Star Wars LW TOC Round 1 Match 4

Well here we are the time has come to fine out who the best of the best is! This TOC is just like others except smaller so each match will be up for twp days and after every 2 matchs the voting will be closed for the pervious two. I would like to thank everybody who helped get this ready and would like to give a shout out to the don99 who is helping with the numbers.

Fighting in the-
Geonosis Arena: The same arena where hundreds of Jedi fell during the first battle of the clone wars on Geonosis. Many broken battle droids and laser pistols litter the area. unused cannons and artillery are also present.

hmmmmmmmmm I'm afraid that in an open arena with no jedi powers kyle is outclassed by the power of the super battle droid.

Wait a minute...What's a Super Battle Droid? It is the normal droid that walks around, a Destroyer Droid, something else entirely?

But whatever it is, I think that Kyle can beat it. At the end of Dark Forces, he had some really powerful weapons, and if he can take on Dark Troopers, he can defeat this thing.

My vote can change if I can get clarification of what a Super Battle Droid is, though.

The Super Battle Droids are the Blueish Driods at the end of episode two. The are highly inhanced Battle Droids with more armor, weapons, and fighting power. And in this Terrian it gets my vote.

Isn't Kyle the guy from Dark Forces? The one where he beat quite a few Dark Trooper droids, which are even better than Super Battledroids? (since they were made decades later with better technology)


My money's on Kyle Kartan. No-one should be better at taking out Droids than him, and a super battledroid is only a match for the lesser Dark Trooper droids.

I think they said this was Kyle WITHOUT his Force powers. (I doubt hed be in the LWs with force powers really) That being the case, in a big open arena such as this, and the SBD shooting as fast and be as durable as he is (which isnt THAT durable, just stronger than human at least) Id have to go SBD for the win.

With enough terrain and against a smart and cunning character, the SBD is definately beatable here.

He didn't have force powers in Dark Forces I anyway (note- Dark Forces is a star wars game, not saying he has force powers), just guns and the like, and he took on tougher droids than this. And in addition to his own guns and grenades, there's also cover here in the form of dead droids with armor just as tough as his foe, and also weapons identical to his foes.

Katarn. No way is he going to lose to a stupid droid, even a super one. He'll outdraw it and get the first shot off, and be able to avoid anything it fires back. Plus, he's got that energy shield, so he can take a few hits too.

Super Battle Droid. He is heavily armored to protect against normal blasters and he fires about as fast as a heavy repeater....

Wide open, little cover... eat it katarn!

I think Kyle can pull it off. He'll dodge and duck till he can get to a random cannon laying on the ground and blast the SBD to peices

Excess ammo and equipment? Kyle Katarn vs a droid?

Kyle smokes that thing like a cuban cigar. When you can out do sewage beasts in their home environment, waste dark troopers like it was going out of style, and whomp on Storm Troopers (laugh or not, Han couldn't handle them in the numbers Kyle did, plus they're better then the SBDs, effectively being the Clone army which wailed on the Droid army), a single SBD is bantha puuduu.

No? Because Kyle is from the games. Any fiction on him is based on the games themselves

Which is more or less also true for Prince Xixor, Dash Rendar, and some of the rest of the crew from Shadows of the Empire (since that was all one big mass marketing push to sell the game).

I'll go with Kyle as well. He has proven he can easily take opponents of this like, and more than one at a time, I don't see him losing.

Actually Shadows of the Empire was one big product not just a whole buch of stuff made to push the games.

Any Way Kyle wins. and round two will be up as soon as some one can match these up for me.
