Smallville Last Night *Spoiler*

Watched Smallville last night, as I do every Wednesday. Anyway, Lucy Lane seems pretty messed up and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the comic book version of her. Is there a comic book version? Is she the family screw up?

Seeing Clark jump from the bridge to the semi trailer was super cool! Talk about single bounds, huh? Though I was surprised that no one brought up how the semi was stopped. Aparently they are used to that sort of thing in Smallville now.

Too bad next week is a rerun.

Only time I recall seeing her was in the Supergirl movie and she seemed like a typical college girl.

Lucy, as far as I know, appears in the current comics continuity. I remember her showing up in John Byrne's post-Crisis "Man of Steel" reboot miniseries thing. She seemed fairly normal and devoid of the emotional garbage found in the Smallville version.

Oh no so you missed the crucial episodes where the entire cast was killed except Clark, who now rules Smallville with an iron fist. Oh man, you've got some catching up to do. ;)

Actually Lucy is kind of like that in the books. Or pretty close anyways. Both sisters have issues stemming for thier father.

Lois would be great if she wasn't given any dialogue on the show. I'm a Lana man through and through. I'd vote for them to rewrite Superman's history and end him up with her but who ever listens to me ;)

on the Elseworlds note, she does live in the old Kent house with her husband in the "Son of Superman" story.

I mute and fast-forward scenes with Lana; she's such a TOOL in Smallville. Annoying little girl who always talks in a whisper and walks around squinting her eyes; ughhh!

I'd be happy if she wasn't even in the show; nothing they've EVER done has made her anything but a poor, defenseless damsel in distress. How pathetically cliche. :devious:

One the flip side, Rosenbaum deserves some sort of acting recognition; he's amazing!

That being said, Smallville is one of only two or three shows even worth watching on TV nowadays!
