You know, I was gonna vote for Hellboy, but I kind of felt like it would be throwing my vote away, like voting for a third party. :(

Although my heart is with DC, Batman's consistently irrational view on Joker (i.e. cannot kill him) makes me think he waffles too much when presented with a crisis

Cap is proven leadership

I like the Hellboy/LJ ticket but you have to know that ticket will lose in the Bible Belt

I like French Fries and I don't like patriotism and voting for a third party is a waste.

DC Ticket:
Batman (HT exp.) for President
Nightwing (HT vet.) for V.P.
Platform: Cleaning up the streets.

Batman would be a great president. Think about what he could do. Things would be a lot safer, just like in Kingdom Come.

This is a hard decision for me because I really hate the French. I mean I REALLY hate the French. But I can't vote for Cap. Only because Batman seems to know what he's doing better. Under his rule there'd be no crime unsolved and no murder unavenged. Plus whenever you need to speak to the president all you have to do is draw a bat on a flashlight and shine it at some clouds.

It is so nice to see that Batman and Nightwing are on top. I might have had a tough descision had the Wolvie and Punisher tandem made it this far but clearly Batman is the man with the plan. His record speaks for itself.

Can I do a write in vote of Fred Ward and David Carradine, with a platform of pity-ing fools and smacking the populace around?

No?

Go Batman!

I'm very thankful that your flag is that of Ger.? Because in the U.S. if an indepentent platform gets 5% of the vote during the election than they can be recognized for funding. And besides, the smartest way to vote is to find a platform whose values you most believe in, and not vote against your interests. Most in the U.S. do not describe themselves in any way as far left or right as any candidate in the past several elections here. I don't think there's any value in voting "against" a party/ candidate you should put your vote to the person who you most want to represent you.

Note I'm not endorsing a particular candidate besides Cap, just a smarter way of excercising representative democracy.

Thanks for the lesson, but my comment was meant as a joke. The so called third parties play an important role in the German democratic system.

All other voters: Please note that this is the election of the HeroClix President, not the American HeroClix President...

WHAT KIND OF NONSENSE ARE YOU TELLIN THE BOY!!!

America is a two party system. Granted the other parties might suit your interests better, there's one of them that even I like more than the two parties. But a vote for a third party is throwing your vote away. It's worse than not voting. Heck a write in vote for yourself is better than voting for a third party. You vote to change things for the better. So you pick the candidate who has the best chance of doing that. and it's only one of two people because... America is a two party system.

My apologies Norton, it was my intent to rant about something else, not insult you in any way. The "Boy" I speak of is a general term I'd have used even if you were female. So don't take it too harshly. It's an expression as they say.

I suspect you are trying to support the independant candidates... but you prettymuch just agreed with me. I've been known to give that exact same speech to independant voters who want to avoid the two party thing in defense of the two parties. It can be construed either way I guess I think there is an extremely slight difference in the way we word it. So you might wast to consider a different arguement is my point.

That being said... I agree with the above statement ;)

Alright, who let Kodos in?

Or is that Kang? (the tentacled one, not the timetraveling one...)

The same bugaboo of wasted vote is trotted out everytime somebody thinks their side is gonna loose, because some greedy rat decided to vote his conscience rather than appease a fear monger.

In a stunning reversal of my earlier comment, let me just say that a vote for Hellboy is the same as a vote for Cap! Don't vote independant, vote Bat Family!

(seriously folks, if the election isn't won by a narrow margin, there'll be no reason for a recount, and months more of controversy and mudslinging by the two major candidates will be lost. Where's the fun in that?)

Do you think Cap's chances are being hurt by the fact that he's running on a ticket with a partner who is a deceased, flatlined, unthinking pile of worm fertilizer?

This Captain America is the good Captain America-the 616 version (though the heroclix representation form isn't too truthful in that-consider it a campaign ad).

Just an aside, though I do agree it should be a close election, both the candidates are quite even in their attributes. While personally I favor one merely because I do not favor the other. The point is to always consider the infinite possibilities from a forked road and choose the one that is the best option-though not always the most well known or well received.

Interpret that for this election or for something else . . .

Plus, Batman's leadership is filip-floppy...
First he's leader of the JLA, then he's not; he leads the Outsiders, then he leaves them; which do you like?-#### Grayson, Jason Todd, or Tim Drake?
But, in his defense-He just plains kicks ###!!

Captain America has been with Avengers forever, lead them well, and only had one partner-doesn't want to risk anymore lives at his hands.
It's still fun, I love threads like these.
