TV Cartoon Battles: Mixed Teams TOC: Round 1, Match 15

Go Visit Match 14 First, then come here and see which team below shall advance to Round 2.

With pretty much the same rules as with all of my TOCs, except this time:

The terrain has been enlarged to 40 miles wide, as always, protected by a force field of the strongest power to prevent characters from escaping or flying their foes to the sun.

Team will now have a 10 minute "Planning Stage" where each team can talk and prep amongst themsevles against the opposing team. Characters may NOT leave their immediate area during this time and no powers, spells,etc. can be used. This is a planning, sharing information stage only.

Now without further adieu, allow me to present your next battle in a BRAND NEW (aka: OLD, OLD, OLD) type of Tournament Of Champions:

TEAM MEWTWO - Flash Gordon (Defenders Of The Earth), Yusuke Urameshi (pre-Dark Tournament) (Yu Yu Hakusho), Saw Boss (Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors), Mewtwo (Pokemon)


As always, same rules apply, no time to prepare, POOFed from where ever they were, with only what they routinely carry on them AND/OR routinely used in their shows, to fight in a Large area til one stands and one falls. YOU decide Who.

Junk Planet - What a pile of junk. The surface of this planet is covered with debris and old junk. Mountains of it rise up from the hard baked dirt floor, weaving canyons through the never-ending sea of debris. Not even the equipment meant to process and compact all this litter works any more. (Inspired by: Mega XLR, Junkion, and Junk Yards everywhere)

Wow. Yuske and Mewtwo will just anihilate the opposing team. Big O is no match for Mewtwo and Yuske is pretty tough, almost HW level, so goliath doesnt do much against him. Saw Boss and Skullmaster appear about even. But with Mewtwo's Psychic abilities (allowing no place to really hide and lots of stuff to throw) and Saw Boss's strategy I think the only real problem They'll have is getting Yuske to listen to them.

Also I just looked at the Bios and couldnt find Zandor so no real comment from me on him. But the lightweights dont do much in these fights anyway.

Well, some LWs are able to handle their counterpart LW easily, then moving on to help with the MW, allowing their MW to help with the HW, allowing their HW to help their SHW against the opposing SHW for the win. Even the smallest weight class can help their entire team WIN in the end. :)

Wow...this is a gold mine for Mew Two...anything is his to command. He can ride atop Saw Boss while shutting down the eveyrone but Skullmaster (good bye roger smith), then him and Sawboss together to take down Skullmaster. Flash and Yusuke will be able to provide enough distraction to Skullmaster but mew two is just awesome in this environment. Yusuke needs one good shot to take down Skullmaster as well....Team Mew Two wins this one almost all the time.

if i'm not mistaken, big o has been known to operate independently of roger.

i'll toss in a vote for mewtwo... since he was powered up enough in the shw toc, he never even has to move from where he starts.
his team can take a nap, and he'll just mind crush everything.

Meh, both Conan and Flash Gordon have both made careers out of defeating HWs/SHWs of immense power. Conan kills gods for pete's sake, and Flash almost single handed defied an intergalactic empire, and defeated Ming not once, but everytime he showed up (even killing monsters with his sword that were supposedly impervious to all harm).

Both those lightweights pose signifigant threats to any hw/shw.

What about Dirk the Daring who defeats undead and magical creatures of all shapes and sizes?

Also, Jigen practically won a match for his team earilier (open field, everyone except Sailor Saturn could be taken out by a single bullet, and even Saturn'd be taken out by a few), and he's a LW. Iria's laser rifle was a threat to the HW Veritech in her match...

LWs do matter.


In this match, however, Big O might have the power to hurt Mewtwo (it's really strong), but it doesn't have anything designed to hit a human-sized target, especially not one that fast. Combined with Mewtwo's TK and shield, it'll have a heck of a time getting him, so Mewtwo might take a minute, but he wins. So does the rest of his team.

Yeah, but then people went and ignored one of the most dangerous lightweights of them all, Matt Tracker. Yes, I'm still bitter about that travesty of a result!

Team Mewtwo to win here. Mewtwo is easily one of the most dangerous SHWs in this tournament, and he has one of the most dangerous MW still operating (GRRRRRR!) with him.

What i dont know is why people are saying Yuske is so powerful, at this stage he is really weak. Big O's Beam attack can take out the entire team except Mew Two, And with skullmaster thorwing spells at MewTwo right and left Mew Two will be tied up for a little bit. Big O might not have attacks for little guys but his attacks are big enough to affect a area large enough that mew two will be in.

At this point, my vote seems pointless, but this has got to be the best terrain for Mewtwo, who is incredebly string in his own right. (the SHW semi-finalist I believe). My vote...

well hmmm I dont know, its tought to support the underdog on this one Mewtwo plus junk yard, might as well be magneto..man thats just hard to beat.....

does skull master have that soulsucking staff deal I think he had in the show, though if he does it still might not help against mewtwo....

as for Big O he might be the saving grace only for this reason he is likly tough enough to withstand the stuff mewtwo will through at him, Big O is very tough but I dont know the extent of mewtwos powers and skull master.... its realy tough without knowing the extents of there abilitys....

but what seems to be the trend my vote wont matter unless I chould somehow come up with a reason that team big O
chould take out mewtwo, and I realy cant.
