The graphics look nice. I'm sure the engine will be fine. Playing as Venom should be interesting.

Did anyone else feel that the writer of that article was really trying to sell the game?

There are a few other instances, but they're more subtle. The Venom arc was the one that saw me drop the title. Alot of other people I've spoken to have said it was a low point in the book as well.

As for quips; What is Spidey going to do, scream "Why?" over and over again during the fights?

That being said, I'm interested in the gameplay that Venom may provide. Having to munch on bystanders midfight sounds pretty cool. Though, I do wonder what Venom's motive for helping (?) Spidey is going to be.

What they don't tell you is that you're going to spend 95% of the game 'angsting' over Mary Jane, putting the ones you love in danger, and why all of your friends either die or become super villains.

Wow...thats great. I love the cell shading. I cant wait to get my webs on that! Hopefully they dont make Venom into a complete idiot like they did in the previous Spidey games for Psx. That would just blow.
