Did anyone else find the "hidden mischief?" :grin:

No I'm not talking about the story which was a little ridiculous, but there was something hidden there, and when I first noticed it, I thought I was losing my mind. Upon further inspection, I realized that I was correct.

I don't know if I can drop a hint, without giving it away. The only thing I think I can say, is, inspect the issue carefully...the entire issue.

Nope!

It's not something significant, just some thing that was hidden..and probably most people just did a quick glance, and thought nothing of it. But when I saw it, I thought " Wow......" and then upon further inspection, I realized that I was correct, but there was more than I originally thought. I will post what it is tonight, if no one else comes up with it.

Again, not anything significant, just some little hiden fun. ;)

Well, I saw some stuff on the cover, but I didn't think much about it. Do you want me to list what I think I saw? I know I didn't see 8 things, though.

Well here goes:


Superman's eyes were all funky and looked like they were glowing blue.

There were 3 people in a window looking out, and they looked familiar, but I couldn't quite tell who they were supposed to be.

Carp, I should have done this last night, this is all I can remember. So, are you gonna give us the whole list?

Well, I guess...since you were some what close on one, I could tell you guys what I was taking about. Now that I'm at work though, I may not be able to get them all..but here we go:

Myxlplyx (sp) is hidden all over the cover.

1. On the globe atop the Daily Planet.
2. He was one of the people you referred to in the window.
3. IIRC he is on one of that lady's lenses
4. There is a green strip on the building next to the Planet, which he is hidden in.

5. The third building on the right, he is hidden within the architecture I believe 2 times)

6. If you look at the tattoo that he guy that's looking up at Superman, you'll see him 3 times. The two "white" things under the ribbon are both Myxlplyx. The really good hidden mischief is that if you pull the comic back from you and stare at the tattoo, you'll realize that the whole thing is also Myxlplyx.

So IIRC, he is actually hidden within the cover 9 times.

Someone can check to be sure I got those correct. Like I said, I don't have the comic available to me right now, because I'm at work. But I will check when I get home.

Yes, but I never claimed the issue was worth a lick! :p But the cover was cool, IMHO! And if I hadn't been a completist........well you get the idea! ;)

Um, just to be precise there are 10 Myxzlptlk's on the cover. And I am supposed to be studying for an exam! :laugh:

Ok, let's see this, now that I have the issue in front of me:

1. On the Daily Planet Globe, just under the S in the title.

2. On the green building..umm..between Superman's legs. :eek:

3. He's the guy's tattoo.

4. He's also the pupils for himself in the guy's tattoo (under the eagle's wings (x2)

5. On the guy's glasses lens

6. He is in the architecture of the small gray building (x3), that I can see.

7. And he is one of the people in the window of the really tall building.

Yup, 10 times! ;)
