Star Wars Lw Toc Round 2: Match 2

Well here we are the time has come to fine out who the best of the best is! This TOC is just like others except smaller so each match will be up for twp days and after every 2 matchs the voting will be closed for the pervious two. I would like to thank everybody who helped get this ready and would like to give a shout out to the don99 who is helping with the numbers.

Fighting in the-
Tatooine Skiff Battle/Jabba's Sail Barge: this arena is Jabba the Hutts gigantic sail barge. Falling off from it will result in getting eaten by the Sarlaac.

Han Solo blindly knocks Kir Kanos off the barge. I mean if he can take out the Galaxy's greatest Bounty Hunter by accident why not a simple ex-royal guard?

Well Because kir kanos is more than a guard. He has shown to be able to spare with luke, take on several people, take down some jedi, he is the best lw here imo, he is almost a mw and could be easliy if he was nominated as such.

And Boba Fett is the best bounty hunter in the GALAXY! Han Solo's greatest ability is his insane luck. In the end I think it would be too much for Kir Kanos. I'm basing my vote purely on his luck, in a true fight Kir Kanos would beat the #### out of him. But Han is lucky!

Kanos for this one. Solo is lucky, but if we go by the 50% rule, Solo won't be able to win more than 50% of the time. Luck can only take you so far...

I dont think I should count your vote 2099, if its just based on luck. Because Solo is actually not that lucky, two big things one he got forzen in carbinite, and two he couldnt save chewie and three (for the heck of it) his kid died.

Does Kir has any ranged attacks, or is he just using the standard Emperors Royal Guard force pike?

he doesn't usally use that, he has a blaster the same as fett i think, but in the comics he uses a force pike but with blades, think darth maul's weapon but viro blades where the light saders would be. (viro blades are powerful blades that block light sabers), he is really good with both, oh and has a blaster rifle

Hmmmm, well in a more open arena Id go Solo, but Jabbas Sail Barge is too confined and closed in, with very little room for ranged attacks, meaning the greater skilled warrior that is Kir Kanos should be able to handle Solo more than not. As a HUGE Han Solo fan it pains me to do this, but in all honesty, in this arena, he wont beat Kir more than not.

My Vote - Kir Kanos (See Professor A, this is how you vote AGAINST one of your favorite characters, you should try it sometime) :):laugh:

I agree with DTM. It greatly pains me to vote against Han Solo. He's one of the best. I seem to recall a scene from one of the Timithy Zahn novels where Solo is locked in a closet with Niles Ferrier's Defel. The Defel is far superior to Solo in every physical aspect, yet Solo figures out a way to set him on fire, taking him out and escaping. Sure he used his surroundings, but Solo is the master of that. I vote for Solo.

As much as it pains me, I'm going with Kanos on this one. If it was more of an open battlefield Han might have a chance and even though he lucky all the time I don't think it will help him here when is Kanos takes him apart limb by limb.

I was tempted to vote against Han, then I thought about certain instances where he was outclassed and always came out on top. That's why i changed my vote halfway through writing it.

Like Don says, Han's "power" is overcoming the odds. Heck, he's the one that really made the line work. :) He's crafty, has a blaster and an archfoe far more deadly and crafty than Kir (we've seen Fett and Solo get into it more than just the bit in the movies - each time it ends up a draw and the way I see it is that Boba would demolish Kir). There's an extra advantage here for Han: he's no stranger to Jabba's Barge which means he knows where the weapon catches are, where the power controls are, etc. Han's the type to use the overload function on his blaster to booby-trap the barge, pinning Kir into a fight on Han's terms.

Hmmmm, Im being tempted to switch for Solo here, how close are the votes now?

As for Solos luck power, Im sure its just a low level Force Attunement he has, such as Luke in ANH without Bens training, not so much a Luck Power ala Longshot. Several official SW sourcs have declared Han in fact does have this ability.

DTM, you're 100% correct. He does have a slight attunement to the Force. That's why he has a very small amount of midichlorians. The average Jedi has 10,000, he has like 1500 or so. I'd say that's as good as any reason for his amazing luck.

Kir Kanos can hadnle Jedi's, he can fight the jedi (Luke) to a stand still. Han will be beheaded before he knows whats going on.

Luke as a Master, I doubt that. Or Luke before he's very powerful? If it's the second, well, then Solo could give him a good match also.

I was just about to say this myself. If Kir can handle Jedi Luke, then hes certainly not a LW.

The Pro Solo voters have convinces me, please switch me over to the Han Solo side. :)

he didn't handle him, he held him off long enough to let the emperor escape (it was a flashback during his two mini series- Crimson Empire 1&2) it was during the Dark Empire comic.

Kir Kanos takes it. He's got more skill and training. Han's incredible luck can only take him so far. Maybe when Han's here, he'll have a flashback to being frozen in carbonite, and freeze up.
