X-Men 3 Script Review

I've read most of the X-Men 3 script, and it was review by aintitcoolnews.com.
So far, it seems...interesting. They are doing some things I am not okay with, in the slightest, but others I think are pretty cool. I won't reveal anything unless people ask.

The new, confirmed characters are Avalanche, Gambit, Beast, Angel, Juggernaut, and Shadowcat played by a new actress with a bigger role.

I agree. I believe he fits the voice, but I do not want to see a giant mistake on screen. If they do him right, he'll be amazing.

I heard that Kitty Pride was going to be played by the girl who plays Shannon on Lost. She also guest starred on an episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit...I don't know anything else she was on.

I'm wondering if they are going to computer animate Beast's body and like manipulate Kelsey Grammar's face onto it or what...but the voice is perfect.

Hey, Storm is my favorite X-Men character. Yeah, Halle Berry doesn't do that great of a job, but she looks good doing it, and this is a comic book movie, not a Shakspearean play, lighten up. I'm all for more screen time for Storm, maybe they will actually show use her powers.

I gotta agree with DC on this, except Spidey 1. I hated Spidey 1. Im the biggest Spidey-Fan I've ever met, and was hoping for so much more. I had been watching Sony try the Spidey movie, ever since the day they signed on for it. Actually, I've been waiting for the movie to be made, ever since all the other companies went bankrupt trying to do it. It was AMAZING to see Spidey on the big screen, but I really didn't want Raimi to have it.

....I'm not going to even begin on the actors. Only 2 of them fit the part in the first one. Willem Dafoe and J.K. Simmons.

Wow..if only I had an edit button. Anyways, forgot about DD. I loved it too! The Directors Cut made it SO much better.

Spiderman 1 - Pretty horrible, salvaged by fine acting by William DaFoe and surprisingly Toby McGuire. Kirstan Dumb is a horrible Mary Jane. Green Goblin Power Ranger served no purpose ... it was dumb and didn't bring one person in to see the movie. No web shooters, also stupid and didn't put one person in a seat. Script was a decent amalgam of spidey's origin and the (almost) death of gwen stacy.

Overall rating from 1-10 Stars: 6

X-Men 1: Casting was on point. Script and story plot was decent. Special effects were decent. The overwelming problem with this movie (corrected in the second) was that nobody used their powers. Storm does nothing, Jean is useless and can't even fend off Toad, Wolverine stabs nobody. I sat there the whole time thinking ... just hit him with Lightning, just put up a force field ... WTF ?

Daredevil: Good script, and a decent cast however several thinks ate goat balls. 1) the biggest casting mistake was unfortunately in choosing Daredevil. Ben Affleck is an unathletic tool who can't act but also can't bench his own weight. Mathew McCoughney (sic) would have been better. Garner was good as Elektra, MCD was on point as Kingpin. Also Bullseye's dialogue and recasting as a retarded half mute Irish biker was just un needed.

Punisher: I have admired watching turds spin around and go down the toilet more then this jank. Changing his origin did not put on extra butt in a seat. A love interest is unneeded. Too bad as Thomas Jane looked pretty bad as Frank.

Hulk: This screen play should have been laughed out of the studio as somebodies mushroom induced haze. All I kept asking was why ? why no Rick Jones ? why no gamma bomb ? Why hulk dogs ? why Nick Nolte ? Why ? Why ? Did any of Ang Lee's creative license with a franchise that is older then him put ONE F'in person in a seat ? the answer is NO !!! Stick to the book for this one ... the only redeeming thing about this wretched pile of Avi Arad approved puke is the CGI Hulk smashing stuff.

X2: Wow ... mutants using their powers ! What a concept ... X2 rocked and I have little to complain about with the exception of some of the weak acting by Lady Hobag and James Madsen. Magneto holding the blackbird up without breaking a sweat - check, nightcrawler going hypersonic on the whole secret service - check, wolverine losing his cool and spiking militants left and right (even better in the uncut version) - check, jean being the powerhouse she is - check, pyro burning stuff - check ... Cool plot with great potential to spin into a franchise.

Spiderman 2: Well i won't hold the faults brought over from the previous spidey against this one (web shooters, kirsten dumb, etc.). As a stand alone film it had a great plot, Alfred Molina was outstanding - nice effects, nice Spiderman angst and a great set of arms. Only real issue i had was the ending with Doc Ock becoming a hero and sacrificing himself ............................ NOT !!!! ARE YOU KIDDING !!! Doc Ock is a psychopathic lunatic obsessed with world domination and the power of the atom. Read Spiderman / Doc Ock Year One. Still a better effort then Spiderman meets the Power Rangers.

Batman Begins: I won't spoil anything on the film. It was awesome. Gary Oldham and Bale are flawless ... no filthy love interests in this film, just dark gritty Batman.
