Dear Whiz.
While I can understand Alpha Flight may not draw people to the game quite as well as the Morlocks (note the sarcasm), I do think they, and the Thunderbolts, should not have been included in the Avengers. There's no reason for them to be "Avengers". This also goes for the Marauders who should have been a team as well.
Then again, this may be a comic book based game that is free to ignore the "comic book" part.
Furthermore, the misspelling of both Jimmy Olsen and Ma Hunkel kind of smacks of a poor editing (or quality control, or something) department.
Not to mention the ton of misprinted figures in Universe...despite it only being a reprint set...

This part should be directed towards the DC Quality Control Department. They approved their designs... and we all know DC cares more for their stuff than Marvel does. They should have corrected WizKids way back when. That is, unless these aren't the finished pogs. Remember, figures and dials change before they are released, so it is quite possible these will change before Legacy is released.

Ouch, that is somewhat of a problem. Misspelling names? I didn't even notice it thanks to my American public school grammar learnin', but now that it's been brought up I'm none to pleased about it. I hope it is a correctable problem, at least for future runs of Legacy if the first is already set to ship.

And I really hope they do. I think the fault can lie squarely with both company's in the case of misspellings. ^_^*

I didn't notice until someone pointed them out to me either. Then again, I kinda just passed over the pogs out of disinterest at that moment. ^_^*
I will say that the Thunderbolts are recognized as "honorary" Avengers, so i don't mind it.
But yeh, Alpha Flight? Definitely need their own symbol and ability, or at least would have been better listed as X-Men.

No, especially when I'm not whining but pointing out that these people are making fairly poor mistakes all around.

maybe its because they both start with A and the TA suits them?

While I tend to agree that the Morlocks and Serpent Society were poor choices for teams, I have to say that Alpha Flightt is an equally poor choice for the same reason - lack of members. The core membership of Alpha Flight is very small, unless you add in all the members that were in the terrible alternate teams, which I hope never get made.

Au contraire on the Serpent Society. Sidewinder and Anaconda are very playable thanks to their TA. And the characters, though not well known outside of Diamondback, are fairly deep.
I like Alpha Flight as well, but I do have to say that I'm not really looking forward to any others besides Aurora, Shaman and Talisman, if she's not too similar to Shaman.

I didn't say that Serpent Society wasn't a great TA, or that the pieces weren't good (in fact, I agree that Sidewinder and Anaconda are quite playable). I was simply pointing out that their roster is pretty shallow, and that as a team, they're not well known at all. Serpent Society's membership is deeper than Alpha Flight's, however, despite Alpha Flight's much more recognizable profile.

What would Alpha Flights Team Ability be? :noid: Exactly, and If they had their own team ability you would not be able to use Northstar to do a free attack! [Avengers team ability and HSS] ;)

The should of just gave them the Morlock team ability. All the Morlocks died anyway. DC gets Kingdom Come and Marvel gets Morlocks. Wizkids has no love for Marvel.

But they did make a new team abillity for Alpha Flight! It's the same ability as the Avengers, but they used an "A" for Alpha Flight instead of an "A" for Avengers. You are seeing now?
"No, that was not Zathras, that was Zathras. There are 10 of us, all of family Zathras, each one named Zathras. Slight differences in how you pronounce. Zathras, Zathras, Zathras.... You are seeing now?"
