616 vs Ultimate confrontations

Ok, I will start a new thread on VS fights. This time it will be on Ultimate characters VS their 616 counterpart.

Rules : no prep time, they are put in a 5 miles radius arena, ressembling a placethat is familiar to both of them. Like any other VS thread, it's 10 second incapacitate, ko or kill for the win.

Match 1 : 616 Spiderman vs Ult Spiderman
arena : 5 miles radius around the Empire state building

I'll start.

In this fight, I see 616 spidey to have the upperhand. Has far has powers and strenght goes, they are both about equals, but 616 Spidey has alot more experience and connections. I see this fight being over pretty soon with 616 Spidey incapacitating Ult spidey.

616 Spider-man takes this easily. Far more experianced and less likely to make mistakes, able to push himself harder, etc..

Firstly, I would hope Marvel would NEVER allow 616 and Ultimates characters to meet, and if they did it had better not be in the Ultimate universe (meaning i probally wouldnt read it).

Secondly, people get mad that Ultimates are stronger, but they really arn't (at least not all of them) and the inexperience of the Ultimate teen heros will usually be their downfall (like my favorite character, cyclops. Ult cyclops is really freakin cool, but lacks the leadership and off the wall trick shots that 616 cyclops has).

Thirdly, 616 spiderman beats Ult spiderman soooooo fast. No way Ult spidey can go 5 minutes without tripping over himself or something, and organtic web shooters will probally run dry before 616 spidey runs out of replacement cartriges, so running isn't even a viable option. (I know 616 spidey is supposed to be on organtic shooters now too, but I'm pretending that never happened- like so many other things in marvel today).
Winner - The 616 spiderman, but Ultimate spiderman is still cooler!

616 Spidey wins a physical fight. He has more experience, seems smarter and has a cooler temperment. He's also physically bigger and has a longer reach.

616 Spidey has also been through things that Ult Spidey can't even fathom. 616 would win just by sharing his tales of woe:

Ult: I'm all messed up since Carnage killed Gwen.

616: Carnage? My Gwen's neck snapped when I tried to catch her with some webbing after the Green Goblin threw her off a bridge--after she gave birth to his twins. The thing that really kills me is that she died without knowing how much I really loved her.

Ult: Gwen . . . love? Twins . . . Osborn the father? You killed . . . [head explodes]

There was a great short comic at the back of Dork Tower #30. 'Arachno-man' was unloading on his shrink.

"And I killed my ex-best friend's dad, because he was the Crimson Kobold. Oh, and did I tell you about Aunt May? She was going to get married to Dr. Squid, my arch-nemesis who has declared he intends to kill the amazing Arachno-Man, but then that got called off because she died, but that turned out ok because she came back..."


I mean, heck, you can write pages of what's wrong with 616's life without even getting into clones!

Even if you take 616 Spidey from a similar point in his career,
he'll still win.
He's a lot smarter, making his own webs and shooters from
scratch rather than building on his Dad's research, and he was
always coming up with a scientific solution for beating his
enemies.
He's also a lot better at avoiding damage, as Ultimate has
already been shot and seriously cut a good few times.
