Well, tell me about your favourite character and which system he's from.

My favourite character probably was Ninive, a female Elf thief that I played in an Earthdawn campaign. Advice to all game masters: Never give a character an item that can turn him invisible.
Ninive ended up with all the groups money and nearly killing two other PCs, but she got away with it without the slightest problem.

My favorite rpg character that I played was a human smuggler using the old West End Games system for Star Wars. He was ruthless, earned a lot of dark side points, and eventually became a prominent crime lord. He ("I") worked hard to get it, but he ran a crime syndicate that expanded throughout the entire galaxy. I eventually gave him up and he became a nasty NPC.

Tragdor, from his own rpg.
So many characters... for me, right now, it's Bob Herschin, AKA Terranex, from the Advanced Marvel Superheroes system. A randomly generated Hi-Tech Wonder, Bob had red metal gloves that gave him enormous control over earth, rock, and all their associated materials as well as a good degree of magnetic control. All of his data from the gloves fed into his glasses, enabling him to locate magnetic disturbances - like robotic enemies. He had built the gloves himself, but the character's intelligence really didn't allow for that; he was smart, but not that smart. To substitute for intellect, elbow grease was added: it had taken him 7 years to build those gloves. As one might imagine, he was... attached to them. He sandblasted a Warstar B'nee unit into nonexistence once for using its heat touch on them.
The determination that went into the gloves became Bob's defining characteristic: he was like a pit bull, clamping on to something and never letting go until he'd achieved a satisfactory outcome. He went through the wringer, too: tore off his right arm from the elbow down to escape Dr. Doom, lost most of his body mass and his eyes facing the Super-Adaptoid... it never occurred to him that superheroing was not something he was cut out for, that it was too dangerous. He was constantly going back at it, constantly emerging the victor based on little more than the fact that he never stopped until he'd won.
More than a little nuts, more than a lot admirable... yeah, Terranex would be my standing favorite rpg character.
Have a Great Day,

Manchine

Well discounting the Obvious choice of Manchine (KLIQ my homepage to see an ongoing webcomic) and any hero/villians I make up.
My Favorite, after that, has to be Thornwood. My Thief that doesnt like to be dirty. He always seems to make the greatest mistakes. Picking the lock to a Blacksmith, without checking for traps. No biggy except its a front for the Thieves guild in the town. Going down a Ladder and reaching the end, which happens to be sewar water. The guy above me kicks my hands and he ends up falling in the water.

I played a female Tzimisce named Jedah in some free form V:TM online chatrooms.
Playing free form meant we could concentrate on character development instead of combat. We still fought, but it wasn't die rolls and stats, it was back and forth roleplay of a fight scene.
I had developed so much backstory on that character.... lots of personality quirks. It wasn't a successful gaming session unless I disgusted at least one person. Best of all, she got a fantastic final death. Kinda miss the character, still use the handle :)
Mindstorm (which is where my AIM handle comes from).
He was a character in the Classic Marvel system. I just made him at random and played him once. Juggernaut "killed" him, but Sinister revived him and swore that Mindstorm (called Cueball at the time) would one day owe him.
Well, I didn't play the character again until Marvel SAGA, and from there he evolved into a weather-controlling TK powerhouse that could probably withstand as much physical damage as Aunt May.
He is currently a member of the superhero team, The Sidelines. So many fun times with him. I even made a clix dial for him and some of his allies.
