Alright, I just watched the Clone Wars marathon on Cartoon Network last night and I'm a bit confused about something. At the end of the show, Grievous "captures" Palpatine. Is this supposed to be where the movie picks up from, or are there more episodes that they didn't show in the marathon?

Nope, I believe in some spoiler thing I've read somewhere, Revenge of the Sith starts with Anakin and Obi Wan trying to rescue Emperor Palpatine who was kidnapped by the separatist army.
I was a little surprised why Palpatine was so against being kidnapped by Grievous, you'd think they would have hinted at his being Sidious and what not . . .
Is this supposed to be where the movie picks up from...?
Yes.
And that was the last episode of Clone Wars aired. You saw it all, sir.

Thank you very much. Now I don't have to go psycho double checking for more episodes.
One other little curiosity though. One of the episodes showed Qui-Gon taking Anakin to the tree of insight on Dagobah. #1, when did this happen? IIRC they didn't have time to test Anakin because of the crisis that was going on when they found him. #2, do you think they'll show what he saw in the tree in Episode III? I'd love to see just what happened to him in there (though I'm sure it'd be close to that hallucination he saw in the caves.)

The kidnapping of Palpatine - and the reasoning behind why Sidious doesn't reveal his duo-identity to Grievous - is portrayed in greater depth in the novel "Labyrinth of Evil" which literally goes right up to the opening moments of "Episode III". It's a great novel - solid characterization all the way through it. Heck, it's worth reading just to see that Grievious is more than just some special effects - the way he's written in the novel he's not only a serious threat (let's be honest - most of the villains in the prequel movies come across as buffoons) but actually has a personality.

Sidious doesn't know about the Palpatine/Sidious connection? Jeez, the manipulation of the Sith knows no bounds, does it? I figured that Grievous was in on the whole thing and that as far as he was concerned capturing Palpatine was just an act to lure in the Jedi. Thanks for telling me about the book though. I'll take a look for it next chance I get.
