There has been great series being serialised in Heavy Metal.
The Regulator
Incredible art with an intriguing mystery to solve. It takes place in the future, but the environment has steampunkish qualities.
Anyway. What makes this tale interesting is the fact that in a world of corruption and great evils, a hitman and a hitwoman may be the two most moral characters in the story. Two peope who will have to rise above what the past has made them, to save a future for themselves and their city.
