I just picked up the game for my game cube, and I can't figure out how to make characters like Storm fly. I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

you have to add to her flight ability.

I never used that crappy girl.

Storm is DEFINITELY NOT a bad character to use. When you power up her Whirlwind, she wipes out GROUPS of villains at one time. She can devastate.

After you get the ability to fly, hold the "jump" button. Jean & Rogue fly as well. Storm is awesome when she gets chain lightning.

Don't even bother getting flight it is possibly the most useless skill in the game. You cannot even use your mutant attacks while flying which is horrible. Although flying and air skating is fun with mask of xorn.

iceman is 10X better, plus his icebridge is awesome.

I agree on flying. The only character I gave the flying ability to was Rogue, because I continually pushed her Might and clobbering stats, not her actual powers. So long as she didn't stay in the air long, she could hurt someone bad for an initial attack.

I like Storm almost as much as Cyclops, because you don't have to aim nearly as much with her. If you are stuck on the opposite side of the wall, she'll commonly still hit them with her lightning. And welding things.....well......doing it with cyclops became VERY tiresome.

When my friends and I played Gauntlet-style, one of them put a lot of flight on Jean......So they continually had her fly around, and then drop in about 5 seconds after she ran out of energy. Instead of learning their lesson, they then used up some precious energy packs and flew some more.....if there had been an explosive barrel nearby I would have hit her with it.......

Storm's Chain Lightning was essential for me to beat Marrow the second time around.

Am I the only one who developed a deep-rooted hatred for Morlocks after playing this game?

flight is very useful for finding hidden items and power ups

You never developed the cheat of fastball special then after gaining the item, take control of another character and leave the one character back there. It will catch up and you wont lose a life by falling.
