Round 2!!!

I was playing Heroclix the other day, and building my team, I had 103 points left. I looked at my selection and realized that U HT Batman and R IC Hulk both cost the same. This got me thinking. Just because they are Heroclix equals doesn’t translate back translate back to comics. I think most of us would agree that Hulk could beat Batman in a fight.

That is the idea for this tournament. Every entry will be close to the same amount of points Heroclix wise, but this will be their comic forms fighting!

Rules:
This will be a standard single elimination tournament with 32 combatants. There will be 2 to a fight. They get no knowledge of each other (unless they have fought in the past). The only thing they get is the Heroclix figure of there enemies, and a PAC so they know what the opponent looks like and a bit about what they can do (this can be misleading however, like if they face Electro and think he will try to poison them). They will have 5 minutes to prepare. This is a fight to the death or KO, whichever happens first, and they must fight (no waiting for the opponent to die of starvation). They have with them what they normally carry and what there fig has if it is different. (Like how Bullseye doesn’t carry a gun, but he has one on the fig). If the fig that is being used is the rookie, you do NOT have to treat the fighter like that. (unless the characters powers change dramatically ie: Rouge)

When you vote, please try to justify your answer. You don’t have to write an essay, just a short explanation will do.

Terrain
There are 10 terrains that are all 5 miles in diameter. They will be chosen randomly.
With out further delay…

Blizzard
fig from IC, 35pts.
vs.
Black Cat
fig from CT, 32pts.

Terrain:
Purgatory by Magnito
This could quite possibly be the emptiest terrain ever. There is nothing. Not a tree, not a building, not a ground. It appears to be a big white room, except with no ceiling or floor. The fighters will be suspended in the air as if they are flying or swimming. Those that fly or swim will feel at home, those who usually walk, may have to take some time to get used to it.

BLIZZARD (II)
The second villain to bear the name Blizzard, Donald Gill uses his battlesuit to project everything from freezing cold flurries to icy darts to steams of frozen water strong enough to dent steel. Up until recently, the Blizzard has been in the employ of Justin Hammer, whose missions have brought Blizzard in direct conflict with the hero Iron Man.

BLACK CAT
Taking after her father, Felicia Hardy became a cat burglar; training in martial arts and acrobatics. To re-enforce her unlucky name, Black Cat would rig accidents to make her enemies think she had probability control powers. She fought and was eventually caught by Spider-Man. She later escaped and ended up fighting crime alongside her "Spider." The two became romantically linked but after she was wounded by Doctor Octopus, Spidey forbade her from her crime-fighting career. Black Cat made a deal with the Kingpin to attain true super powers, getting the ability to bring bad luck to anyone she was near. In part to this new power, Spidey and Black Cat ended their relationship.

I think that this environment (or lack there of) would definately support ranged combat as well as limit the things Black Cat can affect with her prob control.

My vote: Blizzard.

Although I want Cat to win.

One thing that BC has going for her is that she is probably more used to this kind of mouvement. Blizzard may take a while. Is that enough, probably not. If anyone can come up with a good reason to vote for BC, I'm all ears, but untill then, my vote...
BLIZZARD

I think we found the single worst terrain pull for blackcat, I vote Blizzard.

Blizzard, more powerful, not that much less experienced.
