Well DTM isnt going to do it anytime soon so I have taken it on myself to do it once again ladies and gentlemen have fun.

The rules are as follows:

Each character randomly starts 1 mile from one another, all located around the back edge of the arena. (think of a clock, but instead of 12 numbers, well have 32, evenly placed around the arena.) So character number 1 would be between character 2 and 32, character 2 would be between 1 and 3, etc.

The arena has been enlarged from 5 miles to 10 miles, so try and expand all of the details in this arena by a factor of 2 throughout.

Each character from the get go will have all of the other characters bios downloaded into their heads, as well as know where each other characters starting point is. (this gives teammates a chance to join forces, if possible, OR gives those solo guys a chance to STOP that from happening)

Basically its a free for all fight, using any means necessary by the characters to defeat their opponents and stay alive.

The Winner is simply the last man standing.

I encourage everyone here to get as creative as possible with your winning post and reasons for your winner. While I dont need a novel here, youre free to write as much as you like, but the minimum I will accept is your winning vote plus a small reason as to why.

Randomly Chosen Area:

New Millenium City - A large, modern city, full of gleaming steel, and polished marble skyscrapers. High speed train tracks, suspended in the sky, whisk it's industrious population from building to building. Perfectly manicured parks are nested at the feet of gleaming edifices to modern design.

Hmmmm, Optimus Primce starts right next to Megatron huh? Will they form a temporary truce wrecking anyone near them until the end, or just battle it out from the start until one is dead? Hmmmmmm.

First: Skeletor is missing form the list.

Oh boy, this one is a doozy.
The strong with first weed out the week: Megatron toasts Magmar, Mumm-Ra destroys Lancer, Captain Planet crushes Leader-One, Optimus Prime makes short work of Savage Dragon and Alec DeLeon, She-Ra beats Perout into a coma, and Rick's Veritech blasts Charizard.
Then on, the real battle begins.
InuYasha is able to keep Zok at bay, and eventually takes him down. She-Ra and Mumm-Ra have it out, with the heroine coming out on top. Frankenstein's Monster and Kong battle brute-style, and old Frankie one-ups the big monkey. Kensin punches a hole through Optimus. Birdman blasts Cy-Kill to oblivion. Genjo outmaneuvers Stitch and sends him packing. Captain Planet takes out Mon*Star, but is blasted by Megatron afterwards. Evil-Lyn uses her magic to eliminate Big Guy. Sesshomaru makes quick work of Skullmaster. Vash defeats Saw-Boss. And Thundra causes a huge storm that eradicates Rick Hunter.
Wizardmon and InuYasha battle, with the Digi Magician sending the half-demon to oblivion. Sesshomaru clips Bridman's wings. Genjo takes on Frankenstein's monster, but both are sent to the loser pile thanks to Evil-Lyn. Vash fills Kensin full of Lead, but gets struck by Thundra's storm.
Evil-Lyn and Megatron move on up. Evil-Lyn defeats She-Ra.
Megatron takes on Wizardmon, burning him to a crisp.
Now only 5 remain. Skeletor, Megatron, Evil-Lyn, Thundra and Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru slices Thundra to stop the raging storm, but leaves himself open to Skeletor's magic blast. Skeletor and Evil-Lyn decide to team-up, and both use their combined magic to annihilate Megatron. The last two contestants move to either side of the ruined city, and let loose lightning from their staffs. A brief pause...and Evil-Lyn falls to the ground. Triumphant, Skeletor lets out a loud cackle.

So, the Winnah: Skeletor!

No way. Skullmaster's archnemesis was a guy with a cosmic cap, and as Nightcrawler has taught us teleportation is a great and awesome power. Plus he's freakin' huge, and has a sword. He fought Thor.

The magic hat only opened preexisting portals, it didn't allow one to teleport anywhere at any time.

I think a force to be reconed with is Skelator and Evil Lyn. Not saying they'll win, just that they have a lot of power between them.

Ok, First off Optimus Prime and Megatron will go at each other, so their battle is out of the question since whoever wins will be too worn out by the end of their brawl to continue. (Though it would be nice to watch such a fight)

Skeletor will sneak by the two Cybertronian warriors (In no way will he interfere in their private war; it would get him killed.) so he heads off to Evil-Lyn who is close by (He will have his vengeance for her defiance of authority, Skeletor is like that, usually letting his rage and pride get the better of him.)

Magmar, Captain Planet and Leader One will brawl. Unfortunately, Magmar is one of the villains in the Go-Bots universe, so Leader One will square off with him until Captain Planet tells them to “Chill out” and encase them in ice breath.

Of course as Skeletor walks by he meets the Captain and the two square off in a grudge match.

Big Guy and King Kong will be a good old-fashioned slobber knocker, but Big Guy is used to fighting oversized creatures, so he will be sure to win (Of course he has lots of ammunition to go with that too). Evil-Lyn on the other hand will transmute Mon*Star’s Vehicle into something less threatening, like wood for instance. Evil-Lyn will then beat him with her raw magic power.

Frankenstien and Genjo will grudge match, because I’m sure Frank wants a rematch.

Meanwhile, Big Guy, Evil- Lyn, Skeletor and Captain Planet will eventually meet each other. Most likely CP and Big Guy will fall as Skeletor and Evil-Lyn team up. Then once the two wipe out Earths Champion and the powerful Robot, they will also fight it out (Both very exhausted from the fight).

Stitch, who is for all purposes a mini-juggernaut, will square off with Lancer.

Mumm-Ra and She-Ra will most likely face off in a ######## battle. Hulking Mumm-Ra and powerful She-Ra will rip the buildings apart with their fight.

Perout Le Fou will unload his firepower on Zok, but the dragon will maul him eventually.

Zok will then fly off to wreak havoc on the Stitch/Lancer Frank/Genjo Evil-Lyn/Skeletor She-Ra/Mumm-Ra fight and soon enough will fall once one of them blasts him with a magical beam.

Anyway, after beating their opponents, the exhausted Genjo, Stitch, She-Ra and Skeletor will brawl. She-Ra defeats Skeletor (Who by now is exhausted) in the name of her brother. Stitch beats on She-Ra who beats Genjo and finishes whatever is left of them.

Meanwhile Savage Dragon and Kensin Ramouri will have a very long hand-to-hand fight. With them both being experts in hand to hand, the winner is out of the question as well since he will be too tired to fight after the battle.

Alec DeLeon faces off with Saw Boss (Alec will not want to interfere with the two gods of close combat) and it will, as usual, be a long, hard fight.

Charizard and Rick Hunter will fight, but as soon as Rick realizes that the energy form his lasers are fueling the fire Poke’mon, he will revert to another mode of attack. Charizard wont win, but he will give the armor a huge dent in the process.

Then Rick takes on Alec and they will both destroy each other together with whoever wins the Kensin/Dragon match.

Vash will incapacitate Thundra, no questions asked. One or two shots will clip Thundra’s wings as she takes to the air, then Vash will remove the amulet and knock her out with a slight blow to the head.

Cy-Kill and Birdman will fight, Birdman will win though but like Thundra, Vash will clip his wings, although Birdman will definitely land a shot to hurt Vash severely.

Wizardmon and Skullmaster are not going to interfere with the brotherly feud between Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha. Wizardmon will fight the Skullmaster as Wizardmon has had experience dealing with people like him. Inuyasha will lose to his brother and Stitch will come out of nowhere to fight Sesshoumarou. Sesshoumarou defeats him with black magic and superior skill.

Sesshoumarou will then quickly disrupt and defeat Skullmaster (Wizardmon will detect it coming with telepathy)

Now it all boils down to two of the most powerful heavyweights in the division.

Sesshoumaru is grounded although he can leap stories high. He wields two magic swords and can’t be killed thanks to Tensaiga. Wizardmons best hope is a knock out, and since Sesshoumarou is capable of beating his brother and his entire party all at once, that hardly seems possible.

Wizardmon on the other hand is a magic user and an expert on demons (possibly being of demon blood himself) and is immune to most magic. Wizardmon has also a lot of tricks to pull on Sesshoumaru.

In the end, I see Wizardmon winning, but barely. The whip attack definitely will not slice him to ribbons and Sesshoumaru has only one real magic attack (Which Wizardmon can dodge) and will rely on his sword to land blows on Wizardmon. In the end I see Wizardmon showering Sesshoumaru with bolts of lightning (Which should keep up with Sesshoumaru’s speed) and conjuring illusions to distract him.

Even without the story, I would still vote for Wizardmon. He was built for this kind of battle. For one thing he is a stealth master, and no one in this division can match him in stealth; since this is a city, Wizardmon can play hide and seek and mess people up with illusions and tricks. For another he has multiple options for attack; should he face a robot for example his lightning magic will do a serious number on the circuitry, and should he face an opponent who needs to breathe he can cast Vision of Terror and that will end that story. He also has telepathy to keep everyone (except the robots) in check, so he will know everyone’s location and can pick on all the characters one by one without ever seeing it coming. What also helps is his invulnerability, which will give everyone in the division a serious headache if they want to destroy him. Not to mention he can fly to escape grounded characters, and if worse comes to worse he can conjure a weather control spell and everyone will be running helter-skelter from a typhoon.

In the end, a hunter will win this, and Wizardmon is going to be that hunter.

actually savage wouldn't stand a chance against kenshin since all he needs to do is land a punch to kill him

I remember Savage had vast durability. I could be wrong but hey, in any case if it does happen that way then Kensin will be taken out by either Alec or Rick or both.

The Red Baron
03/29/2005, 22:27
he does but the beauty of kenshin is his technique surpasses invuriblities.

This match rules for Big Guy, with firepower that definately outstrips his enemies. Surrounded he'll be at his deadliest. Where he just pops it all out, and ventillates the area (and he will do it to, it's not out of character).

Big Guy thanks to better crowd control then any other character in this.

So far

Skeletor 1
Wizardmon 1
Big Guy 1

In a better terrain, I think that Captain Planet could rule, but if he can somehow team ip with Thundra, theyed be unstopable.

I kid, I kid.

Wizardmon will win because no one in this division will be able to hurt him enough to win. The only guy that can really hurt him is Kensin, who will never get close enough to use his fighting style on him.

Sorry guys but Wizardmon wins this round.

4 VOTES!!!!! come on people you can do better than that!

Truth be told I dont think I even voted on the TOC Battle Royales I myself did. Probably one of the reasons why I stopped doing them. And I most wholeheartedly vote on other peoples TOCs or VS Battle threads if I know the characters well enough and if it catches my eye. Again, there was a reason I stopped doing these TOC Battle Royales, the main reason being a fairly poor attendance/particpation record.

Evil-Lynn and Skeletor will team up, they settled Evil-Lynn's defiance already.

The two together would wreak havok as Big Guy fills most of the competitors with Lead. With all the fighting chaos going on, Frank eliminates Genjo and moves on where Vash is involved in a big pile-up. Frank saves him and the two recognizing each others peaceful spirit, team up.

By now Skeletor and Evil-Lynn are just slaughtering everyone, once Big Guy has been taken out with Evil-Lynn wounded.

Vash gives cover fire as Frank lays into Evil-Lynn and whatever's left. However Skeletor gives a havok staff blast which actually fries Frank mind, causing a psychic relapse and Frank is given a technical knockout-or more appropriately, dead.

Vash blasts Skeletor's staff right out of his hand.

"Why? Why did you kill him? He was a peaceful creature! He didn't deserve to die!"

"He got in my way. None shall stop me from my victory! At last the secrets of Castle Greyskull shall be mine!"

"We'll see"

Vash fires again, but his pistol is out of ammo.

"HA! You have no weapon!"

As Skeletor retrieves his havok staff he laughs evily, thinking of how his victory is so easily obtained.

"Wrong there, boney"

Vash's left arm retracts into his machine gun, bang bang ratta tat boom, Skeletor's kneecaps, arms, feet, legs, and weapon are shot to pieces.

Vash, with his blue eyes flaring with anger, walks over to Skeletor, who's on the verge of unconciousness, begins to beg for mercy. With one swift kick to the skull (heh heh), He-man's archenemy is knocked out and Vash the only remaining hero.

Vash wins it, he's got the firepower, the Prob control to redirect trajectories, and the perfect calculations. No attack will touch him, he's better than Spider-man when it comes to that stuff.

Eh, I stopped in the middleweight cartoons because I had no one to root for.

That and it's so hard to write out these fights, in the end I know who wins, its just spinning the story thats hard.

As long as there's a superheavyweight battle royale, I'll be happy.;)

Keep in mind asking for a few basic reasons for a vote doesnt mean Im asking for a full blown out story. You could simply say Character X is stronger, faster, more experienced, what have you, over Character Y, and that would be fine and acceptable. You dont need to write a novel for such battles, and its a shame to see one of my most participating voters disappear because of this.

Ah, but the battle royales are the fun stuff, I just can't resist writing a story.

I only skipped out on the middleweights because I wasn't particularly fond of anyone there, and there were just too many unknowns for me, as well as too many possible takers (Static, Samurai Jack, Macbeth, Goliath, Agent Paper, Lion O, Yuske Urameshi, etc.)

Sometimes I just can't do the bare minimum . . .

I think Evil Lyn will win, her and skeletor together can drop pretty much anybody on this list. When they finally drop the last contestant she will finally make her bid at ascention and hit skeletor with an immobilizing attack that will allow her to win.
