And Round 3 is still going strong. With just 2 matches left til Round 4, and then the FINAL MATCH of the entire TV Cartoons TOC. Currently, Team Omega Supreme has a nice lead over Team Genie, but as mentioned before, with days left to go, its still anyones match. :)

With pretty much the same rules as with all of my TOCs, except this time:

The terrain has been enlarged to 40 miles wide, as always, protected by a force field of the strongest power to prevent characters from escaping or flying their foes to the sun.

Team will now have a 10 minute "Planning Stage" where each team can talk and prep amongst themsevles against the opposing team. Characters may NOT leave their immediate area during this time and no powers, spells, etc. can be used. This is a planning, sharing information stage only.

Now without further adieu, allow me to present your next battle in a BRAND NEW (aka: OLD, OLD, OLD) type of Tournament Of Champions:

TEAM VENGER - Daisuke Jigen (Lupin The 3rd), Static Shock (Static Shock), Birdman (Birdman), Venger (Dungeons & Dragons)

VS.

TEAM GODZILLA - Leonardo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Sailor Uranos (Sailor Moon), Stitch (Lilo & Stitch), Godzilla (Hanna Barbera) (Godzilla)

As always, same rules apply, no time to prepare, POOFed from where ever they were, with only what they routinely carry on them AND/OR routinely used in their shows, to fight in a Large area til one stands and one falls. YOU decide Who.

Randomly Chosen Area:

Jungle Ruins - Lush, verdant trees rise over the jungle floor below. Thick vines crisscross the canopy. A large, ruined city complex sits in the center. It's fantastic masonry eroded by rain and time. In the middle it is bisected by a large, placid river flowing in at one end of the arena, and leaving through the other. (Inspired by: Tarzan, Jungle Book, etc)

Thanks all, and enjoy.

And REMEMBER, if youre not sure who someone is here, ASK. Theres PLENTY of people here who can tell you most anything youd like to know. Thanks again.

ALSO, please do your best to respect everyones votes, reasonings and opinions here. If you believe your character should win, but doesnt in the end, dont hold grudges against the character that beat yours, or call the votes that allowed this to happen "fanboy" arguments or plain and simply wrong. We all have our own way of thinking and voting here, with each one of our thoughts and ideas as valid as your own. Lets do what we can, even in the heat of an argument, to respect that. Thanks.

Yow - raw power SHW against what might be the most synergistic team in the TOC. The terrain will cut down on Jigen's range, but he's still got a *ton* of experience in landscapes like this one. But then, I can also picture Stitch swinging a tree trunk like a baseball bat (I'm not a huge Disney fan, but that's a pretty neat image). What do you think are the odds that Venger has a Charm Monster spell that'll work on a giant, 20-hit-die, lizard? Seeing as the big G could just set fire to the whole jungle, this could get as messy as the Superion match over in New Millennium City...

Hmmm . . . the terrain is quite hindering for Jigen to immediately take out all the characters this time, but Static could easily help out with that. Birdman can definately take on Stitch and Venger can easily cook up some spells to mess with Godzilla.

Throwing Jigen is for the occasional clear shot take down is enough to give Venger's team an advantage. It's not going to be as quick as their other battles, but this team can definately take it.

Vote: Jigen, Static Shock, Birdman, Venger

Im going with Team Venger here.

Venger is the most powerful evil spellcaster and demon in the entire D&D universe, and Godzilla for all his might is a very large, fire breahting lizard, who unlike mystical dragons, has no special magical defenses. Sure his high HD would increase his resistances, but he has no special magical resistances that makes Tiamat such a hassle for Venger to fight. Not even talking direct damage, spells like Hold Monster, Charm Monster, Sleep, etc should work ok against Godzilla (who isnt THAT much different from a few of the LARGE monsters in the world of D&D)

Im sure Birdman can keep Stitch busy, not really sure if BMs solar blasts will hurt Stitch though Im pretty sure BM isnt going to get hit by a rock or tree thrown by the grounded Stitch, until Venger is through with G and then helps against Stitch. (as I dont believe Stitches durability extends to the world of magic)

Static Shock faces Sailor Uranus, which would normally be a great fight, though since I BELIEVE she get many of her powers and abilities through metallic devices and weapons, Static should be able to crush/neutralize/take away them from her leaving her much lesser powered in the end.

Personally, in this terrain, I can see Leo getting the drop on Jigen and taking him out, but at that stage, Leos a bit overwhelmed by the rest of Team Venger.

Gotta agree with the points made above. While he's big, mean & green, cartoon Godzilla isn't as dangerous as a D&D dragon, which Venger can handle.

And with the others on each side having no one completely dominating, Venger can finish of Godzilla, move on to help the next closest teammate, bring them along to help the next teammate...

Team Venger to round 4.

And Team Godzilla goes down to possibly the best team in the TOC. Its was good while it lasted. Team Venger to the final 4.

Well you've all summed it up. What elce is there to say. (OK, I admit it, I'm to lazy to think of my own argument.) My vote...

Hmm,

I'm going to agree that Venger is going to take Godzilla. Birdman may not be able to take Stitch, but he can keep the alien busy till Venger finishes up and comes to his aide.
Jigen is going to try and set up a shot at Uranus but with her danger sense she should be able to dodge, but the distraction should allow Static to finish her. (Or Static distracts her and jigen blow her head off.) Leonardo takes out Jigen by arriving via stealth and tagging him before he can shoot the turtle, but by now we have Venger, Static, and Birdman vs Leonardo. Leonardo is doomed.

Winner: Venger

Static Shock faces Sailor Uranus, which would normally be a great fight, though since I BELIEVE she get many of her powers and abilities through metallic devices and weapons, Static should be able to crush/neutralize/take away them from her leaving her much lesser powered in the end.

Her earth attack is innate, no device, and her sword is... hmm, it itself is energy, but the hilt is metal I guess.

However, she's fairly resistant to electic attacks (It shows up often in SM), and her Earth Attack is still both usable and would be great against his electical defenses. And she's a good fighter.

Those two are IMO a close match, and the sword's not a large part of her power, it just gives her a greater range of abilities (a laser for an alternate ranged attack, and also a big close-range boost, but their fight is probably going to be at range, with World Shakings pounding his field and knocking him around, and her dodging many of his attacks).

Team Venger. Venger enslaves monsters nastier than Godzilla before breakfast, and then he's free to help the rest of his team deal with the opposition.

The thought of Jigen getting a True Strike spell cast on him scares me.
