I traded my E Thing for a Thunderbolts card?
Eh, fair enough I think, if you wanted the card more than the figure. Sure.

The card I will play more than I would have the figure.
Let's see... You traded a rare, which comes one per pack, for a card, which also comes one per pack. This solves nothing, so let's break it down further.
There are 8 rare REV sets in the set, making 24 rare pieces total. You have a 1 in 24 chance of pulling The Thing (Experienced). There are 20 cards total (8 feats, 6 bystanders, 6 BFCs). You have a 1 in 20 chance of getting the Thunderbolts feat card. From these statistics, yeah, you got the worse end of the deal but not by much. Though this is just speculation that card ratio is even, which doesn't make sense since the cards are not uniform in number.
I'm sure you can come across another Thing just as easily as you could the Thunderbolts card. You didn't make out like a bandit, but you also didn't really get screwed.

I'd say you definitely got the better end of the deal. I also try to trade based on playability over rarity, and I'd jump on a trade like that like a hobo on a ham sammich. IMHO, V Thing is the only one really worth keeping from this set, and there's just so much that could be done with the Thunderbolts Feat that it boggles the mind. To sum it all up, you done good.
yeah, if you needed the card and don't plan on playing any F4 members, I don't see whats the point in keeping items you aren't going to play opposed to getting pieces you are going to play.
I agree that the E. Thing isn't going to get as much play anyways as a V Thing anyhow. So considering all that into effect, I say you got a fair trade in the end. Especially if PERSONAL value of the card is higher than the personal value of the figure.
Think of it this way also. There is four different versions of the thing you can potentially get from boosters. compare that to the one significant card you need to get out of the box that you get thunderbolts with and you see that the chances are good you'll get another thing down the line.

i say u both got screwed because by the time u get ur fig/card u will allready get it. Plus there is the shiping and box charge.at the end u give a F4 charactor and like 4 bucks for one silly card. which u will get sooner or later.
