1996 Marvel vs. DC Rematches

Im sure alot of you remember that old series where they had straight up one on one fights but they allowed people to vote on the outcomes of some of them. I personally think they got a bunch of them wrong, but thats the way it was.


So, now, 9 years later who do you think would win in these rematches. Pretend these fights take place now using the current incarnations of the characters unless they are deceased, in which case use their character as they were last writen.

Hulk vs. Superman--Hulk
I see Hulk as being able to take this one. He was proffessor hulk during their first meeting and now he wont have that human part of him holding him back.

Captain America vs. Batman--Cap
In a drop in fight, i dont think batman can win, maybe if he had some time and knowledge of his opponent he might be able to win

Storm vs. Wonder Women--Wonder Woman
Once she gets her hands on Storm its over, Storm is still just a normal human in terms of durability

Spiderman vs. Superboy--Spidey
I think hes got the skills and experience to drop the little upstart

Wolverine vs. Lobo--Lobo
He wins it with easy, the two shoulda never been put up against each other.

Quicksilver vs. Flash--Flash
They got this fight perfect, quicksilver dosent stand a chance

Jubilee vs. Robin--Robin
Jubilee has some cool powers, but i dont think she'll ever hit with them. Robin walks all over her.

Sub-mariner vs. Aquaman--SubMariner
Sub-mariner is just stronger and more durable than Aquaman

Elektra vs. Catwoman--Elektra
She is too leathal and deadly, now if this was the movie elektra id give it to Catwoman cause the movie Elektra isnt nearly as deadly

Thor vs. Captain Marvel--Thor
According to my rules i guess this would end up being Odin-Thor which makes this such a landslide. Even if this was normal thor i still think hed win, hed be sore, but hed win.

Silver Surfer vs. Green lantern--Surfer
He can undo most of what GL can do. Simple raw power will overcome willpower


Total victory 7-4 Marvel over DC.

-Hulk wins this. Normally, superman, but in the past few months, superman has been getting hurt by big strong guys

Captain America vs. Batman
-Captain America. Strai out dropped fight, he wins.

Storm vs. Wonder Women
-Wonder Women takes a few lightning bolts and then rips storm in half like a phone book.

Spiderman vs. Spiderboy
-I love spidey, but now with titans improved Conner, spidey wont be able to touch him. This isnt the same wise craking superboy, but rather superman-lite.

Wolverine vs. Lobo
-Ummm....Wolvie cuts lobo into 20,000 peices. Then lobo proceeds to reform and then lobo frags him into space. Lobo may win the fight, but the reader loses in this cliche vs cliche fight.

Quicksilver vs. Flash
-Flash atomizes Quicksilver, or uses whatever stupid new power flash has cuase apparently worlds fastest man isnt enough anymore

Jubilee vs. Robin
-Assuming this is Jason Todd robin still, Jubliee wins. She has had time to imporve, while Jason was beaten to death with a crowbar. We see who had the brighter future.

Sub-mariner vs. Aquaman
-Sub-Mariner reminds Aquaman why he is STILL the JLA's inside joke.

Elektra vs. Catwoman
-Winner: Elektra, Loser: Movie veiwing population

Thor vs. Captain Marvel
-Hmmm...odin powered thor vs same captain marvel. Well Marvel is going to have to fid a good dry cleaner who can remove hammer stains

Silver Surfer vs. Green lantern
-Last form of Kyle is just a normal GL with experice. And Surfer still can turn him into a toaster. Well, this would have been a fight if it was Ion, but Surfer proceeds to beat Kyle like jason todd after a fan poll.

I think the Lobo/ Wolverine fight should be a drinking contest to make it interesting. The drinking contest would end in a draw.

Wolvie's sidekick vs. Bat's sidekick, Robin wins. He should be fighting Wolvie's real sidekick, Shadowcat. Then Shadowcat would win.
