Ok here is a section of a screenshot of a Flat Map I am working on. It is actually a remake of an original map...can you guess which one??

I usually make 3-D maps but this one was dying to be re-made.
All those clix boosters...
Bet my pieces would be confused as all get out.

Nice work! It'd definately look better than the old one. Are you going to do the other side to? That's a map that needs a little life.

I try. I think a lot of times people try to get "too" detailed with 2-D maps and they become sort of "unplayable". Too many things to argue over as far as blocking, hindering and clear terrian. I wanted to produce a map that was detailed but yet still clearly shows what is blocking, hindering and clear.
Plus that Wizkid map, "not to #### on Wizkids" looked pretty bad. I hate playing on it. It's not the layout, its the art. I think Wizkids tries to keep a "comic book" feel to everything, which is cool, but there is a difference between a Dc or Marvel comic and a Peanuts comic.
Their Crimson Sky maps looked great and when they announced map packs after that came out I thought that's what they were gonna be sorta like....boy was I disappointed.
I'm just trying to make something that people want to play on.
Hopefully if Wizkids sees it they won't get all bent out of shape. I'm just honoring them.
Hopefully I can get Xion to print it for me.

Just curious...
Exactly where is the water spout on the Sentinel fountain?
Hi ibeatdraw,
Sure we (XionPress) can print it for you as long as it's less than 44" on the shortest side and you aren't violating any copyrights (which, I think, though IANAL, it's fine as long as it's not confusingly similar to a copyrighted work).
I'll PM you with specifics.

Just a quick note that we've offered a set of Standard printing services with better prices, starting at under $4/sqft!
