Welcome to my Fighting Game Tournament of Champions! Here, we pit the greatest champions from all sorts of fighting games against eachother and see who comes out on top! If you've participated in any other TOC before, you know how the basic rules work. However, for my tournament, fighters start about 20 feet from eachother. Remember, only vote for the one you honestly think would win in the conditions given (no fanboyism!), and if you need any information on any of the challengers, JUST ASK. Now to begin.

Hibiki Takane (Last Blade 2)

Vs.

Chris <Sleeper> (King Of Fighters '97)

Randomly selected Terrain:
Haunted Cheateau (Darkstalkers, with a touch of MK):
This creaky, labyrinthine mansion sits in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by a wildly overgrown vineyard. Beneath the mansion rests a ratmaze of cold stone cellars/dungeon, with the occaisonal secret passageway.

Here's Chris' deal, provided by ca551u5:

Chris was part of the New Faces team in The King of Fighters 97. He's a high speed priority ##### with some serious ant-air power and zero-range combos. If he can get up close (as in grab range) then he's got some of the most punishing combos in the entire series. He uses high speed semi-teleport* moves to close quickly.

The <Sleeper> appelation is to make it clear that this is NOT Chris in his guise as the Heavenly King of Flame, AKA Chris of the Flame of Destiny. Chris, it turned out, was in fact the Chosen, the one who would be the mortal host of The Orochi (a SHW and a half!).

*While he seemingly vanishes, he does in fact cross the space between start and finish. If there's an attack such as a fireball or the like out there, he will hit it, and take the damage.

I vote for Hibiki.

Chris is going to have a hard time closeing if he uses ground based means of appraoch (which seems to be his focus). It is also hard to out priority sword people (especially high priority pokers like Hibiki). Chris might gets some hits in with intial confusion, but he will be less and less effective as Hibiki adjusts to her.

Faster than the speed of light...Chris is outclassed here, he's fast, but so is Hibiki. And she has a sword. If it wasn't Sleeper Chris, then he'd win, but Awakened Chris sure as heck isn't a LW.
