PAINT BALL

All Heroclix rules will follow the same except for the following:

* No Close Combat Attacks. All close combat attacks & actions will be range at point blank and will follow rules for drawing line of fire from range.

* All characters with range of zero now have a range of 2.

* Hindering terrain will give a +1 bonus to defense for each square you have to draw line of fire through.
Example: Batman goes to shot Harley and 3 squares of a smoke screen are in the path. Harley will get +3 bonus.

* Soaring characters can make attacks to grounded character only in adjacent squares.

* Blocking terrain cannot be destroyed. (Exception: Barriers created by a character can be destroyed per successful attack of 3 damage.)

* No pushing damage. Character will not take pushing damage but will still follow rules for action tokens.

* Damage: No characters will be given damage, instead they will be given markers to symbolize being hit. A character can be hit in 3 different areas: Arms, Legs, and Head. You cannot use powers to soak damage from these markers. All characters damage dealt will be reduced to 1. When hit with a successful attack, targeting character rules 1 die 6 to see where they hit.

* 1 or 2 = Head
* 3 or 4 = Arms
* 5 or 6 = Legs

When a character has at least one marker from each area they are eliminated. Besides this when hit in different areas it will cause that character different status affects as following:

Head 1 Marker: Half Range, Attack -1
2 Markers: Range Reduced to 1, Attack -3

Arms 1 Marker: Attack -2, Defense -2
2 Markers: Attack -4, Defense -4

Legs 1 Marker: Half Movement, Defense -1
2 Markers: No Movement, Defense -3

* Critical: A critical hit will give the targeted Character/s 2 markers instead of 1. A critical miss will give the attacking character one marker.

* Support: Support ability will be able to remove 1 marker on a successful attack. (2 upon a critical hit)

* Capture the Flag: Each player will have one Flag in their starting area (must be placed on clear terrain.) Opponent characters can pick up flags in the attempt to get them back to their starting areas. You may not pick up your own flag. It takes 3 movement to pick up an opponents flag. If a character carrying flag is hit with a successful attack, they drop the flag adjacent to them along with taking a marker. If the flag is successfully in your starting area at the beginning of your turn, you get a bonus 100 points.
