Is the new Gambat series any good?

After going through my mouthly expenses, I have discovered that I have enough extra money to put into my "comic fund" for two new series. I'm was thinking of picking up Wonder Woman and JSA, but then I remembered about Gambit.

He has always been a favorite character of mine (it all started when my girlfriend(!) introduced him to me), but no one in my area really collects the title, and those that do never talk to me.:(

So now I have turned to my good friends, the HCRealms community of people I never met. So, HCRealms community of people I have never met, is Gambit good?

Gambit's one of my favourite characters and I enjoyed the issues of his series I've been able to grab, but honestly if the other comics you were considering are "Wonder Woman" and "JSA" it's no contest - those two are far superior at the moment (especially "JSA").

Gambit is a very different title from what is out in general these days. It is self contained, and full of good humour, action, and adventure.

If you are looking for fun without a headache, and you miss old time heroics Gambit is for you.

Our modern day Robin Hood is definitely worth your time.

Been awhile since I checked this tread. Thanks for the replys; from what Briel wrote, Gambit is kind of title I'm looking for- fun, smart, not stupid, nor heavy, and it stars one of my favorite characters. Imight just pick this up.
