Who do you think is better, Ultraman or General Zod??
Both have flight, almost equal point cost and are Supes enemies...
I don't have either, but a friend of mine has both and I've had a lot more trouble taking down Ultraman then General Zod. Running Shot & Range Combat Expert is better then Charge & Close Combat Expert anyday.
Also, Ultraman doesn't have Supes Enemy, he has Crime Syndicate; which is basically built in probability control.
I agree with actraiser. Ultraman Is better statistically and you can't count on outwit as much with fortitude which is Mandatory with supes anymore.
If you're playing any sort of good opponent they're eventually going to get Ultraman off his first cilck, its not hard to do. For the point range you're in its all about depth, and General Zod is much more consistant down the length of his dial.
In the end it all comes down to the player's style and the support figures for both of them. I prefer Zod, others prefer Ultraman.
For around the same price I would take LE Superman myself, but if he's not an option at all then I would definitely go for General Zod; his stats are more consistent and he's slightly harder to hit.
I would say ultraman because he has ranged combat expert, u can give him trickshot for a nasty combo, zod is simply the close combat one of the two, so he is just there to take hits and deal it out, while ultraman picks off the guys as they come, just keep someone in front of him to take the hits, because he loses range combat expert right away.
I wouldn't invest 20 points in a feat he can only use on his first click.
Especially because I would most likely push off of that slot. Running shot for 5 damage on the opponent's centerpiece and hopefully another 7 to finish it off on the next turn.
I easily took down an Ultraman that had a Lazarus Pit on him. I recieved 500+ victoy points in a 300 point game. To be honest I barely took any damage in that entire match. I vote for Zod.
I have both and have used both Zod is no match for ultraman
Ultraman would take zod one on one hands down zod starts with charge that's not very helpful on a star of the team clix
As Ultraman gets hurt though he ends up witha 5 attack. Seriously, the guy has no staying power at all. If you can pick them off from distance you're set, otherwise he's going down like a big blue brick.
