Spoilers:
Alright, despite my original claim that I would wait until the price went down on the FF video game, well I did wait at least until the end of the day, and the store DID say it was on sale. (NO WILLPOWER!) I'll worry about paying the first days price later, for now, I am having too much fun. Their powers are COOL! And this game does for Reed Richards what the X2 movie did for Nightcrawler. That is, it shows how his powers can devastate, and with RANGE! I don't even care WHO I am fighting with them, its just entertaining to use each of their powers. The storyline flows merrily on from one opponent to the next without much drag so far. Although sometimes it jumps forward without tying the plot together and leaves you feeling like you missed something. (One minute you are up in space, and the next you are in the hospital room. Those not familiar with the story may take a while to catch on.) The game play is fine, strangely though when you go between off play screens like to save it for instance, it seems to have a strange choppy clankyness to it that seems more suited for games of 10 years ago. (That may just be me though!) But don't get me wrong, the gameplay is definitely latest edition. Yeah I hate that my classic Kirby villains are all drawn wrong, but the action is so much fun, I just tell my self that its between their laundry days and their suits are at the cleaners. And to tell the truth, I was having so much fun using the different FF powers, again, I hardly noticed who I was fighting.

Spoilers:
The villains are familiar, but done in an "Ultimate" Style which I personally hate, but the game draws my attention to playing with the FF. I haven't finished the game seeing as I only got it yesterday, but the handbook says that besides Dr. Doom, there will be the Mole Man, (who I have seen, and he sounds like the Mole Man, but reminds me of the Mole Man on vacation, or Louie DePalma from the sit-com TAXI. He has minions of ALL shapes and sizes.
Also listed to appear are the Puppet Master, with his spotchi radiation hair-do, Diablo without his trademark headgear and looking like a Samurai, Dragon Man with a normal sized head as opposed to monstous one, Blastarr who looks like he stuck his finger in a light socket, or is doing a Sabertooth impersonation, and finally A sleek armored up Annihilus.
I was looking at the book and one thing caught my attention. It list credits for people doing voices of "Classic" characters. I am hoping that like the XMen Legends game, you will have an option of playing in "Classic" uniforms.

Spoilers, I guess. I dunno. I need game help.
If anyone's playing it, I need help I'm stuck. :(
I'm at the "DOOM" part of the game, right after Ben and Johnny defend the courtyard and lobby from all of the Doombot, you play as Reed and Sue in a hallway. I beat all of the Doombots and deactivated the lasers and.... then, nothing. There's nowhere to go!
Halp!

I dont know yet. I just found out its co-op, so Im going to go over to a friends house tonight and try it out. I hear that its set up kinda like X-men Legends. Is this accurate?

Go to the control panel at the end of the hall. As soon as you get there, some more Doombots will bust through the wall. After beating them, make your way through the hole in the wall.
(You're almost done with the game, BTW.)

An easier sort of game than X-Men, but yeah, it's a lot like it.
It's worth picking up. It's short, but there are lots of unlockables (like interviews with the cast and Stan Lee) that make it replayable. You have to find so many tokens to unlock the Stan interviews and some of them are QUITE hidden.
Better than Batman Begins, not as good as X-Men Legends.

I agree! It hasn't got as many options as XMen Legends, and also less characters, and it isn't apparently as long. I personally like to collect MARVEL games I enjoy. I am GLAD I collected the Fantastic Four (I really enjoy playing the FF team), and very much look forward to the next XMen Legends. On the other hand, I doubt if I will collect the Punisher or Blade games unless I hear some good things other than constant shooting and maiming of street people. When I want to do that I'll just go to a WWII game.

I did that, beat everything, and the door at the end of the all didn't open for some reason.
And I HAVE beaten the game now. The Doom fights were somewhat easy, although I lost two lives trying to get the FF token on the three-person roof fight (and STILL didn't get it!).

So I rented the game. Made it to the end of the aztec level.
decided, I needed to work on my Invisable girl. Went to training. It asked me if I wanted to save it? I said yes. After training was done. I lost all my other data. I had to start at the beggining again. I was not happy.

That is a bummer. Hope it didn't discourage you! I found the level in THE VAULT worth the wait.

I beat the game this morning. I enjoyed it, using a variety of powers and seeing which worked well together.
Spoilers
The only thing that annoyed me was how powerful Doom was. He burns up, then comes back invulnerable, then becomes incapacitated with a splash of water. I pray to god that doesnt happen in the movie.

Have to say I like this game FAR better then Xmen legands. This game does tie into the Movie and the Ultimate FF Series.

Spoilers about the movie
Well, what happened in the game happened in the movie. Suprisingly, I didn't mind. It was awesome!
Please help:
On the level with Invisible Girl where you have to fight the giant stone fire breathing thing, how do you do it? I keep putting him down, but he keeps coming back to life. And I can't find a way to jump out of the place. What am I supposed to do?

When you beat up the giant stone guy, he falls down. Then, if you look on top of the center platform, you'll see a glowing simbol on the wall. Attack the symbol. Hit it as many times as you can until it shoots lightning at the stone dude and he comes back to life. Then, repeat.

dj sha, when he falls down attack the spot where he came out of. Have to jump on the pedastal and attack the wall. You have to break the seal.

Spoiler
The giant stone guy also is suseptable from behind (I find a lot of the villains from this game are suseptable from behind). But attack him with a force blast from behind, he will usually fall down after one (depending on the level you play), then jump up on the table on the far end and rapid-blast the sheild he came out of. He has a hard time reaching you on the table, so protect yourself on the table until you power back up. repeat until victorious!
