armory. There was a man inside making armor.
“ I wanted you to look over the new armor that our troops will be wearing when we fight Xavier” Mandrain said Firelord stepped over to look at the armor. He turned and saw a man standing there. The man had a shaggy beeard and long black hair. He was hunched over and looked at Mandrain with fear in his eyes.
“ Who is this man?” Firelord asked looking over at the man
“ Who?” Mandrain looked over “ That is Tony Stark. We found him in one of Xavier’s labs. He has been held there for many years before we found him.”
“ What is that thing around his neck?” Firelord asked pointing to a callor around Stark’s neck
“ That was put there by Xavier. He was controlling Mr. Stark with it. We have not yet found a way to get it off of him without killing him.” Tony made a muffled sound like he was trying to talk.
“ He can not speak anymore Xavier took that ability away from him.” Tony started to shake his head back and forth making sounds.
“ What is wrong with him.”
“ Nothing.” Mandrain said glaring at Tony “ Nothing at all. He was just getting back to work.” He and Firelord started to leave. Firelord turned around and saw Stark looking at him. He started to move his lips. Firelord made out the word “Help” before his view was blocked. He dicided to come back later when the Mandrain was not there blocking every thing he asked the man. In the past two days he was here with Mandrain planning attacks, he was able to remember a little bit more. He now remembered his name. Although everything else was still blank he did start thinking that the more he saw the less Mandrain seemed like a freedom fighter.

Firelord waited until later that night when Mandrian was busy doing other things to find out what he wanted to know. He went back down to the armory. When he stepped inside and found that Tony was not there. His first thatught was that Tony was asleep, but he saw that many of the workers that were there before were still there. They all stopped when he came in the room.
“ The man called Stark where is he.” He asked one the men standing there. The man looked over to another man holding a small device in his hand. That is when Firelord noticed that all of these men had on the came kind of coller that Stark had on. That is when he relised that these men were not workers but slaves.
“ No one named Stark is here friend. I think you had better leave.” Said the man holding the device
“ I was not asking you friend.” Firelord replied
“ You will not get any answers from him he can not speak.” The man walked over to stand by Firelord.
“ It’s funny how so many people here can not talk.”
“ I think if you have any thing to ask you should talk to Mandrain.” Firelord grabbed the device out of the man’s hand. He heated up his hand and melted the device in his hand. He lifted the man up with one hand.
“ Now like I asked where is Stark?”
“ Your burnning me stop it.” The man pleaded
“ Tell me where he is and I’ll let you go.” The man started to sob
“ The Mandrain will kill me.” Firelord sent more heat into his hand
“ So will I.”
“ OK!OK! I’LL TALK.”
“ Good.” He put the man down “ Tell me everything about The Mandrain

The Brotherhood sat in the conference room in Xavier’s mansion Xavier at the head of the table was going over what had happened.
“ Despite the fact that we lost Giant-man I think things went well.” He said, “ We got the computers needed and we handed Cable’s team their first of many defeats.” The Brotherhood all looked pretty happy, everyone but Darkdevil
“ What’s wrong with you Murdock?” Pryo asked
“ It’s Quicksilver. I could not get a reading from him due to his speed, he beat me.” Mudock slammed his fist on to the table “ No one ever beats me!”
“ Looks like this one did.: Wolverine laughed
“ Logan be quiet.” Xavier snapped “ As for you mister Murdock we can not allow things to side track us. You can have you revenge soon enough. We have another mission to run tomorrow on Tony Stark’s privet home tomorrow. It has the final piece that I need to get Asteroid M under my control.”
“ What is that?” Asked Bishop “ And where did this Asteroid come from?”
“ You do not know the history behind it?” Xavier asked back
“ I know what it was used for but not where it came from.”
“ About one year ago the Kree empire used it as a lunching point in their attack on Earth. The Fantastic Four and The Avengers stopped them and the Kree left it behind. Reed Richards convinced the United Nations to let him study it but after Dr. Doom took it over and used it to attack the Earth himself they wanted it destroyed. Tony Stark convinced the U.N that he could keep it safe while studying it. He built a clocking device and a security system to keep thing until it could be studied. No one has been there in over a year but after we get a device from Starks safe that will deactivate the system we can get in it ourselves.”
“ What about Ironman?” Unis Asked
“ Leave him for Colossus. He has the power to handle him” Xavier said “now everyone rest up we strike at 6am” As the Brotherhood left Xavier smiled. Things were going to be easy. HE knew that Stark and Ironman were one in the same and Stark was in England at the moment. By the end of tomorrow Asteroid M will be under his control.

Cable walked into the monitor room that Quicksilver had just used to call The Avengers.
“ Well what did they say?” He asked Quicksilver turned his chair around
“ Captain America has placed The Avengers on stand by alert and are ready to help us when we give them the word. He also uploaded all of the files containing Asteroid M into the computer. Not an easy thing to do since most of it is confidential. And the fact that we have a wanted man on the team.”
“ Wanted man?”
“ Parker. The whole word knows that he and Spider-man are the same, and he is wanted for questioning in the murder of his aunt and uncle.”
“ He had nothing to do with that!” Cable yelled
“ Captain America knows that but as soon as this is done he wants Spider-man to turn himself in and sort this out.”
“ We will discuss this than. But I do not see it happening.” Cable walked over to a panel on the wall. “ I will call the team down so we can look this over.”
“ Hold on there is one more thing.” Quicksilver said nervously
“ What’s that?”
“ As a condition for us getting this I am now the new government liaison for this team.”
“ What! Who said this!” Cable was now upset. The last thing he wanted was to have others looking over his back ever five minutes “ I will not allow this!”
“ You have no choice Cable. This is not just us verses Xavier anymore. He attacked an army base and is now a threat to the whole world. Fury, Captain America they are watching us here. If we don’t work with them than we don’t do this at all.”
“ I guess it would be good to have some back up. But we lead they follow.”
“ They are already helping us. Now that they know of Xavier’s plan they are moving to protect the device needed to get into Asteroid M.”
“ Well let’s get the team down here to plan our next move.” Cable in a small way was glad to have help but he would not let that stop him from killing Xavier when the time came. He knew how Captain America felt about killing people. Most heroes of this age did. Nothing would stand in the way of his revenge not even Caption America.

Firelord walked out of the armory. He had killed the overlord in there and freed the slaves. It was his hope that they could help him fight the Mandrian, but he saw that they were a beaten group wills broken, they would be of no help to him. He walked to the doors of the Mandrain’s throne room, when he tried to open the doors he found that they were bolted shut. He took a step back and raised his staff and fires a jet of fire at the door. The metal turned red hot and after a few minutes the door melted away. He stepped inside and saw three guards with machine guns. The first guard raised his gun.
“ Stop right there.” Firelord pointed his staff at the man and a large ball of fire shot out turning the man into ashes before he could even scream for help. The other two guards shot at Firelord as he walked over to them. So hot was the heat that Firelord emitted that the bullets melted before hey could reach him. Seeing that their guns had no effect the two men turned and ran out of an open door on the other side of the room. Firelord was about to chase the two men down when he felt an energy bolt hit him in the back sending him flying across the room. Firelord stood up and turned around to face this new challenge and saw Mandrain standing there looking at him.
“ I know what you are Mandrain and how you tried to use me. For that you will die.” He said in a bitter tone.
“ I know. Do you think you could kill anyone in my palace with out my knowledge.”
“ The slaves had been freed. You will control them no longer.”
“ They are not free. They are dead. As soon as you left my guards rushed in and killed everyone there. Just as I killed Stark for trying to ask for help. I knew that as soon as he did that this moment would come.”
“ A brave man you are for challenging me unarmed.” Fire lord looked at mandrain. He could still not figure out where that bolt came from
“ I need no weapons.” Mandrain held up his left hand. “ With my rings I am the better than you will ever hope to be. Your death will be slow and painful just like my old friend Stark’s” Firelord shot a jet of flame from his staff but the Mandrain was able to block it with a barrier from one of his rings. Mandrain fired another bolt at Firelord who tried to block it with a wall of fire, but the bolt went though and hit Firelord. He flew thought the door and landed in the small hall on the other side. Mandrain fired another bolt at the ceiling above Firelord bringing down a large part of it burying him underneath. Mandrain started to walk over to Firelord.
“ You will soon feel pain that you could not even imagine possible. And you will call me master and beg me to stop.” Mandrain felt the ground start to shake when he said that. He watched as the pile of ruble that buried Firelord exploded in a ball of flames
“ NO MORTAL IS MY MASTER!” Firelord fired a large jet of fire at Mandrain once again. And once again Mandrain put up a barrier to block it. Only this time the flames were to much for Mandrain’s rings to block.
“ Arggggg!” Mandrain was engulfed in flames and Firelord keep them coming. He was controlling his flame so that Mandrain would not die right away. Firelord wanted him to suffer just as Stark had more than likely suffered before his death.
“ Now it is you who feel more pain than ever! It is you who will die a painful death!” He stopped feeding the flames that engulfed Mandrain and left im laying on the floor of his throne room burt and near death. He flew though the ole that Mandrain had made.
“ How odd that a would be dictator will be entombed in the throne room of his own palace by the very man he tried to control.” Firelore fired once more and hit the roof of Mandrains throne room bring it down on him ending his reign of terror. Firelord took to the sky, those bolts that Mandrain had hit him with had clearded his head. He knew now that he had a mission to complete. Xavier would soon feel the warth of The Firelord.

The Surfer left a supply room that he got a few things he would need to help him in his fight the Watchers. It was time for the watchers to pay than he would go back in time to help Cable.. He would hit the one place that The watchers needed to continue on with watching other worlds. At the bottom of the tower was a computer core that controlled all of the power to this tower, by hitting it The watchers would be blind and they could not send Firelord back to try and stop him. He blasted open an elevator door revealing a shaft. He got onto his board and flew straight down. About halfway he saw that an elevator car was coming up the shaft. He did not have time to dodge it. He flew right into the car, which was destroyed, on impact. The two Watchers inside did not even know what killed them. At first Surfer felt a pang of remorse but than he thought about the billons of people that have died, or will die just because the Watchers felt the timelines needed to be intact. They would not be the last to die in this fight.

Umburi watched as the Surfer killed two of the Watchers. He had thought it would be a good idea to keep an eye on the Surfer and now he saw he was right. He had a good idea of what The Surfer was trying to do. If he just wanted to leave he would have just used the transporter to do so, no he was going to destroy the tower’s computer core and by doing that he would damage the life support that kept the Watchers alive. He looked over to his aide Ultu
“ Go get the security forces, tell them to get to the basement and stop the Surfer.”
“ Yes sir.” Ultu ran off he knew the threat that Surfer posed. Umburi knew deep down that the team would not get there in time to stop Surfer. He could only sit back and watch as The Surfer destroyed everything they had spent the last 1000 years building.

The Surfer landed at the bottom of the shaft and blew open the doors. Two Watchers stood there in shock.
“ Surfer what is the meaning of this.”
“ It is punishment for your lies.” Surfer fired a bolt that knocked the two men back against the wall. Surfer looked at the long room of computers. It was this large room that kept the watchers alive and aloud them to interfere with other peoples worlds for 100 ears.
“ No more. I will not allow it.” Surfer fired bolt after bolt into the room destroying computers with every blast. In every part of the tower power was failing life support shutting systems down. He walked over to a very large computer that controlled the monitors used to watch other worlds. A single bolt took it out. The watchers were blind. He turned a flew back into the shaft and flew straight up.

Umburi watched as his screens went blank, and he knew that all other screens that were being watched by other Watchers went blank as well.
“ You are blind no master.” He heard a voice say behind him “ I did not mean to kill the two in the elevator. And I did not shut off life support for the whole tower, the Watchers will live if they come to the upper levels.”
“ W can fix the damage done. You have solved nothing.”
“ Yes you can. But not before I help Cable save his world. And with the transporters out you can not send Firelord after me.”
“ But you can not leave the tower yourself.” Surfer produced a small object in his hand.
“ This mini portal will get me to Cable’s time. I’m sorry to do this master, but you never should have lied to me.” Surfer pushed a button and in a flash he was gone. Surfer was right for now he had won. But soon he would send Firelord after him and that would be the end of the Surfer.

Nick Fury stood outside of Stark’s mansion with four Shield agents and Captian America.
“ As soon as we get this we can put it onboard the Shield Hilocarrier. I don’t think Xavier would dare attack that.” Fury said to Captian America.
“ I am just shocked that Professor Xavier is part of this he seemed like he was on our side.” Captian A said
“ No one saw it coming. Heck he helped design half of the stuff that Shield uses with Stark.” Fury saud with anger.
“ I know and now we have to get the Astriod M device right now. He knows where it is at so we better get going.” Captain America and Fury walked inside of the mansion leave the four agents outside to keep a lookout. Stark was still in Eroupe and Fury wished he was there to help them out. He did tell them where the device was at. Both men stopped in front of a large bookcase in Stark’s study. Fury pulled out a small handheld device that he had a pushed a button. The bookself slid back opening up a small hidden elevator. Both men stepped inside and the elevator started to go down. Stark had a hidden lab two levels below his house. It is where he hid his Ironman armor.
“ So what is the deal with this Cable guy?” Asked Fury
“ I don’t know much about him. I know that Quicksilver has joined his effforts to stop Xavier. And I trust Quicksilver and I trust his judgement.”
“ Ever think that this Cable is a villan as well? I mean didn’t all of this start when he showed up?”
“ I have thought of that. Quicksilver tells me everything that happens there.”
“ Well we have a man that no one has ever heard of and a man wanted for murder on the same team. My faith in this is very high right now.”
“ Parker did not kill those two people. Wolverine did. You could tell by the way the bodies were cut up Besides if he really is the bad guy you can have first crack at him.” The two men steped off of the elevator when it reached the bottom floor. The two men walked over to a large metal door on the other side. All around the lab were parts of the Ironman armor that were being built by Stark. Trying to improve on the design Captian Amercia thought. He did all the time. Fury keyed in a code on he keypad to the right of the door.
“ Code confirmed.” The door opend and inside was the device needed to get into Astriod M.
“ We got it. Let’s call the boys upstairs to get ready to puul out.” Fury said. He pulled out a comlink device “ Furt to agent 5. Come in agent 5.” There was no answer “ Fury to any Shield agent come in.” Fury looked over at Captian America.
“ Something is worng.” He said to Fury
“ You got that right Bub.” Both men turned around and saw Wolverine stanging on the elevator blood driping of of his claws.
“ This just hard Fury.” Captian A said
“ It always does.” He reliped. Face to face with the worlds greastest killer and no agents to back him up. “ I’ll die before I give you thhis.” Fury stated
“ That’s the piont pal.” Wolverine laughed. This was going to be easy. These two men were dead where they stand.

Ironman flew as fast as he could to his mansion. He understood the need of Captian America and Fury to get the device form his mansion he just wished they would have waited or brought a few more people with them. He knew thanks to his compputer at home that Fury got the device from his vault. It was only a matter of time before it was safe. He cursed himself for not destorying the Astriod after that mess with Dr. Doom, but Reed had convinced him that it was in the best intrest of the world if they could learn what was inside. But thanks to the different goverments of the world fighting about who should study it no one has been albe to. Ironman landed in the front yard of his home and saw the fours dead Shield agents. It was a bad site they had been cut very badly.
“ Fury to any Shield agent come in.” Ironman looked down and saw a busted comlink on he ground. He bent over to pick it up.
“ I can’t have you warn Fury about my frind’s handy work.” Ironman had no time to react before he was punched in the side of the head. He flew though the front of his house and then though the next three walls. He landed in his study. He tried to stand but found that he was not able to. That hit knocked his systems for a loop, it would be a few minutes before they could reboot. He saw the massive figure of Colossus walking his way.
“ You picked the wrong day to come visit your boss comrade.”
“ You an’t kidding.” Was the only thought Iroman could form before the large man was on him.

“ You don’t have to do this Wolverine.” Fury said
“ I do. Xavier wants that device, and I want to kill you both. See there really is no other way.” Wolverine ran at Fury and swiped at him with his claws. Fury jumped out of the way. Captain America had no room to throw his shield so he kicked Wolverine in the back of the head. Wolverine did not seem to notice the hit and swiped his claws behind him cutting Captain America’s right arm. Captain A rolled back in front of the elevator and stood beside Fury.
“ Take the device and get it out of here.” Fury told the Captain
“ I can’t leave you here.”
“ This device is more important than me now get it out of here.” Fury thrust the device into America’s hands and pushed him into the open elevator doors. He pulled out his gun and fired four shots at Wolverine. All four hit him in the chest and he flew back into a wall. Wolverine jumped up and shook his head a bit.
“ I can heal everything you throw at me Fury.” Fury knew of Wolverine’s healing power but he had hoped that those shots would give him time to think of something to try. He fired once again. Wolverine laughed and lunged at Fury. Fury had no time or even the room to move out of his way. He felt Wolverine’s three claws dig deep into his stomach.
“ No one with powers can stop me, so what made you think that you even had a chance here. No normal person can stand up to the might of Wolverine.” Fury opened his mouth to say something, but was only able to cough up blood. Wolverine removed his claws and Fury feel to the floor. Wolverine flipped him onto his back and knelt down beside him.
“ I’m not going to kill you Fury, but I do want to leave you with something to remember me by.” He took his claw and aimed it at Fur’s left eye.
“ Argggh!” Fury yelled as Wolverine dug in and removed it. He slammed Fury’s head into the floor and left him laying there in a pool of his own blood.
“ No to go get your flag wearing buddy.” Wolverine walked to the elevator. Xavier would be pleased. The device would soon be his and the head of Shield bleeding to death on the floor. With Fury out of the way it would take even longer for Shield to act. No one could stop the Brotherhood now.

Captian America stepped off of the elevator and saw Colossus lifting Ironman off of the ground. He knew his first thought should be getting away with the device Fury had given him but he could not leave Ironman, He knew if he did Ironman would be killed. He put the device if a pouch in his belt and took his Shield of of his back. He did not think it would do much good but it may buy Ironman some time to get away. He threw the shield and hit Colossus on the side of his head and it fell to the ground. Colossus dropped Ironman and turned around
“ You!” He yelled.
“ I’m glad you remember me big guy, it has been a year since the last time we fought.”
“ It was no fight. You just jumped around until Thor could take me out. You fear me. I will give you a chance to beg me for you life.”
“ As long as I have lived I have never begged for mercy and I will not start with you. If you want me dead than come over here and do it.” Captian America stood ready for the fight to come. He knew the stakes here. Colossus picked up the shield that was thrown at him.
“ We will see how well you can do without this toy.” With very little effert he bent the shield and threw it aside. Captian America stood there for a second shocked that not only was Colossus to break the shield but that he had done it with so much ease. He had little time to think of anything else before Colossus charged him. He jumped into the air and planted both feet into the metal man’s back sending him flying through a large wall.
“ You can not avoid me for long little man. And this time there is not Thor to help you.” Colossus picked up a large chunk of the wall he just busted thru and threw it at Captian America. Captian simply ducked out of the way.
“ You will never be able to hit me. I can see all of your moves before you even use them.” Captian mocked
“ If I can not hit you than I will bring this whole house down on top of you.” Colossus ran into a large suport beam in the middle of the room. The already weaked roof begain to fall down on top of all three men. A few minutes later Colossus broke his way out of the rubble. He tore a path to the spot that Captian America was standing and pulled him out of the pile. He was bleeding in many places. Where Ironman and Colossus had the protection of the metal they had, Captian America had taken the full bunt of the falling celing and everything in the room above. He was half dead and not able to defend himself as Colossus reached into his pouch and got the device. It had only been damaged a little in the fall of the roof, but it could be fixed. He looked over and saw a very happy Wolverine standing in the rubble, he had just come into the room.
“ You really bring down the house.” He said jokingly.
“ Stick to the killing and leave joke to people who are good at it my friend.” Colossus said to him.
Things were looking good for The Brotherhood and now with the backbone of the Avergers near death there is noone left to stop them.

Peter Paker woke up in a dark room. It had no doors or windows and Peter could not see more than three or four feet in front of him.
“ Hello! Cable, Storm is anyone here?” There was no answer. Peter was starting to get worried.
“ I’m very disapointed in you young man.” A voice came from behind Peter. Peter knew the voice. It belonged to his Aunt May.
“ Yes is this the way we raised you.” Another voice added. This one was his Uncle Ben. Peter turned to face the voices.
“ How? I mean what..” Peter could not find the words.
“ You have a lot to explain to us young man. Putting on some costume Killing a man in cold blood.” Said the voice of Aunt May.
“ No he tried to kill me. It was not cold blood.” Peter said the words but he knew he did not mean them.
“ We took you in when you had no one else. And you go off on some kind adventure leaving us at the hands of your foes.” Uncle Ben had said.
“ I did not know you were in danger. I did not know.” Peter fell to his knees.
“ I begged you to give up Spider-man when I found out. You said you would and look were your lies put us.” The form s of his aunt and uncle appered out of the darkness. “ It’s all your fault Peter!” The forms yelled. “ It’s all you fault!” Peter begain to cry.
“ Im’ sorry. I’m so sorry.” He cried and looked up at the forms. He saw another form emearge. It was the form of Wolverine.
“ Noooo!!” Peter yelled He watched as his anut and uncle were once again killed . He looked down and saw that he was now wearing his new black costume. A rage built up inside of him and he ran at Wolverine but before he got to him he was gone.
“ I’m going to kill you! You hear me your dead!” Peter heard his aunt’s voice again
“ Don’t let the venom of hatred comsume you Peter.” After a blinding flash of light Peter awoke in a pool of sweat in his bed. He stood up and got his costume from his dresser.
“ A spin around New York City should clear my head. Like it did in the old days.” He said to himself. He knew he was still wanted by the police and Cable had orered him to stay in the farmhouse but right now he just did not care. In fact he was hoping for some one to come after him tonight.

Spider-man stood on a roof in Lower Manhatten looking over the view. This used to help him when he was feeling down but today it did nothing for him. It had been four days since the death of his aunt and uncle and he was having a very hard time with it. When his powers first devoled two years ago he could have hidden them. But instead he decide to use his powers to play hero like the Fantasic Four or Avengers he saw on t.v. So with the blessing of his Uncle Ben he got a costume together and risked life and limb to help people. At least he told himself that is why he did it. Looking back he now knew it was mostly just for kicks that he did this. A chance for him to get away from the bullies at school and the lack of friends. With this costume on he was somebody. His uncle told him all the time that with this pwoers came a great responabitly, he never really listened. If only he had listened or given up this hero bit when his Aunt May found out about him he could have stayed and fought to save them. Now everything had changed, He had a new black and whaite costume and he was on a team to save the world from a group of evil mutants that killed his aunt and uncle, and worse yet he had two of the former members of the Brotherhood on his team with him. I guess it is time to live up to the responsabilty that his uncle told him about. His thoughts were broken by the sound of a police car speeding down the street. Spider-man stood up and jumped into the air and shot out a web and swung after the police car. After two blocks he saw the cause of this problem, a man known as the Sandman was running away from a bank. Spider-man had fought Sandman before but he got away, but he would not get away tonight.

Storm sat in the living room of the farm house reading a book on plants. She was waiting on Cable and Quicksilver to get done talking with the Avengers. It was late at night but the call came in that there was trouble so she stayed awake to see if she could help out.
“ I wonder if Cable would let me convert the attic into room for me to put some plants.” She said to her self. A few minutes later Cable and Quicksilver came from the basement that had the com room in it.
“ We are going over to the Avenger’s mansion to plan our next move. Let’s get the whole team here.” Cable said. Quicksliver ran off to get the other members of the team and with in a few minutes Cable, Quicksliver, and Storm were standing in the living room Cyclops was sittng in a wheelchair unalbe to stand because of his broken leg.
“ Where is Spider-man?” Cable asked
“ I’ll check.” Qicksilver said as he ran back down to the com room. About two minute later he came back.
“ The homing device on his com badge says he is in Lower Manhatten.” Informed Quicksilver
“ What in the world is he doing there? He knows not to leave. Can you get ahold of him?” Cable seemed to be upset.
“ He is not answering his Com Device.” Quicksilver answered
“ Maybe he was just trying to clear his head.” Storm broke in. “ He has told me a couple of times that he does that to relax.” Storm and Peter have talked a lot in the past couple of days. In fact she was really the only person that he talked to. Theyt did have a few things in common. They both lost their parents at an early age, and neither had anyone else that they could talk to outside of the group. Storm because she was from Africa and Peter because he was a wanted man.
“ We don’t have time for this.” Cable said with a bitter tone.
“ Look I’ll go get him in one of the cars and meet you guys at the Avengers Mansion.” Storm offered.
“Fine but do not take to long. We have a lot to do.” Cable and the others left leaving Storm alone
“ I hope he is ok.” She walked off. She felt bad for Peter and wanted to try and help him. Hopefully she can find him in time to be part of this meeting with the Avengers. Something was going on and she knew that they would need everyone to help

Spider-man watched from a rooftop as Sandman climbed a ladder to get away from the police. When ever one of them came close to him he would just shift into a pile of and or something like that. In the darkness of the late night it was hard to see him. None of the police seemed to notice that he was climbing away. Spider-man jumped to the roof that Sandman was trying to get to. Spider-man hide behind a large heating vent and waited for Sandman to run past him. If he caught him off guard than he could hit him before he changed him self to sand he could get one good shot in. Sandman ran past and Spider-man punched him in the jaw. Sandman flew side ways and hit another heating vent about five feet away. Sandman looked back and was shocked to see Spider-man standing there.
“ I did not figure you would show your face in this town right now.” Sandman said as he stood up
“ The last time we fought you got away. I won’t let you this time.”
“ So that’s what this is about. I did not think a killer like you would stop someone from robbing a bank.” Spider-man jumped at Sandman who just turned him self into a soft sand and Spider-man just passed thought his body and hit the heating vent on the other side. “ Did I touch a nerve bug boy.” Sandman mocked. Spider-man threw another punch at Sandman, but insted of turning himself soft he made his sandy body very hard and Spicer-man felt like he had just punched a brick wall.
“ You seem to have forgotten my tricks Spider-man.”
“ I forgot nothing.” Spider-man said as he threw another punch. Sandman turned his body rock hard again and braced him self for the punch, but Spider-man did not punch him instead he grabbed the back of Sandman’s head and before he could react Spider-man put his foot on Sandman’s stomach and flipped him over, Sandman flew back and hit a rooftop sign and broke apart. Spider-man stood up and watched as Sandman reformed. Spider-man was about to jump at him when he felt a very sharp pain on both of his sides. He grabbed his sides and fell to the ground.
“ So the little spider is in pain.” Sandman walked to him he shifted his body to become soft so he could suffocate Spider-man. He felt the wind pick up as he shifted and his body started to fly away
“ What is happening?” He asked in fear.
“ I am. I will not let you hurt Spider-man.” Spider-man looked up and saw Storm was on top of the roof with him. He looked back at Sandman and saw that he was gone. Storm ran over to Spider-man
“ What is wrong Peter?” She asked
“ My sides. I can’t move. I need help.” Storm using the wind was able to pick up Spider-man and get him to the car.
“ Don’t worry. We need to go to the Avenger Mansion. I’ll get you there as fast as I can.” Storm said. She did not know what was wrong with Spider-man but she hoped someone with The Avengers could find out.

FUTURE

Firelord Landed in a small field in upstate New York. He knew that Xavier’s main base was in New York City a place called the Baxter Building. But he did also have a large mansion in Westchester New York. He would start there. He did not know where Xavier’s machine was but his home was a safe place to start. If it was not there he would go to his base in New York City. It does not matter where it was hidden however. By the end of the night Xavier would be dead and his machine destoryed.

Firelord landed in the front lawn of Xavier’s Westchester Mansion. He did not see any one around, but Firelord would not drop his guard. He started to walk forward when he heard the sound of machines behind him. He turned around and saw about four or five gun turrents sticking out of the gurond.
“Part of Xavier’s defenes” Firelord thought. The guns fired lase bolts at Firelord at the same time. Firelord took to the air and begain firing fireballs at each on melting it to the ground. More turrents came from under the ground and and shot at Firelord. There were to many for Firelord to take down and one of the bolts hit im in the back sending him to the ground. As Firelord tried to stand another bolt hit him sending back to the ground. He was weakened from his fight with the Mandrain and the long flight to New York. One last bolt hit him and than the guns stopped firing. Firelord could not stand but he did manage to roll over onto his back. He saw a group of ten or so guys coming to him. The man in the lead lowered a gun at Firelord.
“ I am Alex Summers of the Xavier Security Force state you name and reason for coming here.” He demanded
“ My name is Firelord and I came to kill Xavier.” Firelord replied in a weak voice.
“ Ha. Xavier is not even here. He is in his tower in New York.” Alex turned to the other men and pointed down at Firelord. “ Get rid of this trash.” He ordered. The men aimed there guns at Firelord. He knew he had to do something. He sent a flash of light from his staff blinding the men. He drove his staff into the ground and with all the strength he could muster he sent as much fire though the staff on under the ground. The machines started to explode sending chunks of earth into the air. He sent even more flames underground. The ground where Summers and his men stood opened up beneath them and they fell into the large opening. Firelord looked on as Explosions ripped though Xavier’s Mansion. He removed his staff and flew into the air and looked down at the mansion. The heat he sent underground caused a chain reaction though the whole place and caused the explosions to destoy the mansion and the surounding grounds. But the effort had made Firelord very weak. He had to get away to rest and regain his strength. He flew off toward Canada hoping he could hide in the mountains till he could recover. He had dealt Xavier a blow by hitting him where he lived. But Firelord was no where near done. Not by a longshot.

Xavier was sitting at his desk in his office when Forge came busting in
“ There had better be a good reason for busting in here like this.”
“ Yes sir. There has been an attack on your mansion in Westchester.”
“ What kind of attack and by whom?” Xavier asked.
“ We are not sure. One of the pictures we have gotten showed the same man that destoryted your Sentinals and Mandrain’s base in Asia. And as for the kind of attack,” Forge paused a moment before going on “Your mansion is a total loss.” Xavier’s face became red with anger.
“ Where is this man now?” Xavier demanded
“ He was spotted flying to Canada. Do you want me to send some tro.. ?” Forge was not able to finish his sentence before dropping to the ground dead. Xavier caused a blood vessal in his brian to rupture and kill him. Forge had no time to even think about what was going on. He turned to Wolverine who was coming into his office at the moment.
“ Did you know about this attack?” Xavier asked.
“ Yes. In fact I told Forge to inform you of it.”
“ Why?” Wolverine looked down at Forge’s dead body and lit a cigar.
“ I know how much you hate bad news.” He said to Xavier
“ What ar you going to do about this man?” Xavier asked.
“ I already sent three Sentinals to attack him.”
“ Where do you think he is going?”
