The unholy war: Peanut Butter v.s. Jelly

Behold a battle that will shake with foundations of Earth herself. Angel and god alike shun from this match, terrified by the raw power of the combatants.

Since the dawn of sliced bread, PB and J have been allies, bring merriment and mirth to children everywhere. It's simple recipe, that delightful taste, sooo good, many adults still enjoy it.

But something has gone terribily wrong, and now I give you:

Peanut Butter v.s. Jelly!

Decide now who is the better half, and who gets put back in the cupbroad.

Peanut butter is harded to wash off the knife and is thusly stronger. You can (if you have this much free time - and apparently I did at one time) trap jelly in a well constructed peanut butter prison. Bottom line is that jelly doesn't stand a chance.

In the end Peanut Butter and Jelly put aside their differences and get back together for the sake of sandwiches everywhere.....;)

Agreed. PB takes jelly every time. Jelly has no backbone. It's as if it's spine were made of, well, jelly.

When we were little, my brother used to eat tunafish and jelly sandwiches. Yuchh. Always grossed me out.

There is no way PB takes this one. Jelly is just more versatile. It can go on many more things than PB can. Plus there are so many different flavors of it. Jelly all the way!

I'm back from my personal crisis, and am shocked that no one thinks jelly has a change. Mighty as PB is, you must consider the range of ability jelly has.

While PB basically has two favors (smooth and crunchy), jelly has a patheon of favors- strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, *insert color*berry, lemon, grape, etc. How can PB compete with this. How I ask you?

Peanut Butter has a huge advantage of being Peanut AND Butter. Jelly is just Jelly and is therefore outnumbered by Peanut Butter.

Peanut Butter wins nine times out of 10. It has plasticity. Jelly just can't handle that.
And crunchy peanut butter has toughness.

Well, if PB is getting help from his buddies chocolate and cheese (I, for the life of me, don't get that), then jelly gets some help from his friend- behold, on the side of Jelly- HAM!
