GL Kyle Rayner(with one hour prep) vs. ALL these characters AT ONE TIME:

Superman
Batman
Wonder Woman
Martian Manhunter
Flash
Aquaman
Plastic Man
Orion
Captain Marvel
Lobo
Maxima
Booster Gold
Power Girl

NO PREP for the team. On another site I frequent several people think GL would win by making constructs of all his opponents here. Does anyone here agree with this? Personally, I think they need to have their heads examined.

The winner depends on whose book the fight takes place in...

Exactly! Someone put this in their sig line, or repeat it in every TOC. It could be a running joke like the SR Erigtan thing, which I would repeat if I could remember it. Oh, and I don't read DC so I got nothing to add, but the Ultimates shoulda beaten the Ult X-men, but the fight took place in a mini-series whihch was essentially the X-men's book.

Actually the ultimates did win, you are talking about the ultimate war deal right? They beat all of them only the x-men ran away and lost their leader.

Kyle Wins. the GL can effectivly beat anyone at anytime. If he can hold back a supernova, I'm sure He could make a force feild to hold them all off and take them out one at a time.

There are several characters on that list that can move as fast as Kyle thinks and one that can disrupt his thoughts:

Flash
Superman
Captain Marvel
Wonder Woman
Martian Manhunter

Two of these characters can even tap into different dimensions (Speed Force and Rock of Eternity).

With an hour prep time Kyle will have an incredible advantage... but who's to say he'll predict Captain Marvel grabbing Superman and Martian Manhunter and taking them to the Rock of Eternity?

This scenario has too many variables, but I'd say the odds are against Kyle even with an hour prep time.

Gawd those guys would put Kyle in a hurt locker. No way does Kyle have the savvy necessary to tangle with all those guys. In Obsidian Age he and the rest of the JLA had more than an hour all together to prepare for a team that isn't even as strong as half that list, the whole team got wrecked Kyle included. In Identity Crisis Kyle and another crew of superheros again had over an hours worth of prep time and Kyle almsot got killed by Deadshot. Kyle has no where near the ability to handle that force, not on his best day.

Those guys would win, unless it was Ion-Kyle.

MM can attack psychically, Wally can vibrate through constructs, and Kyle, Hal, and Alan Scott together don't have the willpower to keep constructs breaking against that much raw power for more than a minute.

He can maybe make an army of constructs that'll hold them off for awhile, but win? No way.

In Identity Crisis Kyle and another crew of superheros again had over an hours worth of prep time and Kyle almsot got killed by Deadshot.

Well, he was shot in the head, but I wouldn't say 'almost killed'. And in the Obsidian Age thing, he literally died on purpose.

And every hero/villain gets almost killed all the time. Kyle has both downs and some major ups.

He died on purpose because they couldn't beat those guys any other way. If Kyle could have just rolled up and rocked them none of that death stuff would have been necessary.

Yea, but it was a fairly good team that had preped for them and took out Wally before the fight even started, but Kyle managed to last the longest of the JLA (and even protect some civies along the way).

I'm not saying he could've won or anything, but he's no slouch.

Since the GL's power is based on willpower, I don't think Kyle could win. As soon as Kyle saw the line up, especially Superman, Wonder Woman, and MM, he would feel overwhelmed and not have the willpower to fight. I think Kyle is the best GL, but I don't know anyone that could take that line up.
