Handbook: AoA - Rated 7 - Everything you wanted to know about AoA and Exiles. Character desriptions etc. Evena check list if you want to track down all the old issues. Good stuff

AoA #4 - Rated 7 - Psylock shows up and kicks off the battle against the Guthries. Magneto shows up and ends it 2 seconds later. We then find out that Jean Grey is alive and in Sinisters hands. AoA Dark Phoenix? She could really help this series get kicked into awesome.

Excalibur #11 - Rated 7 - The new White Queen decides to update the Hellfire club look and loses the sexy outfit. Erm. Viper and friends assault an African President and Angel and Husk try to fight them off. Oh and Magneto and Xavier talk about Wanda etc. It wa a decent read. Except for th part with the "other cast" who I find boring.

X-Men #168 - Rated 6 - And this guy got such high praise for X-Statix yet his storytelling in X-Men seems to spliced together. He really seems to dislike fight scenes. Blah. Atleast it's not Austen. I will probably keep saying that everytime I find this title mediocre or worse.

Daredevil #71 - Rated 8 - A support group talks about thier experiences with DD. One girl talks about how she was there when he declared himself the new Kingpin (though not exaclty that) and talks about how he convinsed her to change her life around. A good 1st issues lead in story to something bigger.

Runaways #2 - Rated 8 - The kids find out that they must find this "Victor" and stop him from becoming a supervillain. So they track him down and he kics thier butts (as they show up acting all brutal) but they take him out... but the DarkHawk and the other has-been tsuper teens show up to take THEM down... uh oh.

Amazing Spider-man #518 - Rated 8 - Spidy beats the bad guy blah blah blah. It's was a good read. What's intersting that Spidy and family have both thier houses burnt down! Could this be leading nto them moving into thier new Avengers home?!?!?! I think so! I with old judgement on that but my gut tells me that Spidy and fam living in Trump Towers (basicly) is ########.

New Avengers #4 - Rated 9 - You gotaa give Bendis props. As I've been saying when he writes gold it's GOLD. (when he rights carp its CARP). The characterization and dialogue is awesome. Especially from Spidy. The new team find out Electro did the prison break so they track him down and have NO trouble dealing with him. They then learn (DONUTS!) that he broke Sauron out and head to the Savage Land only to have Logan meet them... is he a nut barn still?

What I wondered is, what the burp is Logan doing in the savage land? I agree that Bendis is doing a good job writing this thing. I just think Marvel's thrown up their hands with the whole "continuity" thing.
Thoroghly enjoyable nonetheless.

Wolvie's in the Savage Land in the current X Title he appears in most often aside from his own book. It's wolvie, he's hard to keep track of.

The Astonishing X-Men are in the Savage Land? I must've missed that.

I was skeptical of the New Avengers, and still am not sold, but the team interaction so far is great.

That said, New Invaders. Blazing Skull is the MAN! He gets all the best lines in comics.

Star moment is him beating the carp out of the Atlantean horde while singing songs from the Little Mermaid. Man I hope he sticks arround.

No they Uncanny X are in the Savage Land.

You have to remember Wolvie appears in ALL the X-books plus his own plus New Avengers

All popular characters are in a lot books every month - Wolverine, Spider-Man, Batman, Superman etc... They all do their best to keep the contunity going and straight but its never going to be 100%

Wolvie's all over these days, hence my not remembering which X-Book it is that he's in where they're in the Savage Land.
I should've said the one with Betsy being alive or something... Sorry JacinBin. :(

The Dialogue in New Avengers was absolutely brilliant... I laughed out loud at least three times... my girlfriend thought I was insane.

She's probably right.

When did Nick Fury get replaced as the director of SHIELD?

DarkCrisis

I'm guessing that will happen in the current Wolverine arc.

I'm guessing Wolvie will escape pr something from SHIELD custody and hide in the Savage Land and thus Nick will get fired or whatever.

No no no, Wolvie is being fixed up at present by Shield, then he's going after Hydra. Wolvie's also in the Savage land because that's where he is with the Uncanny X Men.
No way am I gonna tackle the continuity on this one

Actually it's simple. (Though I can't for the life of me remember where I've read this so please forgive me for vaguerys).

The current Thunderbolts is 6 months in the future from the events in New Avengers. (I think). So the Wolverine Enemy of the State thing hasn't happened there...I think.

####, it's giving me a headache. Would they just say that Wolverine has omnipresence and get it over with already?

Actually, I think he showed up there in the T Bolts during enemy of the state.
I'm with you on teh headache bit. Wolvie's got more continuity problems then Kang, and I don't want to see Marvel try to excuse that with a "council of Cross-over Wolverines".

That's what I had meant to say, but I got lost along the way.

He's not even the best Canadian superhero (Northstar), the hairiest (Sasquatch!), the wisest (Shaman), or the coolest (Box). I mean why the heck should he get all the press? He's a fuzzy midget with claws and several personality disorders. Please Marvel, give us a break from him!

Mr_JTR

don't forget, he's also not the best canadian midget (Puck). And, not the best one with claws (Wendigo). He is however the most over-used canadian.

Got all three of these books this week. Not sure if one could rate a Handbook

AoA #4 This series has been ok so far. Hopefully an AoA Dark Phoenix would kick things up a notch.

X-Men #168- I actually liked this issue. Get a little action, and I finally read a book where Wolverine acts like I remember him. I loved when he jumped at that mutant and sliced his fingers off.

Maybe... but I just couldn't use Zod's name, so I just use the "Me".
But I love the speech on the whole, and you know that already.
Wrong message board.

hmm.....

Wolvie's Wolvie's everywhere, Wolvie's in your underwear.

and you'll not want that pair back.

Just funny that, nearly a year later, and sure enough, there are now ad's for Wolvie underwear. That's freakin funny.
