Spoiler alert
Wow just saw this episode and it was amazing. Captain Marvel and Superman destroy an entire city with their fight, and it's all a set up to discredit Superman. Some serious business is going down with this series and I can't wait to see more. Captain Marvel was so well written
The fight was unbelievable and I couldn't believe the mean streak on Superman. Superman was by far the more agressive in this clash. Cap put up a good fight but he can't win against DC's golden boy. I hope all you American fans get to see this episode soon and be sure to look for downloads (if you find any then let me know ok).

Is this the Ep that's going to be on YTV(Canadian Cartoon Station) tonight?
I live in Praries and Am just wondering.

Yes, a great episode.. intro fight was great too.. too bad the heroclix version of parasite is nothing like this one.
So... when Captain Marvel was preparing for the fight you could say it was a "Train in Vain"
What?
WHAT?
Yeah, I just saw it on YTV.
Great episode, I'm really liking the JLU!

I couldn't get over how well written Cap was. He starts out as the ultimate adoring fan and ends up giving a lecture on heroics to the core members before quitting the league. This show just blows me away with every new episode.
I love the fact that It's not just based around the big players, but you also see the lesser known characters.
I've been a fan since I first saw the show.

I think the Parasite was absorbing the powers of Elongated Man and Metamorpho and using them, which I didnt know he could do. Many clever little tidbits in the ep:
-When Superman saved the plane at the beginning of the episode, his theme music from the old 'Superman Animated Series" came on
-Captain Marvel answering a question from reporters whether he was moving to Metropolis from fawcett City:
"No Maam, I help where I'm needed, but Im a Fawcett boy at Heart" in reference I believe to Fawcett (sp?) Comics, whom DC got the right to Captain Marvel and Shazam from
But the shocking yet somehow not shocking ending....
Lex is behind Cadmus
####, that shifty Luthor!

man.... all the little comic references are driving me CRAZY, this show is so awesome!!!
"shazam... Shazam... SHAZAM!!!"
"I think you've said enough, son."
I can't believe how much I'm geekin out over all of this....

This is by far the best written cartoon series ever. I loved how Lex played on Supes paranoia. He's a better villian when the world loves him. My only complaint is that they didn't give any background to Cap Marvel. He just shows up. At least Huntress got a little origin scene in "Double Date".

Thats so amazing how awesome "Double Date" was. Do they ever clarify whether or not this Huntress is from Gotham? But I loved that they pulled from "World War III" and "Huntress: Cry for Blood". or was it "Hunt for Blood"? I can never remember.

In comics, the Marvel family lives and operates in Fawcett City. IIRC with most of the properties that DC has acquired (ie. Cap marvel, Blue beetle), they have invented a city, where those characters operate, named after the Comics company that they acquired them from.
Anyway to DL thse episodes?

Superman was on a mission when they recruited Cap. Marvel.
I am loving the show. Task Force X was a killer episode too. I was hoping Lloyd Lawton would have worn his out fit. Maybe they will change the name from Task Force X to Suicide Squad?

Anyone else think that the show will split off into a JSA show aswell? The comic is doing incredible and the characters are already being placed. Captain Marvel left the JLA, Cadmus has Powergirl at the moment. Atom Smasher has made his debut in a couple episodes. Doctor Fate is around every now and then. etc.

OMG I would love a JSA show but lets see where they take JLU after this season first. Big things are comming and I can't wait.

You know, I was upset how JLU started in the states before it aired on YTV, But you have to hand it to YTV. They air the show when it is suppose to. None of this reruns to drag out the season finally ####. Every Friday, new episode.

But there has to be a huge change after this season.
there is too much going on to even contemplate the possibility of any sort of status quo for what comes next.
Especially with how the season is supposed to end.

so the general consesus is that there will be a new season I thought someone on the boards said that cartoon network had decided against another season of JLU (unless they are just changing the titile again)

I can't access the page now, cause DC went through a major site upgrade.
But I remember in the press release about their new logo, where they stated someting about recently signing a new deal to extend JLU.
