When the "YOUR Teams" thread popped up in the General Discussion area, I thought that it would be about the teams people role-played with, or made up or whatever and how they would be represented in HeroClix. I was looking forward to seeing what the teams people fielded outside of HeroClix were. The thread wasn't that, so this one is.

And it set me off on another idea - a massive, inter-reality multi-multi-team uber battle for all the marbles in the universe kind of thing. The idea is still just that, an idea, but I think it would be neat if, instead of using guys I made up to populate the alternate reality gaming worlds, I used guys from other people's gaming worlds. Actual alternate realities.

So please, unload them on me. I'd like to hear who you play with, who you have played with. Salient facts about them - not just powers, if necessary. Wolverine is not just claws and a healing factor, attitude makes the shorty psycho with the unbreakable bones who he is. When outlining abilities, please don't say statistics - Monstrous (75) Strength, 27 Spirit, 12 Attack, etc. Just the text versions of what they can do, why they're together, that sort of thing. Teams only, please

I'm really looking forward to seeing what comes up.

Thank You,
Gary E. Poisson

I love to do this kind of thing.

As usual for me, I always start with Thor. The best of the best. Range, brute strength, energy, leadership, and POWER! The complete package.

2nd, since we are going cross-company, will be Alan Scott Green Lantern. Again, pure power with leadership, range, and potential to carry non-fliers.

3rd- Shazam/Captain Marvel- 2nd raw strength person, of which I always have 2.

4th- Nightwing- better team player than Bats, and close enough as a detective. Also a good leader.

5th- Iron Fist- Another favorite of mine, whose powers and fighting ability will contribute.

6th- Invisible Woman- female presence, cool powers.

7th- Saturn Girl- telepath- good for organizing strategies and mental attacks, another female, great team player

8th- Zatanna- mystic presence, another female

Eight members gives a good number without tripping over each other.

There's a thread for what you're talking about up in General Discussion, (http://www.hcrealms.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=126812) and while it inspired me to put up this thread, it's not what I'm after here. I already know Thor, Captain Marvel, etc. What I'm after is your teams that you've made up, top to bottom. For instance, one of mine would be Crowd Control.

Beacon. Team leader, she's a world-class energy projector and was intended to be used by Set, the Egyptian god of evil and death, as part of a plot to gain his pantheon ascendancy. Alterations to her powers have greatly altered them from what they were meant to be, and while she's easily capable of leveling a mountain, her blasts can't kill anyone. She's physically idealized, has marginal superhuman strength, and can fly with a range of global or beyond, though she has problems with low-end speeds, like those to cross town. She can sheath herself in energy and reflect any incoming energy attack. She's patient, but put upon.

Pulse. An armored hero in an outfit that makes the Mark I Iron Man look sleek and polished, Pulse is an enormous box fighting for justice. Superhuman strength and durability are mixed with his "Pulse Beams" to create a juggernaut for righteousness. He's an All-American ideal hero with an unconventional look.

Firebeast. She's an artist who, suffering from block, looked for an outlet and discovered an untold proclivity for martial arts. She's one of the world's premiere fighters and one of few who has mastered the lost druidic martial art of the firebeast, which allows her to project and absorb flame. She's able to fly. Her attitude is very driven, and she communicates well with a tendency to default to violence.

Craig. Superstrength, fire manipulation, electrical control, telepathy, and unparallelled genius - and he's the laziest man alive. Everything's come easy to Craig, so trying hard is a foreign concept to him. He's a slacker in the finest tradition, but capable of performing feats beyond reckoning at a moment's decision. Getting him to make that decision... that's the trick. Come on. He's too lazy to make up a CODENAME.

Terranex. Hi Tech wonder with gloves that let him control earth and magnetic fields, all fed into his bionic eyes and attached to his bionic right hand. Terranex is extremely intimidating, having red eyes not unlike a Terminator with the flesh off and a physique built through years of hard work. He made his gloves himself and is extremely attached to them. He's got the determination of a pitbull and no use for people who don't give their all.

That's what I'm after. I'm a bit long winded about it, but I want to see what other people use when they play RPGs, or write their own comics, or whatnot.

Thank You,
Gary E. Poisson
