I had to choose "No, I don't plan on making it this time," because it was the closest I could find to the "I'd love to, but lack of a reasonably close location and adequate lead-time with the information make this impossible" button. ;)

Howcum there's a little blue line in the poll results above when, at the time of this writing, nobody planning to judge has taken the poll? :confused:
BTW (off topic) - between the polls & articles & probably more stuff that's flying below my radar you're doing a bang-up job as Administrator here, webhead. Keep it up! Any chance of getting the "links" link back up top? There used to be some good stuff to be found there like a random booster generator & custom maps.

I had every intention of going to my first Pre-release. Unfortunately two of my children are in a wedding and I have to be there at 2:30 for pictures. Judging by the stories of some of the last prerelease and the fear of disorganization, I don't think I could play the first flight and make it on time.
I will be at the one in GA. The others from my venues and I are also considering driving from Atlanta (Feb 19th Prerelease) to Memphis for the one on the 20th.
Lot of driving but it is just our marriages we are risking for little pieces of plastic crack that we could wait and buy in 2 weeks anyway.

I'll be at the Milford MA one. Just look for the tall, skinny, goofy kid, wearing glasses and a tight shirt, who supposedly looks like Napoleon Dynamite. Yeah thats me....

can't make it this time! Mountain View and San Jose used to host those pre-release events in the past...but now nope...is it becuase of WonderCon convention? I wonder why not having an event taken place in Wonder Con in SF? Too late for now. :( Hope next year will fare better.
there is no pre-release within 8 hours drive from my home (SF) - nowhere in Northern CA is there? if so, let me know!

Same reason I'll be bowing out (heck, won a local qualifier, but I won't be showing to any other event in the series - was just another sealed event in my book). Just not worth the time and expense.
I would have enjoyed getting another preview sealed event, but this time it'll be back to the Marquee instead (if I get to play in that - I'm tied up running 2 now, and the 1 venue I had time to play at dropped the ball on the sign up deadline AGAIN). Apparently there's this weird idea that San Diego counts as "California's pre-release event" - somehow forgetting that the city is in the far southern end of the state and the state basically occupies 1/2 the nation's Pacific coastline.

I'll be at the San Diego DC Legacy Pre-release at the Game Empire. I'll be the asian guy with the black "Dragon" hat, Dragonball Z sweater, long hair, and screaming like a giddy school girl (because I finally got my hands on some Legacy figs). Hope to see you guys there. :grin: :p :) :classic:

I'll be playing my first major tourney at DJ's in NC
After judgeing since the games release, I am actually playing in my first tourny. I'm on my way to DJ's in NC, thanks to the winner of the local qualifier I ran!!
Before anyone gets the wrong idea the offer was made after he won. He offered to pay my way into the pre-realease if I would help him work on his stratigies and tatics.
That's it Aramore, you're fired! :p
Glad you get the chance to play - now just hope the guy you help doesn't beat you.
I'll be playing in Lincoln, NE - the middle of nowhere and the middle of the country all rolled into one.
If I lose I hope its to him....then I can say I got beat by my own strategy :) . Really though I wish him all the luck in the world, he's been a great help to me, the venue I judge at and all the players that come out.

I'll be at the Milford, MA location.
Since I am heading the Judge staff for the event. I will be at the Milford, MA event as well.
We expect to have at least 50 people if not more than the 54 people we had show up for the MM prerelease.

Sounds like there's going to be a few of us at DJ's in NC going to a major tourney for the first time. I won the qualifier in Asheville, and I'll be making to drive.
Can I tell you how cool my wife is? She's performing in a dance concert Saturday night, and she TOLD me to go to the tourney instead of staying in town to watch her. I'm the luckiest guy in the world.

Voted no cause, as Masacre pointed out, there are none in the whole country :p
This is just a reminder that this is a regional championship as well.
You will need to bring a 300 pt. constructed team as well. In case you make the finals.
The event will consist of three rounds of sealed swiss cut to the final 16 plus any local champs. in an open constructed single elimination tournament.
Just in case someone didn't get the memo.

Listen, pal, the only thing that kept Wall Crawler from taking it last time was me! I pulled badly and played worse! But this time, I'm bringing the ultimate equalizer; my wife! She has the pulling luck of the gods (4 of the 6 boosters she gave me for x-mas contained Uniques!) and can out-strategize me in a heartbeat. OK, so, most people can...I like comic books! Just FYI I'll be in Highpoint at DJ's as well for my third Pre-release. I'll be happy just to get some Legacy before it comes out. Anything good I pull or win will just be icing.

And Darth, the only reason team Wallcrawler lost is because the had to play against us:p

Actually the venue crew is supposed to be at all Premiere events.
I am going to quote the following document from Tony R. and the approved play staff...
"We will NOT be running a Venue Crew promotion For the DC Legacy Prerelease; the event format doesn’t really lend itself to that kind of team competition. So you don’t need to collect that information this time around."_
So for this one, there will be no Venue Crew promotion. Just so there are no surprises on your end.
