i just saw it. and honestly i enjoyed it. its not bad for a 2 hour tv movie. the story is cheesy as is the aussie actors trying to have a cajun accent but alll in all it was fun. way more entertaining that dare devil.

I agree, I thought they did a great job on the way Man-Thing looked and the special effects.

A good way to spend a Saturday night.
Assuming you aren't partying.
Or recovering from a party.
I TiVo'd it and haven't watched it yet.

It would have been a mediocre TV movie...if it wasn't obvious that it was actually a TERRIBLE movie made for the theaters, chopped up and edited for cable TV.

aside from being all butchered for TV, it made a decent B flick, with a little horror thrown in, didnt care much for the weird goofy story, though i am glad that Ted was actually the Man Thing, as i heard it wasnt going to have anything to do with the comic book (even though they made him some kinda indian witch doctor guy), but overall not bad, and Man Thing looked awesome (for the whole 5 minutes he was actually on screen)

I was pleasantly surprised at the whole thing. I'm glad the effects were good, definitely gonna get the uncut 'R' version on DVD....
Better than Daredevil...though I was slightly disappointed at how little screen time Man-Thing got, as he is one of my favorite Marvel characters. And he'd totally beat Swamp Thing in a fight. :p
