Clix vs. Comix TOC! 31-35pts. Round 1 Match 13: JUDGE HERSHEY VS. MADAME MASQUE

At this point, there are 2 indy, 3 marvel and 1 DC left. (Wait a couple days to find out who.)

I was playing Heroclix the other day, and building my team, I had 103 points left. I looked at my selection and realized that U HT Batman and R IC Hulk both cost the same. This got me thinking. Just because they are Heroclix equals doesn’t translate back translate back to comics. I think most of us would agree that Hulk could beat Batman in a fight.

That is the idea for this tournament. Every entry will be close to the same amount of points Heroclix wise, but this will be their comic forms fighting!

Rules:
This will be a standard single elimination tournament with 32 combatants. There will be 2 to a fight. They get no knowledge of each other (unless they have fought in the past). The only thing they get is the Heroclix figure of there enemies, and a PAC so they know what the opponent looks like and a bit about what they can do (this can be misleading however, like if they face Electro and think he will try to poison them). They will have 5 minutes to prepare. This is a fight to the death or KO, whichever happens first, and they must fight (no waiting for the opponent to die of starvation). They have with them what they normally carry and what there fig has if it is different. (Like how Bullseye doesn’t carry a gun, but he has one on the fig). If the fig that is being used is the rookie, you do NOT have to treat the fighter like that. (unless the characters powers change dramatically ie: Rouge)

JUDGE HERSHEY
Barbara Hershey has a meteoric rise in her career in the Judges. After graduating from the Academy of Law she was assigned to the Spacecruiser Justice 1 to find the Judge Child. Working closely with Judge Dredd, the two gained mutual respect for each other. Hershey survived the mission and was commended by Dredd himself. After being saved by Dredd from the Angel gang, Hershey was recruited into the Apocalypse Squad whose mission was to end the Apocalypse War by destroying East Meg One. Her successful involvement resulted in her promotion to senior Street Judge. Four years later, after Chief Judge McGruder took the Long Walk, Hershey became the youngest member on the Council of Five. After the Judgment Day crisis when Chief Judge Volt committed suicide, Hershey was promoted to Chief Judge of Mega City One.

MADAME MASQUE
Countess Giulietta Nefaria (aka Whitney Frost) became the leader of the Maggia crime family. When her robbery attempt was foiled by Iron Man, Frost's hover ship crashed and her face was horribly scarred. Saved by Mordecai Midas who gave her a golden mask, she took the new identity of Madame Masque. Frost started a relationship with Tony Stark, unaware that he was Iron Man. When her father, Count Neferia, was accidentally killed in a fight against Iron Man, she went mad and dedicated herself to destroying her lover. Madame Masque is an expert marksman and athlete.

Judge Hershey, and fairly easily.
If they get into hand to hand, she'll destroy Whitney, and
at a range, a heat seeker will finish it handily.
Better training, experience and equipment take the day.
Hershey has seen more street combat in a week than Masque
has seen in her entire career.

Judges are extremely dangerous, even the worst judges spent like a decade of harsh training in Judge's school and were the ones who survived (there's a high fatality rate, and also a high rate of injuries that put people into judge desk-jobs and the like. Only the toughest make street judge), and Hershey is one of the best judges.

She rocks this match.
