I am so hyped, you dont know how hyped I am.

I am getting very excited for this game. Supposedly, it will contain more dungeons than Ocarina of Time. Now, just make those dungeons as superb as OoT dungeons, and I will be in bliss. I hope that rumor is correct, and I hope they are not small, dinky dungeons. And the graphics just look stunning. Now my game library for the GameCube will be 5!

This makes me sad. Ocarina of Time was one of my all time favorite games. This new one looks to finally be going back to that style, and the be even BETTER...but no way am I buying a Gamecube just for this one game. :(

So I'll steal my younger siblings Gamecube for awhile. :)

I went with my friend the other day to purchase his Gamecube for this game. Im so stoked.

I bought my PS2 just for Castlevania: Lament of Innocence.

I loved Lament of Innocence. Awesome soundtrack.

Here's what happens:

The main character is coincidentally named Link. He has the standard green hat and tunic, but what's new is a Triforce tattoo and an unusual kinship with animals. Somehow or another, he is wisked away to Hyrule which has been cursed by everyones favorite villain, Ganon. It is being taken over by some sort of twilight curse. In addition, Link is turned into a wolf every time he enters Hyrule. It will also feature better graphics and a brand new arsenal of weapons.

I get Nintendo Power, I know these things.

venarnage

I wish I had the power of Nintendo.

thanx For The Spoiler Warning Dumas!!!!!!

St-Dumas
06/04/2005, 00:10
My bad. I thought people only cared about spoilers with movies and TV shows. But hey, we all learn from our mistakes.

The Qwardian
06/04/2005, 00:16
Except for Ganon, he never learns.

St-Dumas
06/04/2005, 00:31
Maybe he should trade Triforce powers with Zelda.

andrewtarius
06/04/2005, 00:33
Except for Ganon, he never learns.
And Zelda for that matter. She always gets herself in trouble. If she would stop, then Link could settle down and have a chance to grow up naturally, rather than being thwarted into battle because of her stupidity. Dang Princess Zelda.

The Qwardian
06/04/2005, 00:50
Dude, you know nothing about girls do you?

If it wasnt this she would be flirting with Ganondorf inorder to to make Link Jealous.

icymatt
06/05/2005, 00:21
This looks to be a bizarre, bizarre game.

Also, when Link turns into a wolf, he is ridden by a little goblin kid named Midna.

I also like how they are being back the 'Dark world' concept from my favorite game in the series, A Link to the Past.

Screw tingle, I dont want some little fairy whisping by my head always going, "Hey! Listen! Over here!" Man..I hated that fairy.

Then he could transform into even more of a "man"....hahah

nOOb! You go out and you play all the rest of 'em! All the Zelda games ever (except the CD-i ones) can be played on GC if you hava a Gameboy Player.

andrewtarius
06/05/2005, 15:53
This is just an observation, and it may be coincidental, but the guy/thing riding Link (as wolf), his left eye (http://media.cube.ign.com/media/572/572738/img_2785378.html) (our right) looks a lot like Majora's Mask.

I guess I should, ne?

Windwaker is fun, but I suggest playing Ocarina of time...and then trying to knock out Majoras Mask. If you havent played that yet, it will be fun your first time....HAHAHAH.

andrewtarius
06/06/2005, 11:14
Wind Waker was an OK experience. Ocarina of Time, however, leaves you all warm and fuzzy when you finish it. Or was that the shrooms? Definitely play Ocarina of Time. The ending is much more satisfactory than Wind Waker, or probably any other Zelda game for that matter.

If I were you, I would make sure you are not on any controlled substances when or if you play Majora's Mask. You will want to kill yourself while playing it. That game is really confusing and frustrating. But it is fun.

What happened to the Batman+Robin av? Did people get offended? I thought it was pretty funny.

venarnage
06/06/2005, 11:49
I have to agree. Majoras mask on illegal substances is EXTREMELY trippy. Especially when he changes masks and makes those creepy noises....*shudders*

Yes, Ocarina of Time was amazing...simply amazing...just beware of the UFO's.... ;)

venarnage
06/06/2005, 11:50
Oh, and Fate...We all know how much you love fairies, but after playing Ocarina of Time, you will learn to loathe them....despise them....

andrewtarius
06/06/2005, 12:32
But you have to admit, the (great) fairies in OoT look like cheap prostitutes. And the Re-dead are always humping you. Although, Sheik is kind of good looking. Well, until-- just play the game.

I will definately agree to all the above.

Froggore
06/06/2005, 13:00
yeah the great fairies always weirded me out in OoT. Especially the weird sexual laughs they would do when they came out or healed you.

Yeah, they came out half naked, and looked like they were just involved in an end of the world pimp slap. I'm surprised they didnt make Link "work" for his presents...

The Qwardian
06/06/2005, 18:26
They werent as weird as the 6 arm freak-a-fearies from Wind Waker.

And yes I spelt it that way on purpose.

doctorfate77
06/07/2005, 02:10
is Ocarina of Time on GC?

andrewtarius
06/07/2005, 12:29
If you can find the Master Quest combo disk that was given when you pre-ordered Wind Waker. Here is what you could look for: http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=916082
I don't think it is available for new, but you may find it at a used game store.

Other than that, its on N64. You can get an N64 system for about $15 also at a used game store. The game would cost around $35.

andrewtarius
06/07/2005, 12:31
If you get the Master Quest combo disk, the Master Quest game is the exact same as Ocarina of Time, except the dungeons are different.

Froggore
06/07/2005, 12:57
or you could always wait for the Revolution and download Ocarina of Time, but it's probably a year at least til you'll be able to do that

doctorfate77
06/07/2005, 13:49
that's an option. I think I'm gonna look into finding the discs used, though.

The Qwardian
06/08/2005, 23:30
Theres two disc's, the first contain Ocarina of Time Original and Masters quest.
The other is The Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition. It has the first 2 Zelda games and OoT and Majora's Mask. It was Promotional awhile ago. You could get it if you subscribed to Nintendo Power.

andrewtarius
06/08/2005, 23:52
Oh, that's right, the Collector's Edition did come with OoT. It was also available as a promotion when you registered a GameCube and 2 selected games, you got it for free. Or it was in a bundle when you bought a new GameCube.

Out of all those possibilities, I was still not able to get it.

She will be mine, oh yes, see will be mine.

icymatt
06/09/2005, 19:59
Do you have a GBA? If you do, it's best to play the Link to the Past port they have before Ocarina, Majora, or Windwaker. I find it hard to convince fans who first played the 3D Zeldas that ALttP is the best game in the series.

venarnage
06/09/2005, 21:14
I have to agree with you icymatt. It is hard. Same thing with Final Fantasys. Everyones played the newer ones, and hates the older ones. Nobody gives them a chance.

andrewtarius
06/09/2005, 21:18
Well, I did play Link to the Past before Ocarina of Time, but Ocarina of Time just had a lasting impression on me. Much more than Link to the Past. Don't get me wrong, Link to the Past is a great game, but Ocarina of Time is slightly better than it.

The Qwardian
06/10/2005, 20:03
Want to know whats fun? Play the Original Zelda, but dont get the sword. Try beating it without the sword, man is it hard.

I liked OoT because of the graphics and the things you could do with a game. I feel that if they redid Link to the Past on the new platforms, it would rock the kazba! We just got ufo's, the ability to warp, and a horse in OoT. That changes a lot about a game...

andrewtarius

The UFO's were in Majora's Mask ;)
