View Full Version : Legacy slotted pegholes

I've purchased 7 Legacy boosters so far, and I have seen several pegholes where the slot was not completely cut out, the slots weren't cut out at all, or the depth of the hole was less than halfway down.
Has anyone else experienced this problems with the production quality on the Legacy flight bases?
That's odd.
I've actually had exactly the opposite--mine seem to be perfectly cut this time.
PM'd you about Connor, BTW.

Is Legacy out already? I didn't think it was coming out till the end of the month.

Had the same exact problem with my Vet Startgirl. I kept putting her in the base and she kept falling out. I did it about 4 times until I really looked at it and saw that there was plastic blocking the hole about half of a peg length down.
I've never been drunk, but I imagined this experience to be very similar. I was like a confused monkey!

Dude, not having the slots at all would be great with me. I'd rather see the return of the original slotless designs than Namor. :p
Superfro, if you make it your whole life without being drunk, you're braincells ahead. I did it once and that was enough for me. If you must though, the secret is to get drunk by yourself so it isn't any fun.

I think they mean the slot where the peg goes into, which would lead to the figure not able to be set in properly.

I'm drunk right now!
By myself!
Out of the 10 boosters I got, I didn't notice any problems. But I wouldn't have to worry at all if the flight bases weren't slotted at all in the first place like they used to be. Y'know, the kind that rarely ever broke?
Sorry. :)

Well not when you take into account the massive amounts of blow I do.

Lets see if I can explain the different flight bases I have seen so far...
1) Slots cut correctly but the peghole is filled halfway up, so the peg doesn't stay in.
___ ___

2) Slots cut, then it looks like there is an outer coating of plastic that completely covers the outside of the peg slots, which kinda looks like this --

// \\ _______

\\ // | |
\| |/
---
3) Same thing as 2, but the outer coating only goes up halfway on the outside of the peg slots.
___ ___

4) And I had one where the peg hole was actually deeper than the peg, so when I put in the glue and the flier, and then waited a few minutes, the glue had set, and the flier popped right out. I had to reglue it to actually stay in.
My friend got a kid quantum that was just like #1, so you are not alone.
I knew what you were talking about...
