From that list I'm currently torn between Keira Knightley and Eva Mendes. I haven't really seen much of Evangeline Lilly (don't watch Lost) so I might add her to my list of possibles too.

If those are the actual actresses up for the role, I'm not really looking forward to the movie much. And I swear to god, if Jennifer Garner is picked to potray yet another Greek woman, I'm going to be pissed.

de4dp00l, the last quote I read from Joss Whedon said that no actresses were currently up for the role. He is just starting the story and isn't sure if they are going to go with a young Wonder Woman just starting out or an older more mature Wonder Woman. He also has to flush out other details before he can even start to think about what actress he would be looking for.

So as the story gets flushed out a bit more they will then start to look for possible actresses to fill the role. Until then, it's just pure speculation.

Edit: He did say that he wouldn't be looking to hire Buffy/Angel actors for roles. He didn't see this as a way of doing some sort of reunion. So Gellar and Charisma Carpenter are most likely out of it.

The answer is Monica Belluci.

Compare her and Alex Ross art and they are very similar. Add in the naturally European accent and you have a winner. Plus she is a real woman, not a stick insect like many of the above. Sarah MG? Scarlett Johansen? Not a chance.

They are actually suggesting the same actress should play Mary Jane and Wonder Woman?

This Wonder Woman needs to be european, dark haired, tall (there goes Sandra Bullock?!?!?) and frankly Amazonian. Duh!

All of the choices on that website stink. None of them have the bodytype to play her. She needs to be a big, athletic, dominating woman. Think of a power forward in women's basketball (or maybe a trim center, but not the lunky, icky-looking ones). All the typical Hollywood girls are anorexic jokes...

She may be a bit too old now to be believable, but Lucy Lawless fit the mold almost dead-on during the Xena hey days. Heck I would almost believe that Xena was a Wonder Woman rip off on some level.
